History

Established in 1979.

In business for over 4 generations, our store started in Moosup in the 1920’s as a plumbing and supply business. We grew to carry mattresses, and later added furniture under the name Despathy’s Furniture! In 1978, our original store burnt down, and we re-​opened in 1979 as Bill’s Bedding here in Danielson. We are owned by brothers Gary and Gerard Nadeau, and have become North East Connecticut’s premier furniture and bedding store!

Manager

My name is Deana, and I have been employed here at Bill’s since 1995. I am the daughter/​neice of the owners, which would make me not only a family member, but a 5^th generation in the works! Over the years I have witnessed our superior customer service, and the growth of our business with brands such as La-​Z-​Boy, Ashley and Serta.

We pride ourselves on our no pressure atmosphere, and our knowledge in our products (because of our extensive relationship with our manufacturers) ensures our customers that they are getting the furniture and bedding to fit their needs.
