Working for over 30 years in the San Francisco area on Intercoms, we are the «Experts» on any of your Intercom needs. With a background in Electronics and 40 years of experience in Intercom, Security and Low Voltage Wiring, the owner, Mark, can not only provide expert quality service and repair on Intercom Systems, he can also advise on your total building security needs. Mailboxes, Iron Gates, Closed Circuit TV, access control, locks and electric door releases are just a few of the other specialties Mark has become an expert at. A San Francisco native, Mark has provided Intercoms for San Francisco General Hospital, UCSF, and over 40 Real Estate Management firms in the bay area. He has installed over 2,500 systems.

With a degree in electronics, 45 years in the electronic repair and service industries, with experience in Intercom, Security, and Locksmith services, I have installed over 2,500 intercom systems in San Francisco, and serviced over 10,000 systems, in the last 30 years. I do work for over 40 different real estate management firms. I am familiar with nearly every type and brand of intercom system in the world. I’ve installed intercoms in the operating room of San Francisco General Hospital, The Hall of Justice, and The City Jail. I am just as happy installing a simple two-​note chime doorbell for someones house as I am handling the larger projects. I am a one man operation, but my experience allows me to get a lot accomplished in a short amount of time. This saves customers money because they end up paying less in labor, and it allows me to keep the bids lower. I know you will be very pleased having me be your «Intercom Man.»

Our 6-​unit door intercom had been out in the weather for 30 years and was pretty funky. When it failed after a big rainstorm we figured it was the end. Mark put his finger on the problem in five minutes and fixed it for a reasonable fee.

I am so happy that I called Mark to resolve my doorbell issue. He checked the situation and advised that the entire Intercom system needed to be replaced. This was alarming and unnerving. However, I knew I could trust him to resolve the issue.

Mark’s very knowledgeable about his business and a wide range of intercom products. He’s also a nice guy and cares about delivering good service. We had a bit of a scheduling miscommunication the first time we spoke, so to make up for it Mark offered to make a special trip, free of charge, to evaluate my broken intercom. Within a minute of arriving he’d diagnosed the issue and got the system working again — but he didn’t stop there! He pointed out a couple things that could develop into future issues, but instead of trying to upsell me, he just tinkered around to see if he could fix them outright.
At the end of his visit my intercom was working again and he refused to take a penny!
I’m very impressed with his commitment to service and his knowledge. If I ever have issues again, he’ll be the only guy I call.

I was looking for a place that could reprogram the intercom system for my new apt complex. Contacted few place prior to calling this place. They either told they had to come to look at the system first, in order to make an estimate about the cost or just gave an outrageous estimate over the phone. Once I called Mark, I was pleasantly surprised how well he was aware of the unit that needed to be reprogrammed. He was very flexible and made me an offer that I simply couldn’t refuse. Once arrived, he took care of the reprogramming in less than 10 minutes! So if you are looking for a competent, affordable company to do your security system and intercom etc, AAA Intercom Systems is the place you have to choose. Thanks again.

Mark is businesslike, gave an accurate and fair bid, and came when we scheduled. He finished the work (replacing three intercoms) and used the existing wiring (other contractors wanted to rip out the walls). I’m very happy and recommend him highly. (This post is overdue, but I’m sincere nonetheless)

A guy came to fix my intercom yesterday and he was great! I forget his name but he knew what he was doing and had tons of experience. He had all the tools he needed including a wand that traces phone wires. I didn’t know something like that existed but it was very useful. He was able to identify the problem and his price for the visit was reasonable and exactly what I would expect to pay. Although he couldn’t fix the problem on the spot because it involved phone wires, he told us exactly what to tell the phone company, showed us where the problem was, and they patched everything the next morning.
Although we didn’t need to replace the intercom system we will definitely call this company if we do. The tech showed us an example that he did. right next door.
Next time your intercom doesn’t work, forget about calling your locksmith and call this guy! 5 thumbs up!

Intercom repair is what he does and is great at. We got two estimates prior to his and they both said we had to replace the entire system at a cost of around 2k. Mark came by and within 15 minutes had figured out it was just the outside unit that needed fixing and came back and repaired it at a quarter of the cost. Honest. Knows his stuff. Recommend.

Mark called and apologized on a mixup of contact information and came to install a new 8 unit intercom this past week. We have it up and running with no glitches. The work was smooth and the system is a real improvement over our out of date phone dependent one. I can recommend Mark to others who have intercom system needs.

Mark was able to set an appointment for the same day that I phoned. He arrived right on time. Within minutes after reviewing our 30 year old Sentrex Intercom he had it working again. This truly is a good as it gets and I base that on fifteen years of prior experience with the service providers scheduled at our building by a former property management company. All of those providers (locksmiths and electricians) charged far, far more and made matters worse, from time to time. This time it truly feels good and re-​assuring to have service by an honest, matter of fact person such as Mark.

Mark is hard working, honest, and more importantly, he knows what he’s doing. He quickly fixed the doorbell intercom system in my 2-​unit building, rewired everything, and did it at a fair price. The whole repair service took less than three hours. I had two intercoms that he offered to fix, but I declined as I only needed the doorbell and gate buzzer functions to work in both units.
Mark is not a salesman. He’s a repairman that will do everything he can to fix the problem before buying new equipment. He doesn’t have a glowing personality, but that’s not why I hired him. He is a nice guy and I think the one bad review he has here on Unilocal should be taken with a grain of salt.

SO impressed with this place. After many people could not figure out why our intercom system would not work, Mark came over and we were all up and running within 10 – 15 minutes. Then, he noticed the latch on the door was loose, and fixed that. Then he did some other adjusting and fixed the lock on the box so that it would lock even tighter and made it a 100 times more secure. And made several other minor adjustments just to give the system a tuneup. He went way above the call of duty, when most people would of fixed the issue you called about, he took the time to give our system a little over haul for NO EXTRA CHARGE! I was paying for the one hour service call (super reasonable by the way), so he took care of me.
Nice man, definitely highly recommend this company.

The «best». Mark installed the intercom-​doorbell system for our apartment building. His is a small, personal operation, straightforward, nothing fancy. He did everything he promised, no excuses. We are totally happy with the results.
