History

Established in 1988.

Michael began Interior Painting in 1988, in 1995 his wife Laura joined him in the company. Michael’s specialties include Woodgraining, Marbleizing, Custom Interior painting, Wallcovering Installation, Tromp l’oeil, Murals and Venetian Plaster. Laura’s specialties include Color Consultation, Wall Finishes, Gilding, Furniture Finishes. Michael and Laura’s combined experience of 32 years in the Decorative Painting field, offers you the client, the opportunity to see your imagination come to life.

Business Owner

Michael started the business in 1988 doing interior painting. In 1993 he attended The Paperhanging Institute in New Jersey. This 2 month course was over 350 hours of installing most wallcoverings made. In 1995 he expanded to include decorative painting, his wife Laura joined him in the company.

Michael and Laura have studied under some of the most respected artists in the world, such as: JoAnne Day, George Zaffle, Bill Holgate, Pierre le Fumat, Mike Mac Neil, Nicola Vigini, Pierre Finkelestein, Gale Laurence and in France under Yannick Guegan for several months.

Michael’s specialties include Woodgraining, Marbleizing, Custom Interior painting, Wallcovering Installation, Tromp l’oeil, Murals and Decorative Plasters. Laura’s specialties include Color Consultation, Wall Finishes, Gilding, Furniture Finishes and Stenciling.

Their Studio also offers classes in Decorative Painting such as Woodgraining, Marbleizing, Faux Finishes, Color and more.
