History

Established in 1991.

Assumed the Dental Practice of Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein who started his practice at 93 West street in Danbury. He than moved his practice to North street and Dr. Marks assumed the practice in 1991. In 1993, we moved back to the origins of the practice at 93 West Street.

Dr. Marks graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was a member of the Phi Zeta Kappa Honor Society, Phi Omega Epsilon Honor Society, and the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society.

Dr. Marks received his DMD Dental degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, also in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Dr Marks has held a number of teaching positions, including FDU School of Dental Medicine, Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, United States Public Health Service Hospital, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Williamsport Area Community College.

Dr. Marks attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service, where he received various letters of Commendation. He was additionally the Deputy Chief Dental Officer at the United Stated Public Health Service Hospital, Lewisburg, PA.

Dr. Marks has published original articles in Professional Journals.

I’ve been using Dr. Marks for 3 years now and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. He’s very professional and highly educated in his line of work. He’s a great dentist and deserves high marks, I highly recommended you give Dr. Marks a try.

Rude, Un professional, and charged me for services he did not perform!!!
I went for a cleaning, check up and X Rays. The first visit I didn’t even get to meet the Dentist. He even came in the exam room to ask the hygienist a questions, and didn’t even have the courtesy to introduce himself. Since the hygienist was so friendly I figured I would give them a second chance.
I show up at my second appointment, and find out its for another check up and more X Rays. (simply trying to charge me as much as possible) I will also not be meeting the Dentist today. Even though he is in the next room. I tell them I am leaving, and then they ask if I would like to meet the Dentist. So it takes them losing a patient and Money to actually care about their patients.
AND after all of this was said and done, he charged me almost $ 300 dollars and he did ABSOLUTELY nothing for me. He is a scam artist!!!
I am filing a BBB complaint (which he is not even accredited!!), and I am disputing the charges with my insurance company. This so called Dentist just stole money from me!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. He will literally steal from you!
UPDATE SINCE I POSTED THIS: THE DOCTOR CALLED ME BEGGING ME TO TAKE DOWN THESE REVIEWS, AND ASKING HOW COULD WE WORK SOMETHING OUT. i HAVE A NOTE WITH THE DANBURY POLICE, AND HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO CONTACT ME ANYMORE.
IF YOU DON’T WANT BAD REVIEWS, TRYING BEING A DECENT DENTIST AND CARING ABOUT YOUR PATIENTS!!!

On a business trip and had a dental emergency when I chipped my front tooth. Dr. Marks took me in, fixed my tooth so I could have a good meeting. Thank you Dr. Marks for helping me when I was in a bad situation. Tooth looks great and I’m thrilled! I know good dental work, I’m a dentist as well.

OK, so for some reason my last review got filtered! WHAAAA!!!
So I’ll say it again, dude is awesome. I just got a filing replaced and a HUGE crack in my tooth repaired and my tooth looks perfect.
AND
He said I didn’t need my wisdom teeth out and didn’t try to sell a bunch of extra services! He’s got my trust, totally.
And Unilocal,don’t filter me, I’m a real person and a real patient!

Best Dentist Ever! Dr. Marks has extreme attention to detail where most dentists nowadays do not. It is VERY hard to find the quality of work Dr. Marks has anywhere else. I know because I tried when I moved out of state for a few years and was forced to find a new dentist. As soon as I moved back, I called Dr. Marks right away. He does NOT do any unnecessary work and/​or overcharge his patients. He’s your tooth’s advocate & always tries to save them, and usually can. For me, it was important to find a dentist that could help me through the insurance craziness and still do quality work on my teeth. Kim, the office manager, is extremely knowledgeable & helpful when it comes to insurance so I never have to worry about a thing. They were even able to work with me when I had no insurance. I have always been able to get flexible appointments as well. I feel EXTREMELY lucky to have found an office with such highly skilled professionals. I recommend Dr. Marks to everyone!
