Our business was founded in 2010 when we decided to address the needs of traveling road cycling enthusiasts. Being road cyclists ourselves, we understand the difficulty and cost of traveling with a bicycle and the anxiety of not knowing whether the airlines will get your bike to your destination in one piece.

We offer high-​end road bicycle rentals that are comparable to the bikes our customers are accustomed to riding, and we work with the customer to ensure the best possible fit. Then, we deliver it directly to you wherever you’re staying!

Joe, the founder of Synaptic Cycles, has been an avid cyclist for over 25 years, participating in numerous cycling events before getting bitten by the endurance cycling bug. Since that point, he has gone on to finish multiple double century bike rides (200 miles in one day) and has earned the California Triple Crown award for finishing three California double centuries in one calendar year multiple times.
