If your looking for a good dentist who can do a good job and takes pride in his work; Dr. Rey is the one to see. He is knowledgeable, skillful, and can actually make you feel like you are not in a dental clinic.
For those of you who have a high PHOBIA rate in visiting a dentist; I highly recommend you to pay Dr. Rey a visit. He is very subtle, gentle, and by the time you know it, all is taken care of and you are good to go.
A UCSF dentistry graduate, and also a part time teacher/​evaluator at the school campus is enough to tell you why Dr. Rey is a very skeptical dentist who is always striving for perfection for all his patients.
Dr. Rey has been my family dentist for the past 25 years and without his services, our smiles would not be as good as how they are right now.

I am super super picky about dentists. They must have good bedside manners, be thorough, be nice, and much more ^_​^ Dr. Ortiz is by far the gentlest dentist I’ve ever been to — he is also very thorough. I know the work he’s done on my teeth is of high caliber. For the first time ever, I actually fell asleep at a dentist’s office — this was while he was cleaning out and fixing my fillings (no laughing gas.) I highly recommend Dr. Ortiz to anyone who is looking for a very good, competent, and gentle dentist who will make your dental visits seem like you’re going to the spa.

I have been going to Dr. Ortiz for about 10 years. He is by far the best dentist I have ever had. He is extremely gentle. I have never felt any more than the briefest twinge of pain. He is a very calm, relaxed and easy-​going person, so every experience is remarkably stress-​free.
I can’t recommend him highly enough.
