I’ll change it to 3-stars because they did offer me my money back. However, the«ham» is so cheap it tastes like bologna.

I went on a spontaneous trip here today. I ordered the Tom Tom. It’s number 4 on their menu. It has turkey, bacon, and Swiss cheese along with the condiments(tomato, lettuce, pesto sauce, etc) on Dutch crunch bread. I waited over about 5 minutes for them to make it. I got some Dirty Smoked BBQ Gourmet Cut chips to add with the sandwich. I must say, the sandwich was amazing! There’s so much flavor going on. You’re dealing with a lot of meat inside. The pesto sauce is the cherry on top. All in all, great sandwich place. I will come here again. Need not to mention, I spent $ 12 something including the chips. For a sandwich here that is definitely worth it!

Absolutely amazing sandwiches! Staff makes sandwiches to order using wonderful fresh ingredients. Seating is available inside or outside. Staff is friendly and there is a large selection of chips to choose from. Pickles are nothing short of amazing. Can’t wait to go back again!

This little sandwich shop in Daly City is a great place to grab lunch! My friend and I stopped by one day during a break between classes and we really enjoyed the sandwiches! I got a chicken bacon and ranch on Dutch crunch and it was really good. Service was fast and the workers were nice.

I honestly do not know why anyone would rate this location bad at all! I’ve been to both Millbrae and this location and same amazing service, same great sandwiches! I took my fiancé to try them yesterday around noon and he fell in love ! He’s a tough critic too. The guys behind the counter are so friendly and provide such great service, if anything I’d say the girl at the register could put a little more of a smile on her face so that it’s more welcoming. Can’t wait to go again !

Jefferson Indian. Not too bad. Priced like Little Lucca’s, but 2⁄3 the size.

Well a little disappointed. They were out of breads and the wait for them to make the sandwiches took so long. Then when they called us they told us they were out of cheese. If we are going to pay$ 10 for a sandwich at least have all your condiments. No wonder I avoid these spots. Next time I’ll be going to the secret spots that give u bomb ass sandwiches. On decent bread. This bread taste old. It’s tough.

My boyfriend brought me to this place yesterday for the first time, and it was so good I found myself craving it again today! It is an order and seat yourself style place. The menu is on the wall, and if you are ordering a sandwich make sure to tell them which condiments you want or else they will put them all! I recommend #19 with pickles lettuce and tomato-perfection!

Bad customer service. First time here and will never come back!!! The sandwich girl was really rude. She talked shit saying people should know it takes more than a minute to make a fucking sandwich… I was like wow. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich. Everyone’s order came out before mine!!! The sandwiches are not good!!!

Good sandwich but not worth 45 min to an hour wait which has happened the last 3 times I went. Once, literally 8 people came after i ordered and got their food. appearntly my order got lost no apology or «hey this sandwich is on us» NOOOOOPE just a «whoops our bad can you wait another 15 mins»…used to be a big fan but now I’ll drive the extra 10 mins to little Luca, even if they are packed I’ve never waited more than 20 mins and the sandwiches are alot bigger. 1 star for mr. Pickles solely for their DCFD on Dutch crunch(BOMB). Hope you guys hire more staff or train the staff that you do have to be more time efficient. Maybe investing another sandwich oven wouldn’t hurt.

I’ve lived down the street from this place for years, and finally gave it a try today. I usually go to Little Lucca’s in SSF or Roxy’s for my sandwich fix. I have to say I’m quite impressed! I ordered the #18: turkey win cranberry sauce and cheddar cheese on Dutch crunch. I asked for the pesto sauce(which comes as a standard condiment on all sandwiches) on the side. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and the flavor was amazing. I like the good quality turkey that they used and they give you a whole lot of it too. I was more than satisfied with just half of the sandwich and I’ll have the rest for dinner. There’s about 5 tables to sit and two tv’s for entertainment. There’s abundant street parking directly in front and across the street. I’ll be back next time I’m craving a huge sandwic

Family and I ordered a round of sandwiches. For my own I ordered a their meatball on sweet roll. Instead it was made on sourdough. I am not a sourdough bread bleater by any stretch of the imagination so that oversight is disappointing. But at least the meatballs, cheese, and marinara sauce was good after I scrapped it from the bread. The family was happy with their order so two thirds of the order came out right. Unfortunately we do not live in Daly City and we took the food to go. On a positive note Mr. Pickles staff apologized and offered to make it right the next time I came by. So good of them to be nice about the matter. Give Mr. Pickles a try.

When I attended sfsu this was the aft sandwich spot. My roommate, friends, classmates etc always raved about the sandwiches. A lot of my friends are vegetarian, they absolutely loved the tofu that is unique from any other sandwich shop. My fav was always anything with chicken. Dutch crunch buffalo chicken is a must! I believe it’s called DCFD

Good thing is that there is alot of free parking on the street. The person taking my order was very friendly and helpful. The people making the sandwiches weren’t that nice and you can tell they hate their job. It’s pricey. A little over $ 10. Not too big and not too small. Got the Top Dog-pastrami, bacon, and swiss cheese. Nothing special and I couldn’t really taste the bacon. Won’t be coming back.

My family has owned a sandwich franchise for 11 years, and I’ve also worked there for its entirety. The number one thing I’ve learned from all those years is customer service. I’m sorry to say but this place does not have it. I rarely come across an establishment where the attitude of the staff(regardless of the quality of their goods/services) makes me not want to give them business. It probably has only happened one other time in my life. The guy behind the register must really hate his job or was having a bad day because I did not see a single facial expression from him that wasn’t pure disdain. I swear the attitude that exuded from him made me want to call his mother and tell her to hug him more because obviously someone missed their nap time. I try my hardest to not fault the staff but if you’re talking to my company like he’s an idiot and being short for no reason then I’ve got a problem. I’ve been on the other side of the counter before. I have dealt with every kind of customer you can imagine, yet I did it all with a smile. Let’s hope he works on that.

I went in with my girlfriend, and ordered a sandwich. The person making the sandwich put pesto on my sandwich. Not only do I not like pesto, but I can’t eat it. I took one bite, and was instantly grossed out. I brought the sandwich back to the counter and asked if they would please re-make my sandwich. They told me they could not do it. I then asked for a refund saying that I was not satisfied with the sandwich or the service that I received. They refused. They would rather give poor service and get bad reviews then make a customer happy. I will never go back, and I will warn everyone against going to the Daly city location.

Went here with my roommates about a month ago to get some lunch. They’re located right across from the Daly City DMV and the Daly City Police Station. A lot of the sandwiches are named after things related to Daly City and the surrounding area(like DCPD, DMV, Jefferson Indian, Westmoor Ram, SFSU Gators). Pros: + Relatively sizable parking lot nearby to park in + Excellent sandwiches(I ordered the Maui and it was flat-out delicious and very filling) + Friendly employees(most of whom are young people, like myself) Cons: — Wait time — in spite of the fact that four employees were working behind the counter and it wasn’t too busy, it took a while for my roommates and me to get our sandwiches — I can’t say that this is a regular occurrence, but there were a number of flies buzzing around while we were there. — Their hours are as follows: Mon-Fri: 10am-6pm, Sat: 11am-5pm and Sun: closed. So yeah, in my opinion, it would be better if they could be open longer and open on Sundays as well. 3 stars

After being a regular customer and giving these boys a challenge to mess with my taste buds(plus being pregnant) they know how to satisfy my belly! Tried a bite of the Phoenix one time that Sean(The creator) set up for my husband and it was delish! Never expected that~ Now I thank Keegan for making me a new personal(& fave) sandwich other than the #7 for making me a weird creation that simply got my taste buds asking for more(2 sandwiches put together, I wonder what he’ll name it) I’ll be bringing the post it of ingredients more often when my taste buds crave for it. These people are family friendly and know what to give you when you say you crave this and that, their recommendations are BOMBBBB! Service is great! Don’t forget to tip your sandwiches makers & grabbing one free lollipop for that sugar satisfaction on your way out!

I tried Mr. Pickles for the first time recently. They have lots of options(specialty sandwiches or make your own) and I ordered #19DCFD — chicken breast marinated in honey mustard with pepper jack cheese and avocado on dutch crunch. Service was courteous but it took almost 20 minutes to get our sandwiches. Also that day I think they burned bread in the toaster so it was really smoky and smelly inside. Thankfully, there were seats outside to wait. The sandwich was big so I ate only half first, and saved the other half for later. The dutch crunch bread was fresh and I could really taste the honey mustard flavor in the chicken. Unfortunately, there was just too much mayo which overpowered the sandwich. Plus for some reason, my sandwich was extremely messy and all the ingredients fell out as I was eating the sandwich so it was hard for me to enjoy. I saw lots of folks park(easy parking in the area), go in, and pick up their sandwiches so to avoid the wait, I’d take advantage of ordering ahead of time online or by phone.

I knew a cat named Mr. Pickles… And if he tried a sandwich from here, he’s say, «Meeeeeee-yooowwwummmmm» Every time I’ve driving around this area, I never had time to stop by and try this place out. But one day, I was free, and hell, why not. Pros: — There’s a bunch of parking nearby… but I would kinda consider this a con also considering the fact that backing up into the street where any incoming car could possibly hit you while backing up is no bueno. — Lots of different combinations of sandwiches. — They don’t skimp out on the ingredients, expect a big sandwich with loads of condiments poking out! — Chips and other bits offered here as well ~ — The staff is pretty vibrant. — They accept cash and card. — Sandwich is made fresh and nicely toasted. — Near the DMV if you need time to kill before a driving test haha. — Carnivore/Herbivore friendly options. Cons: — The parking is weird. — The place is small so not a lot of indoor seating. — A bit pricey for some sandwiches. — The place looks a little worn down. — Wait-time could be a bit long considering the place gets a bit busy during lunch hours. I ordered the Hipster on dutch crunch bread, which is basically a sandwich made of chicken breast, tomatoes, mayo, teriyaki sauce(what!?) peanut sauce(no way!?) pepperjack cheese, and sprouts. I normally opt away from onions, I don’t like em But that time I thought, eh, why not. I thought I chose something risky but when I tried it… It was just so. Good. MMM! I’m not too much of a fan of Little Lucca’s but this place might be good enough for me! It’s a hot mess and I love it. No RAGRETS!
