I checked out multiple martial arts schools in the area for my kids. This school stuck out to me because the instructors and masters gave me that «authentic» vibe. It’s not a school that rushes kids through the belts. They teach quality in forms and techniques… sometimes seem too picky, but precision and repetition is what leads to perfection. The instructors work really well with young kids and are also positive role models who instill respect, responsibility and leadership. So I pulled the trigger and enrolled myself and my boy. After a few months, I learned that the school has some national champs teaching. They are a humble and talented bunch!

This dojang has a different teaching style than the others. They have a class once a week that teaches the history of TaeKwonDo and life skills and lessons. They offer a 3 day FREE trial. And even after that, there is a 2 week trial with a uniform for a reasonable price. THEN you have the option of signing up officially. Rates here are also lower than other gyms.
I have been with MTM for 6 years now and I have seen many students transform to a respectful, disciplined, and dedicated human beings. Not only them, but as for myself. I found myself saying «Yes ma’am» and «Yes sir» to my professors. And even developing the discipline to simply sit and listen.

MTM (More Than Medals) Taekwondo, is not just a Taekwondo gym, it teaches the students to not just be excellent on the mats, but also in life — studies, work, community and family.
With the tagline «Champions in the Game, Champions in Life», we have seen students become more responsible in their schools and at home, at the same time winning in competitions.
MTM TKD also has Life Coaching which is based on five basic TENETS (Courtesy, Integrity, Self-​control, Perseverance, Indomitable Spirit). This guides the students in applying these tenets to their everyday life.
