Infinitel Communications – Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer

SHADY store. This is a perfect example as to why I will never go to any of these self-​owned stores like this one. My mom and I were looking for a simple, basic, no data flip phone because hers broke. The sales lady, unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she was Asian with short hair and glasses, was very helpful in the beginning. She looked at our current plan and told us there were promotions going on to upgrade my parents phone (both basic flip phones) to smart phones and lose my and my siblings unlimited data and share our GB. I already knew we weren’t interested so I kindly passed TWICE and she told me just listen to her and what she had to offer. She then proceeded to try and butter my mom up and spoke to her in Chinese saying the younger generation is always in such a hurry.
After looking at our plan, she told me that only two smart phones in our plan had unlimited data and my sister didn’t. Which to me sounded suspicious and I should have followed my gut. My moms line wasn’t eligible for an upgrade but my sister did. So we were going to give her upgrade to my mom. Luckily, they didn’t have the phone my mom wanted in stock. So we left and went to an actual Verizon Store on El Camino by Tanforan and a representative told me that if we were to use my sisters upgrade, she would lose her unlimited data. WTF.
The lady just LIED TO US for their own sales benefit and almost SCREWED US over. I would never return to this place.

Excellent customer service provided by Josephine the owner. We’ve been trying to upgrade a line and after 5 days with complete frustration with Verizon, before I cancelled my service and all lines with this wireless provider, I decided to give this place a try. Got my first smart phone from here a few years back, and although the place changed owners a few times, I was not disappointed. Josephin honored a price promise, which was no longer available and defused my frustration very smoothly. I will continue to purchase and upgrade my phone’s for as long I stay with Verizon.

Sorry, I like the owners, but their worker (I guess you all can guess who it is since only one person is always sitting there)…is RUDE.
Maybe he was having a bad day… maybe he didn’t feel like talking… maybe I wasn’t a hot enough girl… whatever the reason was, you’re in customer service and that’s not how to treat a customer of SO MANY YEARS.
I came in with a simple question of why my my contacts on my phone were acting up. Lo and behold, got a buttload of attitude and sarcasm. Yes, I did research it online. Yes, I did call Apple. Yet, he told me do the research yourself and rolled his eyes at while scoffing. I was about to throw all the phones up in that place if I didn’t know the owners. Jk. Not.
He then sent me to the Apple store to question them, then the Apple store told me they shouldn’t have done that because it’s a carrier problem, then I went back to him and he then said I don’t know, call Apple.
LATER…I find out it WAS Verizon’s fault and IF he just spent some time in helping me without attitude, maybe I could have been done the first time and not come back 3 – 4 times.
UGH. So disappointed and I finally left this place and went elsewhere.
For a communications place, this person doesn’t have good communication skills.

I’ve been a Verizon customer for over 15 years. I now spend half a year in India, half a year at home and, once, I stopped at this store, by chance, while waiting for my car to be smog checked. At the time, getting an unlocked phone for international travel was basically impossible but Jackson Wong spent a good deal of time with me, answering all my questions in a very friendly, helpful manner. I am often dismayed when I go to other Verizon stores because they are so crowded, wait times are lengthy, and customer service seems a forgotten art (I am 68, have a mobility disabalility). It gets annoying when, after waiting my turn, I feel rushed and discounted, ESPECIALLY when the agent realizes I am not in the store for a purchase.
Recently, I purchased the new Samsung Note 2 UNLOCKED phone, a Bose bluetooth and other accessories, ordering them online. I couldn’t figure out how to open the back of the phone and had a few questions so I, again, went to see Jackson Wong. He went over the phone with me, opening it and had me open it, as well, to be sure I understood how to do it. During the course of our chat, I realized I could have purchased my phone directly from Jackson and regretted that I had not. I always prefer dealing directly with a person whenever I can and no one, in all my years as a Verizon customer, has ever been so helpful as him. I guess, because the walls of the store aren’t full of products as some of the stores are, I didn’t think of Infinitel as a fully functioning Verizon dealer… but it is. I won’t make that mistake again.
Best of all, Jackson Wong knows about customer service and exemplifies it.

Jackson took time to talk to me about different phones I was considering, unpacked them so I could try them out in my pocket, and dug around on the internet to find instructions for exporting contacts from my ancient Palm phone. A week later I went back to buy a Droid DNA from him. There were a bunch of people, but he managed both his own time and the customers’ expectations well. He told me he needed 15 minutes and then he’d be ready to help me – and he was.
While buying the phone, considering the service plans, and learning from him how to operate the critical functions, Jackson never made me feel rushed. Before I left, he made sure all of my contacts were actually on the phone. He’s super-​friendly and super-​energetic, and I admire how hard he works.

Dude helped me to upgrade my phone, I also asked him teach my mom how to use Iphone in mandarin and he is very helpful. Yes, there’s sticker sayin they speak chinese (both mandarin and cantonese)
I guess this is my lucky day, I went there and there’s no customer. Jackson is very friendly and helpful. The whole set up was quick and easy.
I’ve been to Burlingame (across from Apple store) and SSF Verizon store.
Their service is not up to par and the wait time will drive you crazy and sometimes you witness unnecessary drama that will turn you off before you receive any help. Gah… Bigger location does not mean you will get good service.

New owner! If I could give this ten stars I would! Jackson, is the owner and works the counter himself 7 days a week.
He was very patient, helpful, and honest with us when adding my girl to my plan. He told us some of the scams of verizon and threw in a car charger, and two screen protectors (one for my phone which I did not even buy in his store). And he did all this while just getting a free iPhone 4, I can only imagine if we actually bought something from him.
I am a hard man to please but this store is in my good graces and I will be returning here for anything to do with Verizon.

The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They are super knowledgeable, listened to our concerns, answered our questions and recommended excellent phones for us. Got my Droid Maxx here a couple of days ago. Sales rep Peter and Leslie pretty much took care of everything for me.

I walked in and the sales clerk was by herself helping another customer. After waited a few minutes I asked if she would let me make a payment. Clerk said she needs to finish with customer #1 — Fair but: How about multi-​guesting if she was by herself?! … I left upset and went to San Mateo/​Bridgepointe-​Verizon (thankful I was going southward), and there I realized the Gellert location is only a franchise store and they dont process payments like the company store would. Now, it leads to my second question: was there training for basic protocol like this! In summary, owners only care to sell and suck your wallet dry. Service?! Go else where!

beyond rude.
i was the only person in the store and the store clerk didn’t even look up from his computer.
when i walk up to him to ask about a phone, he still didn’t look up from his computer when he was «talking» to me.
and for some of the questions i asked, he tried to hand me a brochure instead of answering my questions.
