Never ever ever buy online through dollar tree. If it comes in and is not as you expected, you CANNOT RETURN THE ITEMS. All items bought online are «final sale». They won’t take them back. So don’t let those cashiers push you into ordering online. It’s a way for the corporation to get rid of things and refuse to take them back.

I’ve had too many bad experiences in this store and only a few good experiences. The bad outweighs the good. I came here yesterday 10/​27/​2015 around 9am, I almost stepped on a dead pigeon a few feet away from the entryway. Since most of the parking lot is already trashy and the grey pigeon almost blends in with the dirty concrete.
I came here just to buy cheap gloves and napkins. As I was walking out of one of the aisles I almost tripped on a box the staff left on the floor, It was left careless at the end of the aisle on the corner.
As I walked a bit more I seen one of the staff staring at me from the corner of her eye I paid no mind. Few minutes later she asked if I needed help finding anything. I snapped and said «no I do not need your help.» I was thinking in my head FIRST OF ALL SAY GOOD MORNING! This is not how you greet a customer, she turned and did the same to another customer a split second after asking me. He also snapped at her, she didn’t even say good morning to him not even a simple hello to either of us. When you ask this question without greeting the customer, this is like telling your customer I know you are up to no good.
I finally made it to the checkout counter. The bald cashier wearing a tie was moving quick and telling flat jokes to the customer in front of me. He got to me and made a rude joke saying «you were running running to this Dollar Tree, saying to yourself I got to make it to Dollar Tree I gotta make it to Dollar Tree before it closes.» The other female cashier started laughing. The customers behind me were not amused at all. He did not even bother bagging my stuff although it was just 2 items.
As I was walking out of the store he started on the customer behind me saying «ok ok I’m going to get you out of here ma’am moving his arms fast» This guy was obviously high on meth.
The couple of other bad experiences in here… I was telling the lady I didn’t want an item that I changed my mind. She rung it up anyways, I told her again politely that I didn’t want that item she told me «I could knock you out, why didn’t you tell me you didn’t want this.» Yeah… Some customer service. I never seen her again. Another experience were two employees playing with the intercom talking about store specials while laughing in the intercom. Haven’t seen them back in the store either.
This store is horrible in customer service, although I must say there are some employees here whom are friendly. This store does have some useful items Panasonic Batteries, Cleaning gloves, Cups, Containers, LED flash lights, few school supplies. Just to save a few bucks, I usually go elsewhere and spend four times more. It was the only reason why I kept coming back but after what happened yesterday I will no longer support this store with my few dollars.

Came to this place to buy a plastic bowl for a plant, went up to the cashier to pay for my merchandise, as the black rolling table machine that goes near the cashier it supposed to stop every so often, this one just kept on going almost lost a finger if didn’t took out spot fast enough.
While my finger was being smashed in with other merchandised told black female cashier out loud, watch out my finger she ignores didn’t even apologize and fix the problem just went onto the next customer as if nothing has happen.

Wished they had Dollar Tree back in the early 80’s! :) Great place to come when you are on a serious budget. I come here with my family to buy cleaning supplies.$ 20.00 gets you almost a cart full.
The reason I only gave 2 star review was the fact when I was checking out the young lady didn’t even greet me I was the one who greeted+that’s years in my customer service background for yah. Anyhow as she was ringing up my items for checkout her cellphone rang and .yes she proceeded to talk while she was ringing me up!!. Holy batman if she would work at my job my supervisor would had the Talk with her or worse written her up!!. Wow, I can only imagine her Answers during a job interview process. lies, lies, and more lies! So sad!!. Ghetto Fabulous with a a Capital G!!.
So now I take my money’s and buy items at the Daly City Dollar Tree near Serramonte. The cashier’s are way efficient and yet fun striking up a conversation. That’s what brings back customers! Parking is ample and safe. :)

I love bargains… I like to use things and throw out the old and bring in the new. Yes there’s a bunch of different people in different social standing. so please be aware that shop lifting is pretty common at this location. I caught a couple of individuals of all ages that were stuffing their pockets/​bags/​back packs and reminded them that if they continue to take items this dollar shop will end up closing like fresh and easy on 3^rd street and will probably be replaced by the goodwill… or salvation army. I like the convenience of a cheap supply shop… I try to buy at least 2 times a month…

The super bargain store. Truly dollar or less. So much junk and when you check out you be surprised how much you have bought. A Dollar will definitely add up.
This is pretty new place in the neighborhood. Good variety stuff, majority of the time its hit or miss. You may see stuff once and next time you come back it may not bet there anymore. All these franchise store have different things more or less. Good stuff for good price. They sell food, hardware, kitchenware and much more. Isles and isles of random crap.
Overall dollar store! It is truly dollar or less. This store is not in such a safe neighborhood so shop with caution. Every themed holiday, these stores have some stuff that they sell. Super great for party stuff. Can’t beat this place.

Something about this particular spot gives me goose bumps.
It could be the. store organization or the parking lot but if you can go to another location, that might be best.
Gotta like wash my hands after I get out of this store.

I will give it 4 stars just because everything is a dollar, not a good selection most of the aisles were full of party decorations, if your not having a p party, its not worth going, also you can get food items cheaper at grocery outlet which opened near by,

Who Can Not Love Dollar Tree???
Never been to this Location and I saw things in there I haven’t seen at any other Dollar Tree Store…
For the Most part I enjoyed the store, great things and store looked pretty Neat!
BUT the Lack Of GOOD Customer Service seemed to fell with Employee «Lupe» who Not only had a Conversation with another CoWorker about How long she working until, and No Greeting or conversation with My Mom & I, But Had my mama BAG HER OWN STUFF!!! Yes we brought our own bags but we didn’t expect to bag em?
My Mother said «Lupe» Seemed Very Dry and like she had a Mean attitude.
Not Good Lupe I guess She didnt know who I am…
Now I wasn’t in the Mood to be judging Customer Service today but when my Mom came out Pissed… Oh I had to Unilocal That Ass…

I just had a horrible experience at the Dollar Tree on Geneva Avenue in Daly City. I went in with a manufacturer’s coupon. I picked up a couple of knick-​knacks too. I got in line with no one behind me. The cashier couldn’t get the coupon to work and told me as if to get me to say «oh okay, never mind.» But I didn’t and said okay well, can you manually override it or get someone to help you? So he looked around and knocked on the glass at the front of the store to get someone’s attention. Meanwhile the line is building and 2^nd & 3^rd customer starts to get frustrated. At first i thought they would get mad at the cashier so I try to be patient with the cashier as I don’t know how much training he’s had. I don’t say anything but the people behind me start talking more crap and loudly. The cashier doesn’t offer to void my transaction to get the line going as we are waiting for someone who knows how to key in a coupon properly to show up. So I said «do you want to call someone to open another line as I think these gentlemen seem to be in a hurry.» The really big burley African American guy behind me starts to get excited and talking crap because I’m using a coupon. And the wiry Caucasian guy behind him is just fueling his fire. They start to direct their anger at me because we are at a stand still. And I understand. Normally I would offer to let him go ahead. BTW, the cashier is now trying to make it seem to the 2 guys like its all my fault that I am resolved to use my coupon but they were all so horrible (that’s putting it kindly) that I thought whatever and forget it, I’m standing my ground. To be perfectly honest, this is how I felt: they all looked at me an assumed– Asian American mom easy to intimidate. As if I’d back down, shy away, not say a word to defend myself. I only got love from one super cool African American lady in the line so wherever you are — thank you! Nobody else said anything including an Asian lady who saw everything. I said «look I’m not getting mad at the cashier so you don’t need to get mad at me.» Big burley guy said «I can do whatever I want to!» So I said «okay, go right ahead!» He says «don’t talk to me.» I said «well don’t talk to me!» The cashier actually try’s to tell everybody to calm down but directs it at me specifically. The big burley guy says something again so I respond again and get this, the cashier shakes his head and clicks his tongue and said «man, women these days, you all talk back to men!» I said «excuse me?!» Btw, Caucasian guy is now shrinking back like a wall flower after goading on big burley guy. Another line finally opens up and wow, like a miracle, the cashier finally got to coupon to work. Coincidence? He said very sarcastically to me «have a nice day!» The very guy I thought I was protecting when I was trying to be patient with threw me under the bus to the guys behind me trying to «bro» it up with them. Please don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. I go to my vehicle and put away my shopping bag. I JUST couldn’t let it go. I went back inside and said «what is your name?» No response, so again I asked, «sir, what is your name?» He said, «it’s Oscar, O-​S-​C-​A-​R!» I asked who was the manager and he adamantly said he was. Seriously? A real manager would never behave that way (at least a properly trained one). I didn’t believe it for a second. On my way out, the nice African American lady who spoke up for me was being rung up in the new line that opened up. I stopped just to tell her what Oscar the cashier said about women. The soft-​spoken lady cashier who was ringing her up told Oscar to stop and Oscar very insincerely apologized and again with much sarcasm said «you have a good day!» The nice lady cashier told me softly that she was in charge. I was so upset at this point that it didn’t even dawn on me until I got home that okay then, where was she in all this? Why didn’t she open the 2^nd line earlier and reprimand Oscar for speaking to a customer like that. Needless to say this experience has moved me to write my 1^st review ever and to actually contact the district Manager. I left a voicemail. So I’ll update this review if/​when I hear back to let you know how their stores handles a complaint. If you were wondering, the store staff was Latino. This is a pretty diverse store and I hate to make it a race thing but you know I have to call it for exactly what it was. It was a partially racist and partially sexist thing from the two guys behind me and the cashier. If you are a minority AND female, YOU know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m an Asian American female, plus add on that fact that I look like a soccer mom and somehow people think its okay to push you around, treat you like a door mat, cut you off on the road, talk crap like I won’t say anything back. Well I think it’s important to be a good example to not only your kids but to others around you. Again, to the nice lady who supported me, may you have good Karma!

Been to Dollar Tree and actually several locations, don’t like this location. The store is very disorganized. Staffing is where they are not needed and finding stuff is a challenge. Even going into the garage without being hit is a challenge.
Will not be returning.

These stores have a lot of household items for everyday usage, doing chores and such for a dollar each. They also carry toys and other knick-​knacks on the cheap ($ 1 for Gatorade bottles). Some of the brands are new to me, though they do stock a surprisingly a good amount of quality name-​brands that you would find at supermarkets and drugstores. Their shelves are organized and aisles are clean, nice.
Located at the Bayshore Heights neighborhood and a little more than one block away from The Cow Palace. Getting to the area is somewhat out of the way, but totally worth a visit if anywhere near it. Private parking lot if you don’t want to park on the street. A couple of bus stops are right there too.
Note every item is a dollar or less so you’re saving quite a bit; a dollar saved is a dollar for cocktails!

Shoppingon a budget???
This is definitely my spot for throwing parties on the budget. They have everything you may need and for $ 1 each?
Cheap, organized spot and great customer service :)

Love this place. It’s much bigger than the dollar stores we have in SF and the selection is somewhat different. They have like 5 aisles just for party supplies, it’s ridiculous. And everything in the store is a buck — even things that are $ 5 or more at Walgreens. The frozen section is mostly crap food, but they do have 4 ounce packs of wild-​caught salmon. I scored a few 7 ounce bags of ground coffee, a 100 tablet thing of antihistamine, and some cool stationery supplies. The clientele is somewhat ghetto, but whatever.

Nothing more to say. If you need some random items for the house or candy this is the place to go.
Also great to take advantage when they have brand name items

I have a love/​hate relationship with Dollar Tree. I love what they have when I need something quick and cheap for decorating for a party. I hate that I get caught up with how cheap it is and end up buying stuff that I really shouldn’t have picked up. But what can I do? Everything is a dollar for goodness sake! Why wouldn’t I pick up a dozen candle holders when I only need six?
It’s a deal here. Not high on quality, but big on quantity. Shop smart!

If you’re planning on hosting a party, you have to start here. Dollar Tree has everything necessary for feeding people and decorating, and it’s so reasonable. Lately, I’ve noticed they even have some rather nice square-​shaped paper plates in various solid colors, but they also often have Disney paraphernalia and sparkles up the wazoo for kids’ parties. It almost makes me want to have a party.
You also can’t go wrong with their photo frames, greeting cards, or mylar balloons. In addition to that, they have great seasonal décor, craft supplies, and sometimes name-​brand hygiene products, makeup, and food. What’s not to love?

I miss Savers. Yep, I said it. It doesn’t even matter that I rarely went in there. I rarely go into dollar stores and thrift stores in general. Savers was part of my childhood. It was where my family would go to look for the most randomest items like extra glassware. I wanted to donate clothes this past weekend, and I wasn’t able to do it because Savers was no longer there.
On the other hand, I bought a little fancy box here for a little over a dollar (including tax). That was nice. The Dollar Tree also had many other items that you wouldn’t find at a Savers– candy snacks, drinks, school supplies, party flavors, etc. I guess it’s not so bad that the Dollar Tree took over Savers. Still, I miss Savers.

I fucking love Dollar Tree. I know half the shit they sell there is junk. I get it. I know at least ¾ of San Francisco is too cool to shop at place like Dollar Tree. You know what I say to that? Fuck you guys. Good. Stay out of here. Allow me to peruse the treasure and wonders of the DT in peace. This stretch of Geneva is devoid of hipsters and full of «salt of the earth people» as my mother says, much like myself.
Yesterday I bought picture frames, gift wrapping, a gumball machine, candy to make office gift bags, gift bags, a bag of soy crisps (YES MOTHERFUCKING SOY CRISPS), shaving cream, 2 pairs of sweater socks, 2 boxes of popcorn, candles, something that is supposed to sand the hair of my legs, fake mustaches, and a Diet Mountain Dew.
Please tell me where else in the world I could gather all these fine goods? Yep. That’s what I thought.

I am thankful they tore down SAVERS and replaced the lot with a Dollar Tree. SAVERS was a joke! I don’t understand these second hand stores anymore. Back in the day, you could buy a pair of used jeans for $ 2.50! Now they charge between $ 10-​$ 15 dollars? Wow! I can shop at DD’s or Ross and get a brand new pair of jeans for the same price!
Anyways, back to the Dollar Tree. I’m kind of disappointed. I went in to buy Christmas Gift bags, but there were no packaged deals. They were selling individual gift bags for $ 1 each. When you have 85 presents to wrap that is not a deal. The Dollar Tree in San Pablo offers gift bag bundles like 3 – 5 bags for $ 1!!! Eh, but I’m still happy there is a Dollar Tree in the area where I don’t have to pay for metered parking and I could get five thousand snacks for dirt cheap! Yay!
