Jeff Shaffer Plumbing

Last week while taking a shower, the control handle literally broke off in my hand with the hot water still running! YEKES! I was able to turn off the water for the house and called Jeff on a Saturday. Within an hour his son Tyree was at our home and had the part to fix it.

Tyree from Jeff Shaffer Plumbing came out to our dental practice because we had a clogged kitchen sink. This clog could have been due to our garbage disposal needing to be replaced, or because the pipe was clogged. Tyree had the drain unclogged in no time at all. He was very professional, polite and competent. I would highly recommend Jeff Shaffer Plumbing to anyone looking for an AWESOME plumber.

Jeff was easy to work with, came to the house and quoted the termination of some unwanted water lines to an old wet bar.
They were on time, polite and professional. The best part was that the work was completed under the quoted amount it was not to exceed by $ 150 dollars. I will use Jeff again.

Jeff Shaffer Plumbing has been great for us the two separate times they have come out. The owner, Jeff has always returned our calls promptly, even on the weekends! Ty has done our work both times and has done a great job! He is polite and listens to your needs and will give solutions that hopefully fit your budget and solves the problem. I would highly recommend them!

An outdated toilet stopped working on New Year’s Eve. I called Jeff Shaffer Plumbing on New Year’s Day and received a pleasanat and courteous return phone call within 2 hours. An appointment was scheduled for the next day and the delightful son of the owner, Tyree, showed up right on time, assessed the problem, telephoned his dad for a price quote (very reasonable) and made the repairs within 45-​minutes Not only will I use Jeff Shaffer Plumbing for my future plumbing problems as well as some plumbing projects I have planned, but also I will refer my friends.

Super friendly and personable. Very cool and laid-​back guys. They even came on Columbus Day, which was the day we called them. We had Nate and I can’t remember the other fellow’s name. We originally called for a toilet clog and they noticed we also had our shower and sink clogged too, so they fixed those as well! Apparently my stepdad has been going to them for years and I can see why!

We called Jeff with for a leak in our Ceiling. He came on time to our appointment and diagnosed the problem immediately.
Jeff was very professional and also snaked out our drains.

Five projects and counting!
I will start by saying that my husband is very talented and handy, and can do pretty much all of what we have hired Jeff & Co to do. But like with everybody I know, time is the one commodity we don’t have enough of. He also has a very critical eye and a stickler for details. He wants things completed at a high level or not at all. If they are not done to his level, he will have you back until it is done right and will stand over your shoulder if he has to. Through this renovation, there are very few companies we would recommend to anyone. In fact, I can count them on less than one hand. Jeff & Co is one of those few I would feel comfortable putting my name behind and handing a friend, colleague, or my mother their business card.
All that said…
My husband and I recently bought a money pit… er… house and, somewhat unfortunately for us, we have needed their services more than we hoped. But luckily for us, we have had Jeff and Crew each time to save our proverbial butts.
First, there were several problems with the repipe job another company did that Jeff and crew had to fix. Nothing like having to fix a problem you didn’t create, eh? We needed an expansion tank installed to pass inspection. The repipe company want $ 600 to install (incl parts and labor), these guys came in at a much more reasonable price. There were other odds and ends Jeff did to complete out that job. He was always professional and was thoughtful in his suggestions and with any solutions he brought to the table.
Next we had him back to move the water line for the ice maker.
Third– We needed them back because the kitchen sink clogged up because some genius worker we had in the house rinsed plaster dust (or something of the like) down the sink! We called them in the evening and they were able to adjust their schedule and were able to fix the issue the follow morning! It was during this visit my husband met Ty, Jeff’s protégé and heir-​apparent. When I got home my husband, dare I say, actually gushed about how respective and polite Ty was.
After that, we had them back to do the shower, valve, and drain install for our powder room. It was now my turn to meet Ty, and I must admit: My Husband Was Right. (I can’t believe I just wrote that) Now, as I said before, Jeff is a very nice man, and I can tell you the apple did not fall far from the tree with Ty! Ty is one of the nicest guys I have met in a long time. I have a sister around his age, and if there were more like him in his generation, the rest of us could breathe a sigh of relief. Alas, there is not.
Now, finally, we are at the present task at hand. Currently, Ty (and Jeff briefly) is back and is working away at our new laundry and utility rooms. Moving pipes and drains, and creating a mud area for us. Things are progressing and I can’t wait to see how things turn out.
Once this project is done, we have two more to complete: the Master and secondary bathrooms. You can bet it will be Jeff & Co we call. As for the unforeseen events we encounter along the way, like a clogged sink at Thanksgiving or my son attempting to flush a 12-​pak of TP down the toilet, they will be our first call.

Very pleased with Jeff Shaffer Plumbing. Nate showed up to my house on time and ready to help. He went above and beyond, going to the nearby hardware store to pick up the specific turn valve my wife requested. It was an easy job, new nozzle for an outside hose, but the job was clean and quick. Nate was very friendly and very respectful.
I will definitely use Jeff Shaffer plumbing in the future, it is nice to finally have a good plumber that won’t overcharge.

The worst EVER plumbing company I have ever experienced. They installed 2 faucets in my master bathroom and both were leaking; they charged me and extra $ 125. on top of the $ 400 quoted for the faucets I had already purchase for fixtures at home depot. Not only did the faucet leak, Shaffer Plumbing came back and would not give me the time of day to fix the problem. Told me I had to contact Kohler. Walked out without a care in the world because I had already paid them WAY to much for their incompetent service. NEVER use this horrible company… you will be taken to the cleaners and left with a mess.

Jeff Shaffer plumbing is a local, family owned and operated business providing professional, prompt service. They fixed my problem quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price. They even suggested ways to save us money on the repairs and checked our pressure gauge to make sure it was okay. I would certainly use them again.

All I can say is, «WOW»! A large 3 day job wetn amazingly smooth thanks to Jeff and his crew. On time every day, neat and tidy and extremely hard working. All four plumbers went the extra mile to do it right. Jeff acted like he was working on his own home. Will not hesitate to call them back for the bath remodel. They were like having family over, all that and great pricing too– no nickel and dime stuff with this man. A+++++. Thank you!

We are so very pleased with our choice in Jeff. He called me back in less than 20 min and was able to come over the very next morning. He was on time, pleasant and very helpful. I can’t say enough good things about him. Defiantly would use him again in a heart beat!
