I needed more tree work done. I had a dead ash tree that had to come down and I needed some tree limbs cut away from my house. I again got estimates from two other tree businesses and I again got an estimate from Little Stevie. I will be honest, when I got Little Stevie’s phone number from Unilocal,I was a bit concerned when I read the other reviews. I also know there are two sides to every story and reviewers that have only a couple reviews, some only one review, aren’t the most credible sometimes. So, I called Little Stevie and got an estimate. Once again Little Stevie was the best. About a week later I met Little Stevie at my house. Everyone was very professional. There was NO foul language. Little Stevie was very attentive to my needs and kept asking me if the tree trimming was to my satisfaction. If I wanted a certain tree limb taken down, he would do it. Some of these tree limbs were very large and close to my house. It was impressive to watch the care and planning they took so as to not damage my house when the tree limb fell. I stayed the whole time he was there and no payment was required until the job was done to my satisfaction. I am happy to say that it was and then some. Five stars, again.

Very unprofessional, poor language around my kids, cashed the check but never came back to finish the job. I called 6 times no call back, I would never use them again. Don’t trust

UPDATE: The last thing that Stevie promised he would do was cut down the stumps which the guys had left very high. It’s been 4 months and I’ve left about 2 dozen messages and I’m still staring at these huge stumps everyday. It seems that the customer service fell off sharply once I paid in full. ORIGINALREVIEW: I had some monster trees that were becoming a safety hazard at my house. Some were over 100′ tall. I was scared of them for a couple reasons; 1. with all the storms we seem to be getting in the northeast, I was worried they’d fall on the house and kill me and my wife in our sleep and 2. they were so big I was scared I’d need a second mortgage to get them taken down. I called around and got prices from five different tree guys. I had gotten Stevie’s number from a friend that had him and his crew do some work at his house a few months back. He was very happy with the work and even happier with the price. So, I gave Stevie a call. He came over the next day to look at the job. I honestly need to emphasize just how big a job this was. I had 9 trees that had to come down and 7 of them were over 80′. To complicate matters, the trees were hanging over my house and over the power lines. Stevie’s price was 35% less than the next closest bid for the job. The last guy that came and looked at the job asked if I had gotten other quotes and I told him that I had. He then asked what the best price I had gotten was. When I told him Stevie’s price, he was in disbelief. He said to get him there and do it while the quote was still good because I wasn’t going to find a better deal. I called Stevie right after the other guy left and Stevie and his crew were there the following Monday. They took down all the colossal trees as promised and even took down a couple other small trees without charging me anything additional. The guys were all polite. They cleaned up the site when they were done. They got the job done in 2 days as promised and the price was exactly as quoted. I couldn’t be happier with them and for all these reasons, I highly recommend them.
