When it came time for me to get married, I knew that THE most important aspect of the wedding was the photography… this is the only part of the wedding that one has FOREVER (besides the marriage itself!) I didn’t want a photographer that was «sterile» and took the typical cookie-​cutter pictures. I wanted somebody to capture the essence of me, my groom and my event. I found this in Tracie. The moment I saw her work, I knew she was the right photographer for me.
Tracie initially took my engagement photos, and even suggested the site (and attire) ensuring our photos were perfect. They turned out so spectacular, I ended up using one as the background of our wedding invitations. I used a different one as our wedding announcement.
Tracie then recommended to me taking «sexy» shots as a surprise for my soon-​to-​be husband. I wasn’t to thrilled with the idea (what woman feels 100% great with their body and wants it captured on print?) Well, Tracie convinced me and made me feel totally as ease and comfortable with these shots. All were done tastefully, and to tell the truth when I saw them, I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Now I was excited to give this «wedding gift» to my hubby. He LOVED, and still loves them.
The day of our wedding, I couldn’t have gotten better service. Tracie came to my hotel suite in Huntington Beach to take pictures before the wedding of me and my daughter. We had lots of time to enjoy taking different shots, in and around the hotel. From there, Tracie went to Laguna to the wedding site and took pictures of my groom.
Our wedding ended up being delayed nearly an hour, as my one sons went to the wrong location (knucklehead!) Tracie even ended up being the one to CALMY talk to my son and give him directions to the wedding locale, as well as to keep me calm during this snafu! From the wedding, Tracie drove back to Huntington Beach to photograph the reception. She captured all the shots that I wanted (and we discussed in advance to ensure those my husband and I wanted were taken) I couldn’t have been happier with the pictures, and will forever cherish them. Our favorite is blown up, framed and proudly displayed in our home for all to enjoy.
Well, my experience with Tracie doesn’t end here… several years later, our adult son was getting married. I hired Tracie to shoot my sons wedding, which was a destination wedding. She was so amazing during this trip, and my son and wife LOVED her work.
But, it doesn’t end here…
Next my grandson was born. There was NOBODY else I would want to capture this precious little boy via photography. Tracie took THE MOST amazing and unique shots. I show them off to everybody I can (yes, I am a typical grandmother boasting that her grandchild is the best, but I boast more about the pictures taken by Tracie)
Well… the story will continue, as my granddaughter is due in a couple of months. I can’t wait to see what amazing images Tracie gets of our new little princess.

I asked Tracie to create photographs as a 20^th wedding anniversary gift and I am ecstatic with the results! She was able to produce beautiful, creative and elegant images that reflected who I am while conveying the mood and emotions I wanted to express. She was able to do that in spite of my own awkwardness and inability to describe what I wanted, and it still felt like a partnership. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the photos and know it was due to Tracie’s talent that made me look so amazing in them. She was also extremely patient and I had great fun working with her. I have already asked her to shoot our family portrait this summer.

When my husband and I first got engaged, the 1 thing my husband said that he cared about was photographer. He said you can do whatever you would like, pick whatever you would like, but I would like a say in what photographer we pick. We interviewed quite a few. My husband is very picky when it comes to photography as that is one of the things he loves to do, take pictures. He was looking for someone with a good eye, unique, different. Not the same photographers that take the same poesy poesy pictures, etc… The ones we interviewed were not what we were looking for. I started to look into flicker photos and came across Tracie Taylor. I showed my husband and he was really impressed. I fell in love with her work. We set up an appointment to meet with her. We clicked right away and we were so impressed. We knew that we wanted her to be the one to share our special day with us. We booked her immediately as I didn’t want anyone else to snatch her up. She did an engagement photo shoot with us 8 months before the wedding. The photos are awesome, they were different, they were exactly what we wanted and were «US». She also did a boudoir photo shoot a few months before the wedding. It was completely out of my element but she convinced me to do one for my husband. I ended up being really happy I did one. She created a book for me to give to my husband the day of the wedding «His Eyes Only». Lets just say that my husband was in LOVE with the book and couldn’t keep his eyes off of it. He was super happy I did something that I normally wouldn’t do. The day of the wedding, Tracie was on time and had some people there to help her. They were all super nice and welcoming. One of them was her sister. Her and her sister were lifesavers to me as my own sister stressed me out the day of the wedding and went missing a few times. I guess you could say that they both were my maid of honors at sometime the day of the wedding and were happy they were there to help me :-) The wedding party felt so comfortable around Tracie. She is every easy going and listened to exactly what we wanted. We are so happy she shared our special day with us and was able to photograph such a special moment in our time. We loved every photo she took. It was so hard to pick them for our wedding album as there were so many and they were all too good. We wouldn’t changed who we picked for the world. Now almost 2 years later of being married, I am pregnant with our 1^st. I would like to do a maternity shoot as well as newborn photos. The only person I would have do this is TRACIE TAYLOR!!!
When we first went into this you think it’s just a photographer that your picking but its more than that. Tracie now has become such a part of our lives and shared in special moments with us that she now is family to us. Not only did we find a photographer but we found a friend that we will have for a lifetime. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get family portraits, weddings, maternity, newborns done… You name it, she can do anything. You will not be disappointed and will be super pleased. I know that we weren’t. Her work is phenomenal. I am so looking forward to see what she does with the next photo shoots with us and our new little bundle of joy on the way.

Traci is not only an extremely talented photographer, but a kind, honest, professional and respectful person. I had my PR shots done by her and they are stunning. Her work is amazing and the whole experience was fun and easy. I’d recommend her to anyone who wants to capture their spirit. In addition, I have many friends who have used Traci to photograph their families and special occasions and they all rave about her. I can’t wait to work with her again.

Tracie Taylor is the most incredible photographer I’ve worked with. I am an aspiring photographer with a lot to learn, and seeing Tracie work with her clients and anyone she involves herself with is truly a rewarding experience. As a formal client of hers, I noticed she fully dedicates herself to her work to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the photos you get. I recommend Tracie to ANYONE looking to get professional quality pictures that will last a lifetime.

Thank you Tracie! Her photos captured our daughters wedding beautifully! I am laughing and crying while watching the slide show! She has a true gift and we are very pleased with the photos! Not only did she agree to fly to Omaha Nebraska in MARCH (30 degrees!) but she and Mike shot photos even when we did not think they would be!

If you are looking for boring Olan Mills type– pose– here shots, she can do those too with style and grace but let her do her thing and just enjoy the result! If you are lucky enough to get on her schedule… do it!

I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Tracie Taylor Photography! She is unorganized. Never took any groom with the brides family, and no bride with the grooms family. ! I was so upset when i realized that i had none of those important photos and i could never go back and recapture that moment. Very disrespectful of her clients! i would never recommend her to anyone, even someone i didn’t like, because your wedding should never be turned into a mockery just for the benefit of a photographers personal website.

Tracie was great to work with and the photos were amazing! Now I have memories to treasure forever!
