Worst experience I have had in a while. My laptop started updating to Windows 10 on it’s own and the battery died during the update. Laptop was rendered useless. Brought it to the Microsoft store and was told it would be $ 150 to fix it. Files would be restored and Windows 10 would be installed. When I questioned why I had to pay because the software caused the problem I was informed it was because Microsoft couldn’t ‘Pin-Point’ that the update was the cause of the issue. WHATELSECOULDISPOSSIBLYBE? Computer was working fine before the update. Why am I paying anything? Your product failed. I was told that services had to be rendered so money had to be paid. Let me repeat YOURPRODUCTFAILED. Called Microsoft to complain(waited on hold for 1H and 15min) and was informed they could do nothing and I had to go back to the store. This experience was so bad and left me so upset with the lack of customer service, faulty products and accountability I will NEVEREVER spend another nickel on a Microsoft product. A message to Microsoft — You should be ashamed in yourself. My advice — Buy a Mac

This past weekend, I decided to take a few minutes out to explore my first Microsoft Store. I had known about this location for a few years and decided that the time was right to head in. Although I was calmly greeted by an employee reminding me that he was there if I had any questions, I knew I wouldn’t have: I’m a computer fanatic and know the Windows operating system like the back of my hand — inside and out. I was glad I was able to test out some of their new hardware and some of the software to see what it’s like, and being able not to be bothered for a minute or so was nice. Was astounded that the notes program I used didn’t have an option but that’s not something this review can and should include. I’m used to the 2013 version and felt it weird to ask being I knew where to find the info online. I explored for a few minutes gathering details of prices on all the new Microsoft hardware technologies. Which, prices are a little higher than normal but not abnormally high and that definitely made me smile by the time I walked out the door. The store was immaculately clean and well kept up. I felt like I was walking through a store that had just recently opened(though I knew it had been open for years. In my humble opinion, if you find people saying it isn’t clean, ask them to tell you the real truth, and not base their experience on the company or operating system itself. Even though I didn’t need to make a purchase in this trip, I know I’ll eventually be back in time. They never pestered me not once. They weren’t too busy, so apparently this was an average day. I’ll keep you in mind when I got questions or need to buy Microsoft hardware.

Very glad to have an MS store in Danbury. Great place to test drive all the freshest laptops and game gear. Prices are a little on the high side, but they have several models on sale and ask for discounts and promotions available. Large helpful staff, it’s a very comfortable and warm place to get great insights on MS software and a variety of hardware. Much check out Surface and related and hear the pitch on why the alternate form factor is so special.

I was having a problem with my iPhone not being recognized by my laptop after I did an update to iTunes. I initially had an appointment at the«Genius» Bar at the Apple store at the Danbury Fair Mall. They had no idea how to solve my problem. They told me to try the Microsoft Store since I was running Windows 8.1 on my laptop. I then went to the Microsoft Store at the mall and spoke with Associate, Bill. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He completely uninstalled iTunes and re-installed it. Presto! It worked fine. So much for the«Genius’» at Apple. They were clueless about their own product. Thank you Bill at Microsoft!

This is a full fledged Microsoft store. It is no pricier or cheaper than any other Microsoft store. I love it when they have Microsoft store only deals. I have so far received two T-shirts from them, a free Surface Touch Cover, and a warranty replacement without any hassles. Staff is helpful, but could be a bit more knowledgeable. They concentrate on the issue more than their style/look though, unlike some other stores(ahmm!). I have been treated well on all my visits, except one where they gave me a L830 as a L1020 replacement(I wasn’t happy that day). I wish it was more towards the middle of Connecticut so all Connecticut had similar access to it. I have to travel over an hour to visit it. Update: There is now another in West Farms mall.
