I have dealt with many contractors over the years and these guys are very good. This is the third time I have used this company and all I can say is «what more can you ask for?»
Punctual, reliable, they are very professional, do excellent work, very clean and are trustworthy.
Call Paragon first, you will not be disappointed.

Reality check!
I am sorry but there needs to be facts about this company and Laurence.
I saw all five stars rating from Unilocal,so I picked Laurence to do a major renovation project. He also gave us a very low estimate. So I thought I got the best of both worlds. Huge mistake!
He used inferior materials, he cut corners, and his crew were untrained and did a very spotty job. He and his crew were constantly falling behind the deadlines. They were constantly making mistakes. He actually made us paid for these mistakes. The end results were rather pathetic. I am so worried that everything that he and his crew had done will fall apart any day now.
I told Laurence about the mistakes, but he only blamed it on the «house». We had a thorough home inspection before starting the renovation and everything was fine, just needed an updating. How is this the fault of the «house» when it was fine before!
He was not be willing to correct any of his mistakes without extra and expensive charges. He just moved on to his next job and his next victim.
With Laurence and his company, you get what you pay for!

I just wanted to respond to jon L’s review. We’ve hired Larry and Paragon Management now as our contractor for 3 different projects, and I’ve been consistently impressed with the quality of Larry’s work, the customer service, and the ability to deliver the project on time and under budget.

My wife and I found Laurence on Unilocal and the great reviews are well earned. Laurence completed a new sink install in a single day. Cutting and polishing our granite for the larger sink and making it look brand new. Laurence was very easy to work with and helped me out with another small problem free of charge even though I offered to pay. He is easy to work with and I felt I could trust his work from the start. Now I’m sure of it. I would certainly go to him again for more work and will do so very soon.
I’ll echo other reviews in saying he provided a competitive bid and was willing/​able to answer all the questions we had.

I first met Larry sometime in August last year. He remodeled the kitchen and installed patio doors on my friend’s house. I was impressed with the work that he and his crew did. In addition, my friend said that he’s honest and his pricing is fair. So when I needed a bathroom door and a patio door installed on my home, I hired him to do the job. It took him and his guys a few days to complete the work. I’m satisfied with what they did, and I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future. I highly recommend Larry to anyone who needs the services of a general contractor.

First, one thing I’d like to correct on Unilocal is that, when asked, he prefers to be called Laurence.
As first time home buyers, we noticed quickly after moving in that we had water damage issues with both the kitchen and bathroom. We decided a remodel of both was necessary.
We found Paragon on Unilocal.Out of 4 estimates, Laurence’s was the lowest by a significant margin, but he was also the most knowledgeable in his ability to answer my questions and provide suggestions. The project pretty much covered all facets of construction and Laurence was well versed in local codes regarding everything. This and the overwhelmingly positive Unilocal comments made Paragon the clear choice.
The workmanship was so good. I was present for most of it. Whenever there was a choice about how the work could be done, I was presented with the options and recommendations. All workers were professional and friendly and happy to answer any questions I had (which was often). They never shied away from doing extra work to make the job better, and in several cases Laurence provided extra materials at no cost to me to improve the project. Over the course of the project there were many small details changed, usually resulting in more work for them, and Laurence never once revised the contract, even when I offered. The only surprise on the final invoice (which included materials he picked up for me) was that it was actually less than my rough estimates.
Paragon was working on several projects at the time of ours, as can be expected from any good contractor. Our time frame slipped a little bit, but not unreasonably so. I feel this says even more about the quality of their work. They never went more than one day without showing up to do something, and they never seemed to hurry or cut corners. They also sometimes worked on weekends and holidays. There was a Saturday when they were here until 7pm.
In summary I cannot recommend Paragon enough. I could not have asked for a better experience. The end result is beautiful and works perfectly. In agreement with other reviews, this is one HONEST operation. One of them left a snickers bar behind (it actually sat in the garage for weeks and nobody claimed it) which I am enjoying now as I write the final check.

I would definitely work with Larry and his team again. We needed a wall removed to combine two rooms in our office building. I gathered several quotes, and Larry’s was the most reasonable in terms of time frame and price. He completed the job on time and left the area very neat and tidy. We have a area of carpet that needs to be replaced where the wall used to be, and Larry offered to come back and reinstall the baseboard after the carpet was replaced for free. He was very professional and straightforward. I have already recommended him to a few of my friends, and we’ll be calling him again if we need any other work done.

Nightmare:
Waking up after a night of wind & rain to a puddle of water in the corner of the kitchen floor. Scan up, see old, now unused vent from previous gas stove drip, drip, dripping from the ceiling.
Remember that we are no longer renters and can’t just call the landlord and be done with it.
Panic.
Dreams of fluffy bunnies & yellow flowers:
Call Larry, whom we’d just consulted regarding other minor repairs. The rain stopped that day, so Larry zipped over same day while we were at work, climbed up on top of our roof and determined that not only is our roof in impeccable shape, but that the leak was a very simple fix: change out the vent stacks on top to be «high wind» tolerant.
Sigh.
Dark chocolates, & sparkling alpine lakes:
All told, we’ve had Larry power wash our outside stairs & reseal them, replace a strip of wood outside of a window, & replace those vent covers on the roof. Throughout the process, Larry appeared quite knowledgeable & offered fair prices. Furthermore, he dissuaded us from other repairs after investigating and finding them unwarranted.
May your dreams be filled with bunnies and flowers and chocolates and beautiful lakes.

Larry just completed his third job for us and I could not be happier. He is the most detail oriented, fair, honest and capable person I ever could have hoped for. He really went the extra mile to make my new clinic space look beautiful. He even called me to bring things to my attention that I never would have thought of to see if I would like him to do them for me. I really appreciate his careful work and thoughtful work ethic.

I actually found these guys on Unilocal,so I definitely want to add my «thumbs up» for Larry! I had to rip up the flooring in the store I just opened, and needed some help determining exactly how to go about it on a limited budget. Larry was really helpful and honest — not the type of guy to tell you to get more than you need just to make a buck. In fact, his prices are really reasonable. He did a great job, and also helped my paint my ceiling (after we chuckled about my solo attempt to paint everything). I would recommend Larry in a heartbeat.

Wow!
I’m so impressed.
Larry was hired by the building to replace the funky carpeted hallways in the corridors and also to power wash, stain, and refinish the deck off both of our bedrooms. Larry and his crew were always friendly and smiling while hard at work. The crew was so nice they even carted my groceries out of the elevator when I came home early one afternoon and they were finishing up the slate floors. They have done an excellent job. Very efficient high quality work. I hardly heard a peep while they were in the building. Hire Larry at Paragon Management Consulting for your next project-​even if it’s a simple one. You won’t be disappointed.. .
