Took my Yukon in to get smoged, paid 70 dollars to have the guy tell me my cats were illegal. They are after market but 50 state legal. Glanced at my vehicle and sent me on my way with a failed VISUAL TEST while he put the cash in his back pocket. Total time my car was in his possession was 7 min… extremely shady practices. I feel completely ripped off. Oh and by the way my car passed smog 2 days later at another shop with the same cats on it…
BUT I’ve been here with a completely stock car and had no problems with another tech.

Really quick, I had time to do this on my lunch break and still go to Target. There was 1 car in front of me, and I was only there for about 25 minutes. $ 68

So far so good. I try to go down the street at Quality auto and they had a 6 car wait list for the smog. He told me to Come back at 2pm. No way! I remember this place from the other day and saw the smog test only signs. So I decided to try its a $ 60 fee and no wait. Let’s hope I pass or he gets 3 stars.
