Rescue With CPR

I recently had my ACLS/​BLS classes with George! I highly recommend it to all medical field staffs! #1 George is a very knowledgable instructor, every content he taught through out the course was so easy to understand and I will never forget! #2 George accommodated my schedule when I told him my ACLS/​BLS were going to expire in a few days, he replied to me right away and scheduled me for the next two days class after I called. #3 I never feel bored during the few hours class, he is so funny and taught us tricks to remember all contents. I will definitely go back! #4 Very reasonable price! Go for it, you will be an expert in the code blue situation!

This was the best class ever and I would definitely recommend it. I took and ACLS and BLS class with George. He is an awesome instructor with a wealth of knowledge and has an ease in the way he communicates the concepts in practical way. George kind, friendly, funny, keeps the class engaged, and easy to learn from. There’s a real one on one feeling, very personal where you don’t feel like you’re lost in a very large class.
I was expecting a long 8 hour class of watching videos but he made the class a hands on and practical experience. loved it!
I made the appointment with George and he was flexible with the time schedule which was great. An added advantage was that there is parking at the back of the building and the equipment are in great shape.

George is a very friendly, kind, and knowledgable instructor. I took ACLS and BLS from him and was definitely impressed with his wealth of knowledge and ability to communicate the core concepts in a practical, meaningful way. If you are looking for a place to learn and utilize the knowledge that is most important for saving a person’s life; I definitely recommend this place. Remember to always check your patient first. machines aren’t always accurate

George was an exceptional instructor! Not only, did he accommodated me on my last minute schedule for my BLS and ACLS renewal. But, George is also very knowledgeable, experienced, patient and has a great sense of humor. George is a breath of fresh air compared to my experiences from other places I have gotten my certification from, including, my own hospital. With his years of experience as an ICU nurse and educator he was able to simplify the reading materials (which took me weeks to read) to where I could have a better understand and relatable to my job. Classroom participation and hands on kinda of class but don’t worry its not nerve wrecking at all. It’s just like «teamwork» at your job! His small classroom size allowed the students to have more interaction with the instructor and more time on simulation activities such as doing accurate chest compressions and work the AED machine. His teaching style and methods had transcended me to become more confident ED nurse. I’m not shy in making suggestions on medications, tests and interventions when a patient come in with a Cardiac arrest anymore. I will definitely refer George to all my coworkers. And, as long as he continues to teach he can count on me on returning for all my re-​certifications. I’ve already scheduled my PALS re-​cert. with George next month!

Definitely recommended! I took the ACLS/​BLS class and was impressed. George is a wealth of knowledge, funny, and easy to learn from. Classroom is well organized and equipment is up to date. I learned about a few devices which can be used during a code which was cool.
Scheduling was easy and quick. Parking can be an in issue at times so leave some time for that. Do not be late or else George will pick on you! (Yes that would be me!)
This was the best ACLS class i have taken. The emphasis on doing the best compressions for a favorable outcome really stuck with me. I will most certainly be taking my classes here in the future and will tell my nursing and RT buddies about this place.

The best class ever… I took both ACLS/​BLS recertification and I was very impressed with George who made the class so easy to understand but yet covering all important topics. George is very knowledgeable, thorough and practically involves everyone in the group, and made sure everyone is on the same page. I would definitely go back to this place with George as my instructor.

This was my first time taking a CPR/​First Aid class and it was great. The instructor, Joan, was very insightful and engaging, and absolutely hilarious. She told you what you needed to know and at the end of it– you would get your certification. Highly recommend taking her classes. Its at a good price and great environment.

I needed to squeeze in my CPR certification and sure enough, George did everything in his power to accommodate me with a day or twos notice. I got the sense straight off the bat that he’s a stand up guy who knows his material. Anyways, excellent experience and I told all my colleagues at USF this was the place to go for a fast, affordable and content rich CPR experience. George puts everything into his work. He’s an ICU nurse so he really gets it an wants to make sure you walk away the same. I will be coming back when I graduate with my RN to take his other courses!

Amazing training, George is very knowledgeable about every situation that you can be in. I got my BLS license through them. Ask any question, for any situation they will provide the answer. George is an amazing teacher, and i would ask for highly recommend him as your teacher. As a medical Tech I would highly recommend Rescue with CPR.

This class is the best. I took a recert BLS and ACLS class. Great review and followed up with a megacode. George is an excellent teacher who does not rely on the videos for all the teaching information, he really understands the content and backs up his explanations with underlying physiology. It’s obvious he’s an experienced practitioner who wants you to retain the info.
He is really engaging and provides a gentle guidance which was just what I needed to succeed.
I recommend Rescue with CPR, specifically with George to anyone who needs AHA classes.
It was easy to find a class time that works in my schedule. Very accommodating and professional!

I highly recommend this BLS/​ACLS course for many reasons:
1.) Extremely accommodating to your busy schedule. I needed to renew my BLS asap in order to attain privileges in a hospital. George sensed the urgency and was able to help certify me in the following few days. Due to his accommodation, I was able to meet my deadline.
2.) Quick response. I received a response from him within the first thirty minutes of my request.
3.) Easily accessible. Living in San Francisco was not an issue, because the office is located near major freeways. I was able to get there in less than 15 minutes. Parking was not a problem for me either.
4.) Finally, George Khoury. Having worked in the medical field for several years, I have taken my fair share of CPR courses near and far. However, my learning experience from George was extraordinary. He makes CPR class fun and interactive, but also relatable to daily life. He is extremely passionate about teaching, and genuinely cares that you learn. I have to mention that he is extremely hilarious. This is not your typical dry and boring class. The time flew, and I would highly recommend all my fellow health care professionals to renew or certify with him.

I took the BLS-​CPR course here recently with George and had a fantastic experience! I was honestly dreading an expected 5 hour course with boring videos, but I was so wrong!!! George was an amazing instructor who knew his information and also kept the class fun! I made an appointment earlier on the website by calling in and it was very simple. The class was also at a low-​cost for students for only $ 55, which includes the course and the card that states you are CPR-​certified.
I learned a lot from this course and George taught the course really well! It was engaging, realistic and all the equipment used were clean and up-​to-​date. This class was organized and I felt like I will retain a lot of the information that I’ve learned from George. He is also funny and down-​to-​earth and makes the class fun, so that was definitely a plus! I enjoyed this course and would recommend George to anyone who is trying to take a BLS-​CPR course or getting their CPR certification renewed. By the end of the course, you’ll take a test on paper and after you pass, you are good to go. He prints the AHA card for you and you are done. Thank you George again for a great course!
Parking — do not park on the main street because I believe there are meters/​time limits, but the side residential streets are free!

I took this class a few months ago and George is an amazing teacher! He is professional, timely, and respected by those who meet him because he teaches very well. One of the best teachers I have had for BLS CPR. He made the whole class engaging and understandable to both hospital and outdoor situations.
His training with CPR goes beyond the dummies and listening to his stories and experiences within the hospital made me more confident in him as a teacher. He made the class fly by with his sense of humor during the training session.
I will be sure to come back for recertification with him and to take his ACLS and any other class he offers.

I just recently took my BLS– CPR class from George. He’s a great instructor. I would have to say that I have learned the most from this class than all my previous CPR classes. Well explained, shares helpful experiences and he made the class enjoyable to learn. The place was clean and organized. I highly recommend this place especially George Khoury for ACLS or BLS instructor.

I took my ACLS class two weeks ago with a group of RNs from cpmc. It was a great refresher and we had lots of fun. I felt motivated to go back to work and save lives. George mentors you and gives you the tools you need to survive. As bad as this sounds I wanted someone to code the next day to practice, but it didn’t happen until last night. I was on top of things, called a code and immediate compressions. Saved a mothers life with the help of the team of course. Thank you George for being such a great mentor.
Did I mention he gave us a group discount and we did the BLS challenge I renew both at the same time. See you in 2 years.

Among the places I’ve come across to take a CPR/​BLS course, George was the best and most affordable person to go to for my poor student status.
I renewed my BLS certification with George at the Mission address listed on this page around mid-​June. He is a great person and informative instructor. His BLS course was more interactive, concise, and, dare I say, fun than my past renewals. He is not intimidating at all and answers questions you may have.
SCHEDULING: Best to call and leave a message with your intention and contact info. I had emailed and called and calling is definitely more efficient since he called me back within a day. He does not have set classroom course dates like most instructors. He is flexible and schedules one-​on-​one (or if you have friends or co-​workers, a group session) according to whatever works with your and his free time. According to the website and other reviews, it seems he can teach at locations other than the one listed above so ask him about that if location may be an issue.
PRICE: As a student, I paid $ 55. Since the website is down, I cannot confirm the regular, non-​student cost but I think it is $ 70 and he offers a discount for groups of 5+ individuals. I don’t know if or when prices may change so confirm with him before attending his class so you know how much to bring.
All in all, I highly recommend George and I hope he will still be in the area and teaching BLS when I need to renew my card in two years!
