I like the place and some of their items. But some of their ladies are so disappointing. So when you get at this place(Maharlika) don’t forget to take some guys so they gonna have a good services for GUYS only. They love guys/boys/men! Obviously!

Fries and wings for $ 20 what the hell? Ok I didn’t mind paying for it because I was hungry, but most importantly it was the worst wings I have ever had! The fries were alright, not bad. Also the Karaōke was too too loud inside! Had to go wait for my food outside Lost my appetite and threw the wings away! Never ordering from them again

My friend and I stopped here tonight after visiting fog city hookah, which we left only because we got hungry. We were going to stop by in-n-out, but he loves Filipino food so we stopped by here instead, being that it’s a couple doors down. Knowing relatively nothing about Filipino food myself beyond lumpia, I was eager and excited to try something new, although not hungry enough for multiple plates so we ordered the egg noodles to split. A $ 10 plate. He also got a bottled water. The noodles were bland and tasted like top ramen noodles, only to be relatively appetizing after drenching them in sauce. Horrible first introduction into mainstream Filipino food, but I didn’t expect much. Where they really lost me was they failed to mention the $ 30 debit card minimum until we paid. I was upset, but my friend ran out to his car and grabbed cash anyway. Instead of being decent humans, they told him the minimum was regardless of payment and we ended up leaving $ 20 in cash plus the $ 12 for the horrible meal. Are you kidding? What a rip off! He was in a generous mood, but I will not be bringing my business back here. Post a sign about the minimum, and don’t attempt to swindle customers out of their hard earned money.

Quite honestly, the worst food I have probably ever had. My boyfriend and I felt it wasn’t where we wanted to be, so we asked to cancel our order after we placed it and they wouldn’t let us. We got it to go and hoped for the best. I had ordered their rice noodles vegetarian. The aloof server had no idea what vegetables it contained but I went with it, anyway. Food arrives with 95% noodles, cabbage, celery, and a few carrots for $ 10.00! Did I mention it tasted like dirt? While I strongly believe price is subjective, you expect some value and flavor out of your meal! The place is also quite unsanitary with finger prints nearly every where you look. The food came in a biodegradable box with a plastic fork: I’m co. nvinced that’s all we paid for. I won’t be back here again.

Love their tapa and quite a generous serving of lean beef for $ 9.00 and with their spiced up garlic vinegar dip. Their sisig is also another treat plus quite a selection of other Filipino delicacies. Their servers are polite, courteous and attentive to the customer’s needs. This is also a karaōke bar and the sound system is probably one of the best in the area, your voice attenuates out a notch or two better. And no long line nor waiting time. Now tipping the operator which is a major problem in other kareoke bars is non-existent here. Actually, you might be asked politely by your server if you wish to perform. So if you like to sing, this is the place to sing your heart out. I could have given this place a five star rating except it is relatively small, serves only Filipino food and thus cater to only Filipinos.

Great food. Small portion. Pricey. $ 30 credit/debit minimum. That really irritated me. Wine & beer only. Open late. Still pissed about the high minimum. I just wanted rice, meat, & a beer. I tip well but won’t anymore. They should just say cash only.

I guess this place is more of a karaōke hangout than a late night Togo food type of place. They sell beer and a lot of people hung out here n sing. seems fun. The food was expensive and it wasn’t that good. We ordered lumpia, pancit, and sisig. None of which were that good, and it came out to over 30 $. Not bad for a late night meal, but def a little pricey for a Filipino spot.

Wow felt like I just got ripped off paid $ 25 for barely a handful of chicharon bulaklak(literally), shrimp killawin and rice. I guess for Togo they like to cheat customers bc they know not all customers check their food. I’m super disappointed by this place I say don’t ever order Togo from here!!! The price is outrageous for the amount of food you get.

This place rocks! Food, drinks, service and everything. I guess people who put bad reviews have very high expectations. They havent tried the other«bars around.» Go ahead try the other«bars around» and you wont find any bar better than Maharlika.

So this review is based on one visit. I had a great experience here, I had a craving from a picture I saw on Instagram for Filipino food. I came here and didn’t expect it to also be a Karaōke joint. so it was really loud. I went in describing something that had eggs on it, Grace was able to identify what I was asking for. I said«thats what I want!» She asked, are you familiar with Filipino food? I admitted no, and she asked a couple more questions and she was able to get me what I really wanted. The fact that she cared about what I was ordering and if I would like it I really appreciated. No where does that! My friend ordered the pork sigsig and it was sooo good, but pretty fatty. It had bits of crispy and bits of tender, juicy. My food was amazing, and their sauce was so good. I got such great service from Grace I am coming back despite the very loud environment. Very attentive and the food was sooo good! It says«Fast food» … its not, its made to order I feel, and it takes the normal amount of time compared to a «normal» restaurant. The quality is far better then fast food, they should take out fast food from their title.

The food is good but the service sucks and the servers were very unfriendly, they should treat each customer fairly not just the patrons. We went there to relax, eat and have fun but instead we went home very disappointed. The servers were such in a hurry for us to order food and pick our songs for the karaōke to think its only 12:30am… Hey! U close at 2 what’s the rush for? Anyway… In short, we are definitely not coming back.

Everything is super good here… if you grew up in the Philippines or grew up eying Filipino food. My favorite here is their pork sisig and the kalderetang kambing. Peepz!!! Remember, this is a Filipino Fast Food Restaurant and Karaōke but they actually cook the food once you order it that’s why it might take a while to have your food serve on your table. Also, like what I said, it is a karaōke place so expect that it will be loud… and they serve alcohol so you get what you want. This is one of my favorite hangout place for good food and good sound system for singing. I will definitely keep coming back here as long as they are open!!!

Either some entries are false reviews or these people are talking about another place. Maharlika, by far, sells the best sisig! Tuna sisig, pork sisig, and now bangus sisig! Aside from beer and wine, Maharlika now sells Vodka and Tequila! My other favorites are steamed seabass, chicken, and fried catfish! The food fills any hunger!

Now, I’m far from the authority on good sisig but their Sisig is probably by far, their best dish. The previous reviews with one exception seem to be concentrated on elements that are beyond the restaurants control, however, while the flirting may seem shameless to some, it probably gets these girls a decent tip which is what being a server is all about. I can attest to the general unfriendliness for outsiders(as I’m Chinese) so it doesn’t hurt to come here with a few Filipino friends Essentially, if you enjoy Sisig(wiki defines as: a Philippine dish made from parts of pig’s head, liver and usually seasoned with kalamansi and chili peppers.) or if you’re interested in trying it, this is the place to go. If you go before 8:00 p.m. the karaōke crowd is absent so you can eat in peace(sort of). Top it off with some rice and some lumpiang shanghai.

To be fair, this won’t be a very objective review. The only time I’ve been here was to pick up my white step– father and an uncle visiting from The Philippines after they over– indulged themselves. The people there were very unfriendly, but it’s probably because of the loud white guy in their midst. Dad tried to introduce me to somebody whose head was face down on the table. He didn’t even look up. I don’t really remember being approached for service by the over-worked, tired-looking waitress. That place was soo depressing.

Best Pinoy barbeque in the Bay. They serve up pork and chicken skewers, and though both are tasty, the chicken’s the one to go for. They also offer a nice selection of standard homestyle dishes like pinakbet, kare kare, and lumpia. Friendly reminder: this is a hole in the wall, and as such, it’s pretty damn dirty place. But that won’t stop you, right?
