Mr. Potts is the category creator of this industry, meaning he created a product that was the first of its kind. That’s right — he invented the first synthetic turf that looks life-​like and behaves like real grass. He is also the inventor of the modern synthetic putting green.

Denis Weber has been in sales and marketing for 40+ years. Prior to that, Mr. Weber spent many years in higher education, receiving a Bachelors in Business a Bachelors in Economics, and his MBA in Business.

Every year of his life since graduate school, Mr. Weber has worked for major corporations in marketing and sales. He also owned his own retail and wholesale business specializing in fine shoes, clothing, and jewelry, with Nordstrom as his largest client.

He was excited started a new business, Gorilla Grass, in 2003 after coming out of semi-​retirement. The new industry is what excited him the most since it was something fresh and new.
