Please beware. We had the unfortunate experience of doing business with Louise and she has taken us for a significant amount of money.
I wish I would have checked Unilocal before hiring her to decorate our house.
She demands money upfront under the guise of needing to go «shopping» for you and she has to pre-​pay or put down deposits on items she is getting for you. It’s a scam. She will never produce those items and will keep stringing you along by telling you that, «oh, the furniture is being made or that she is waiting for it to be shipped or she can’t get her guys together to help her load and unload the furniture.» All the while, asking you for another check to go do more shopping. The excuses go on and on. My favorite was the sudden blood clot she developed the other day and had to reschedule. She’s not coming back.
You will realize sooner or later that she has no intention of ever coming back.
I don’t understand why Louise Moody is not in jail at this point for straight-​up fraud.
The #1 lesson we learned … Get a contract! (we didn’t) and, #2 — Do NOT PRE-​PAY for anything!

Louise stole from us too! We were awarded a judgment for the $ 27,000 she stole from us but have yet to receive any funds. She is not in jail! Similar to her other exploits, she demanded money upfront for furniture then failed to deliver the goods and kept all our money. She even wrote a fake check one day for the money owed, but of course we weren’t able to cash it. This women can not be trusted. If you come across her in need of a designer, run the other way!

Terrible. Straight up stole my money. Louise asked me to prepay for items we ordered. However she never ordered the items and never returned my money (a significant amount, btw). And she did the same to other too, people who I’ve talked to directly. Stay far far away. Louise and anyone who works with her are straight up scam artists.
