Danny Chan Chiropractic

I know I have been here more than 2 times… I’ve been here at least 20 times!!! I love Danny, I have referred so many people to him. There is a lot of parking and I am happy every time I visit…
Whenever I have an ache anywhere, I book my appointment right away or even the same day and they will always accommodate me.
You go in and do a 15 min electric thingy on the places you’re hurting. Then when the machine beeps, Danny comes in and turns off the machine and he starts cracking your back and everywhere, but at the same time, he’s talking to you about everything and anything.
We usually talk about cars and disneyland or disneyworld, for me, the scariest part is when he cracks my neck, but he’s always talking to me so it’s soothing.
My coworker who I referred has a niece and had neck pain for awhile and she’s already went to a chiropractor and it didn’t help. I told her to tell her to go see Danny, and he cured her in 2 trips!!!
YES PLEASE! Oh yeah, they take Insurance… blue shield is the best since its totally covered!

I have never been to a chiropractor before so going to Dr. Chan was my first time ever. I’ve been meaning to go to one and picked this place through recommendations on Unilocal.I have to say, the positive reviews were pretty accurate. Lots of parking on the lot of the building and the girl at the front desk was very friendly (bubbly girl, with glasses and long hair). My first session took about 40 mins.
I probably scared myself unnecessarily by watching videos of chiropractic adjustments on YouTube the night before and was really nervous going in. Luckily for me, he was very approachable, friendly and casual so it didn’t feel like you were in such a serious environment. He was very gentle and assuring. I was worried that it would be painful but it wasn’t at all for me. Dr. Chan was very informative and I’ve learned so much more about how or why the condition of my back got to the way it is now. He was spot on almost immediately with all the points on the back where my pain was.
I’ve already booked my next session for the next week. Very excited and looking forward to get my back fixed even more now.

I got back and neck pain that had been bothering me for the past 6 months. I never been to chiropractor in my life time I feel skeptical and i was a NON-​BELIEVER. I start googling and Unilocaling and decided to see Dr. Chan and give it a shot.
Showed up at his office and greeted b the receptionist name Michelle she was really friendly. Finally met with Dr. Chan and he knew right away that I have bad posture for sitting 8+ hours every days. He gave me tips how to correct my posture. HE FIXED ME LESS than 5 minutes with the adjustment. Felt scary with all the cracking bones from my neck and back, but when he was done, I felt my body really light and the pain was gone. I still have to see him several times because he said my posture still bad and need times to be normal.
Dr. Chan really knows what he’s doing and no wonder he got all 5 stars from the Unilocal Reviewers.

Do I ever write reviews on anything other than restaurants? RARELY. So if you see something out of the ordinary like this, it must be EXTRAORDINARY. That perfectly describes Dr. Chan and his office.
(Background: feel free to skip) Had extreme back pain, to the point when I had trouble moving, during a final and my professor/​school doc sent me to the ER. BODY, HOW DARE YOU STRIKE DURING MY PRACTICAL. I WANTED AN A NOT AN 86%… –super angry still–
Anyway, emailed Dr. Chan about my situation and he squeezed me right in the next day. two hours before his office was even open to adjust to my schedule. HOW AMAZING IS THAT?!
He then diagnosed the problem and explained to me what he saw. He then proceeded with day 1 of therapy and it went from there. Very professional and almost felt 80% cured of my problem just that day.
Came back for a followup that week and he fixed the problem almost completely.
Staff were also quite friendly, although the front desk placed the impulse pads on the second day which gave me extreme pain the entire 15 min, tried to call someone but I don’t think they heard me (would have –1 star had it not been the gracious accommodations). Dr. Chan then came in to readjust my back and neck. Been sleeping quite well ever since.
NEED A CHIROPRACTOR? LOOK NO FURTHER.
I’ve never been to one before but I think they are pretty affordable? Broke college student here, WITH NO INSURANCE, so it means something right?
Plenty of parking as they have a parking lot of their own behind the building. Office is clean and smells nice :)

I have already recommended to friends. Danny doesn’t want you to keep coming back. He wants you to get better so you don’t have to. Great guy, great staff, and overall great experience. It does get a bit busy some days so just be prepared to communicate your needs!

Dr. Chan knows what his doing, he’ll try to explain and show you in an xray how you’re back bones looks like, he’ll inform you evrything u wanna know before he do the adjustment. Im definitely going back…

I would highly recommend Dr. Chan for our chiropractic needs. I have been to three chiro’s in the past several years. The first one I would not let touch me as I didn’t have a good vibe about him. The second one is no longer in my area and I needed to find a new chiro. I found Dr. Chan on Unilocal and decided to try him out based on the good reviews.
As soon as Dr. Chan walked in and starting talking, I immediately felt comfortable with him. He takes the time to explain everything and never forces an adjustment. I would highly recommend him.
His staff is also terrific! They know your name when you walk in and also check in how you are feeling.

Dr. Chan is very personable and helps with all my aches. I’ve never had to wait longer then 5 – 10 min in the lobby but I do recommend setting an appointment. Highly recommend!

I was loathe to write a review for Dr. Chan because I didn’t want everyone to know about him because he is such a good Chiropractor! I didn’t want to have to fight for an appointment!
But… since I haven’t had to seen him in over a year (has it been longer?!) I thought I would go ahead and tell the world!
I kept telling my boyfriend, «It’s not my back, it feels more like my butt!» and when I went into Dr. Chan’s offices I didn’t mention the butt thing, but he looked me over and said, «your tailbone is out of alignment.» («I KNEW it!» I shouted to my boyfriend!) A few visits later, he taught me how to stretch to keep it from happening again, and I’ve been happy ever since!
I have recommended him to a number of friends, and a co-​worker who said, «This guy is a terrible Chiropractor! He FIXED me!»
Dr. Chan is not one of those fly-​by night Chiropractors who just want to keep you coming back to make money. He WILL help! And I will be back if I ever knock anything else out of whack! ;)

I’ve been here when I was pregnant and been here just few days ago since my back was so bad Bec of my mild scoliosis and being a mom is physically tiring. Dr. Chan did his adjustments and man… Felt so
Much better afterwards. Dr. Chan was nice and professional together with his assistants in the front desk.

I’ve never been to a chiropractor before and I was a little nervous about finally going to see one, but I’m so glad I came to Dr. Chan! I’ve gotten two adjustments so far, and it’s definitely helping. Dr. Chan is super personable and knowledgeable, making the whole experience comfortable for patients. His assistants/​front desk girls are also really sweet. What’s more– appointments are really affordable, even if they don’t take your specific insurance. Bonus– plenty of parking! I’m definitely going to continue seeing Dr. Chan, and if you have back problems, you should too!

Sadly, my insurance had some changes and is no longer accepted by Dr. Chan, for over 2 years now.
I wanted to write this follow-​up review because I miss having my chiro appointments here. I now see another chiro, but it is not the same. While my current chiro is knowledgable, he is not like Dr Chan who is also personable and makes those small talks a part of the experience. The modern office space is a definite positive touch-​up, unlike my new chiro who shares a space in a very old run-​down building with old carpetiing and lonely wall art.
I look forward to the moment I have a chance to be Dr Chan’s patient again.

I’ve had back problems for the past few years but have never found medical care as good as what Dr. Chan and his staff has provided me! I get massages and adjustments from his office.
I was studying for the bar and had severe back pain because of poor posture and stress. I tried physical therapy, different meds, and acupuncture– none of them worked. When I first came to see Dr. Chan, he took the time to listen to my situation, and understand my needs. We developed a plan for the duration of my bar prep. I can honestly attest to the fact that I would not have been able to successfully take the bar without his and his staff’s help.
Dr. Chan is VERY knowledgeable. He doesn’t just adjust you– he takes time to explain what’s going on and any tips on how you can self-​manage your pain at home. He offers some Saturday appointments which is very important to me. Karen and Connie are the best medical assistants I have ever met. They really take time to ensure you are comfortable and try their best to accommodate your requests.
The office is very clean and relatively quiet even though there are so many patients going in and out of the rooms. I’ve observed how seamlessly synchronized the whole office is even at its busiest. After going there for about 2 and a half years, with at least one appointment a month, the longest I have ever waited for service was maybe 5 minutes-​once. I’ve recommended Dr. Chan to every human being I know whether they need chiro care or a really good massage therapy.

Dr. Chan was awesome! He knew exactly where the pain was and definitely provided me with some relief. He has a way with his touch and in addition to the adjustment really tried to help.
Before the adjustment because I was so tight, used electric stimulator with heating pad and that really seemed to help.

I started coming here earlier this year and just, WOW. Dr. Chan is so knowledgeable and caring, you absolutely know you’re in trusting hands. And the front girls, Connie and Karen, are complete sweethearts. Not only are they extremely helpful and accommodating, they are super funny! I look forward to every appointment because everyone there has the best energy and you always leave feeling amazing.
There’s also TONS of parking :-)

OMG thank you Dr Danny! My back and neck were so messed up I could barely stand or sit for 30 mins and not have if feel like it had been hours. I went and got a Thai massage a few days prior and the lady mentioned my back was like a piece of wood. She did her best to knead away the knots and I was very sore the next few days. I had Dr Danny adjust me the other day and I feel great! He got snaps, crackles and pops from my back and neck. I feel like a new person!

Dr. Danny Chan is Friendly, Knowledgeable, Honest, Caring and Efficient. I have experienced a few chiropractors before, non has the Ethic and Skills that Dr. Chan possesses. He was injured (sports related) before, so he knows EXACTLY what his patients are going through. In conclusion: He is Good and a Pleasure to deal with.

OK I’ve been waiting a while to hold off on writing this review for the massage therapy here… plainly because it was hard enough to get an appointment without the Unilocal referrals! But here goes, because they deserve to have their business expand rapidly.
The massage therapists here are A+ ceritified. This is not about a frilly spa experience where you pay $ 200 to have someone pet you until you fall asleep. If you have serious muscle tension, these therapists know what they are doing.
The rooms are private, they are very clean (this place is primarily run as a Chiropractor’s office) with changing the sheets, air circulation is good here so you can breathe deeply and cleanly, the lights are turned low so you can actually relax, and light classical or other soothing music is played in the background as the therapist does his/​her work.
Parking is ample in the back.

I had my first visit today at Dr. Chan’s office. Let me start off with he has an amazing space, it’s very clean and modern looking. I walked up to the front and was immediately greeted by my name before I even said it. After meeting with Dr. Chan I was so happy to see how nice and attentive he was. He listened to where my pain was and explained why things hurt which was nice to know I wasn’t going crazy. After my first visit I have to say I am already feeling better and am definitely looking forward to my next visit in a couple of days. I know I will be feeling 100% soon and am in good hands. Yay!

Thank you Unilocal and my insurance website for pointing me to Dr. Chan! I take my chiropractic adjustments very seriously and when my back was sore to move, walk, even lay down, I knew I needed to get in. It was super easy to make an appointment and they explained my insurance coverage before offering services, even though I was prepared to pay top dollar to feel even a little bit better. Dr. Chan started off with an initial assessment — concluding that my pain was probably due to scoliosis and since I am not new to adjustments, I’d probably only need a couple to start feeling better. After that, he put the muscle stim things and a heating pad on for 15 min, followed by an intense massage and an AMAZING adjustment. JUST THE WAY I LIKE THEM! There are so many different techniques, and he did it perfectly. I absolutely love hearing the pop go up my spine and around my neck!
He was right, within a couple of adjustments, I was feeling so much better. Hubs even asked me to make him an appointment and he enjoys them just as much!
I’d DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Chan to anyone needing an adjustment — an all around nice guy!

Absolutely AMAZING! Danny has expanded his office with a clean, elegant modern look and feel. Every room in his office is clean; and the staff is friendly and personable. Danny actually takes the time to listen to you and your ailments and does a great job adjust where necessary. Going to the chiropractor (for some people) may be a bit daunting. But Danny and his staff really make it an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend him.
