Excellent discount department store with do many great deals. Everything is on sale. The clerks are nice and helpful. The inventory is huge, but changes frequently. Love this place.

If you go to dameariscotta, you must go to to here. What a fun store! Bargains galore and just like a fun old department store from when I was a kid. Great prices, selection and a wonderful group of people working there. Great shoe department, selection is large. The store is impeccable clean. just do it!

It has bargains but be prepared — they refuse to put women’s clothing on the main level so you have to go up a crickety staircase where the women’s clothing is crammed into a space with children’s and teens. If you are patient and hunt, you can find good sale prices. Make sure you are not getting seconds on appliances and such tho. Their return policy is first rate — the best in the state of Maine. So if you are not happy, you can bring something back without feeling hassled. The manager is very helpful as are most associates.

The new store is great! Larger, cleaner looking & more/better merchandise. Staff always friendly & helpful. Never had any issues when needing to return items, etc. Great location.

They have some great deals, but this location is a bit small. This location has clothes while the Reny’s Underground across the street has everything else.

The original Reny’s is in the teeny town of Damariscotta, diagonally across from Reny’s Underground — a huge store full of anything gadget-y and plastic-y you could ever need. Reny’s Department Store, though, ONLY holds clothing. Clothing, clothing, and more clothing. The entire first floor boasts awesome outdoor mens wear — Rugged, lots of plaid, totally ME sexy. Upstairs, you have womens, teens, and childrens clothing — some good, some not so good. Columbia, Lands End, LL Bean, you name it — if you need something to wear on a hike, they have it. I even saw a full suit made out of umbrella material. In bright orange. I got a fleece from LL Bean for $ 12, and a totally awesome rain proof hoodie for $ 24. Completed my ME experience for a fraction of the cost.
