Josh has been most helpful whenever I have a problem with my computer. He’s honest and has not cost an arm and a leg (which I appreciate). He can jump into my computer and do the work without me having to take everything to him. He also keeps in touch by phone to tell me what’s going on. Thanks, Josh.

Thank you, Josh! He was able to get my semi-​old laptop up, running and (most importantly) secure for $ 60! Much less than I would have paid — and minus the serious corp headache at a large-​box computer store.
He kept me updated via text/​vm and even gave me a loaner computer! It’s a home-​based business, so just FYI that he’s located in a neighborhood. He has a couple very sweet dogs that will greet you upon arrival as well:)

Extremely great price and fixed my MacBook Pro in a flash. I had no idea what went wrong with my MacBook hard drive and brought it into Josh and he fixed it within days. Communication was vital and he provided me with updates whenever more news came. I was kept on tab with the fix and quoted me well below what a corporation company would have charged for the same service.
Definitely will be a returning customer whenever a new issue appears. Great business and definitely worth it.

My external hard drive «burnt out» on me, so Josh suggested I come over so he could look over it. He was very nice (so was his dog, haha). I was happy to know that the data was safe, I just needed a new power source for the hard drive. Josh took care of all that, and after multiple re-​scheduling for pick-​up (on my part), I finally went over to pick it up and it works again! Thank you, Josh!

Can’t thank Josh enough for his hard work in recovering my images that were irreplaceable for my clients. He was more than fair, easy to work with, and put in countless hours to recover all of my images. While I was quoted by the hour with other companies, he quoted a flat rate and even when it ended up taking a lot longer than he anticipated, he didn’t price gouge. So very grateful for all he did! I’d recommend him to anyone!

Phenomenal Service!
My MacBook Pro 2010 gave out due to Hard Drive issues and a worn out cable. I managed to get the parts needed for repair, but decided to rely on Josh’s expertise to put it together and add an OS. He did it within hours and my computer is like new! I couldn’t be more grateful.
I didn’t get to use his services for my data recovery to due time constraints on my end, but I recommend letting him do diagnostic work for you and most likely he can handle it. Most data recovery places are insanely expensive. Josh will quote a fair price.
I’d recommend him to anyone in the area. Even though I am now in the Fort Worth area, I will definitely be contacting him first if I encounter any other computer problems.
Tip: Call or text him ahead of time to make an appointment.

My laptop recently went on the fritz and according to it, the internet completely disappeared. I took it to Josh and it turns out I had some nasty malware that corrupted Windows. Josh fixed my computer and I have had zero problems since then. Everything is running much quicker and smoother as well.
Josh gave me a fair price and is extremely professional. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He also had my computer fixed fast.
Be sure to call for an appointment. When I first contacted him I got his voicemail and left a message, and Josh promptly returned my call. This is a home business, so just be sure and call ahead.
I have dealt with the «Genius Bar» and a few other corporate computer repair places in the past, and the process, diagnosis, price, and turn-​around time has always left me infuriated. My experience with World Tech Force was nothing short of stellar. If I ever have any computer problems in the future, Josh is my first choice for any repairs.

I absolutely hate dealing with computer issues… enter Josh and his confident expertise. The worst part of needing help is not knowing if I’m being ripped off or getting a great deal. Fixed my Mac (cleared it out. New os, more ram) and helped my husband get his pc ported to a new pc. Good prices, nice guy, cute dog.

Josh replaced the hard drive on my Mac and it’s working great so far. He had given me an estimated time of completion, and due to other work was unable to meet it so he gave me a discount on labor. I appreciated that and the fact that he was flexible about drop off and pick up. He was clear about the issues my computer had and very reasonable regarding pricing, and he offered his help if I needed it down the line. Hopefully, my computer should be good for awhile!

This is an update to my original review I posted in July of this year. I promise I am not trolling his reviews to make him look bad, I just want to provide an accurate account of my business with Josh. I originally sought out help to fix my computer because I was under the impression that the charger port wasn’t working. Josh quoted me about 80 dollars to fix the issue. I ended up paying about 113 dollars for additional repairs and labor cost (repairs that I was not made aware of prior to him fixing the issue). As of about a month ago my computer stopped working again with the exact same issue. I contacted Josh on a Saturday and left a message to see if he could review the work that he did and correctly fix the issue. I did not receive any correspondence from the message I left on his voicemail. I believe his follow up is a bit spotty, because I don’t believe that you should fix an issue prior to informing your customer; He was rude when I informed him that I never had an issue with my internet connection (which was the additional repairs stated above) and stated that I could get a second opinion but he knew what he was talking about. I wouldn’t utilize he service again because I don’t feel as though his customer service component was present when servicing me as a customer nor was there follow up for the on going issue in which I originally sough out his services for.

I think Josh at World Tech Force is absolutely fantastic and I’m so grateful that I found him through Unilocal,because the good reviews were spot-​on. I have a 2008 Macbook Pro that suddenly got the «white screen of death» as in, it would just stay in the initial screen without loading. Turns out my hard drive had crashed. I was devastated, because over a year’s worth of documents, programs, work, and more importantly, my pictures, were on that computer. Josh was able to go in and transfer over all of my files onto a new hard drive quickly and seamlessly. He has great customer service and when there were a few folders that hadn’t ported over correctly, he had no qualms about going back into my old hard drive and re-​retrieving everything I needed. He also made sure that he ported over my programs and took extra effort to see that the Adobe programs I previously had, worked on my new hard drive. He only charged me face value for a new hard drive ($ 85) and then for his time, which I felt was reasonable for all the work he did. He has a great attitude, was so prompt and communicative (sent me updates frequently), and ultimately got me everything back! I’m a very happy customer :)

I’ve been to several techs just to get different opinions and quotes but have yet to find better. World Tech has great prices, good quality work and is great on customer service. The word has spread throughout my job also and I get coworkers bringing me laptops and asking me for his info. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I googled «MacBook repair in Dallas, TX» and came across World Tech Force. Josh went above and beyond to make sure that my seven year old laptop worked better than I can remember. I had cracked my screen, my battery life was awful, and my hard drive was slow as molasses. Josh managed to get everything fixed in a timely fashion and was extremely professional in all communications. He actually put everything into layman’s terms so that I understood what all was going on and I never felt like I was being screwed over. I would strongly recommend World Tech Force for any computer repairs.

One day my PC just up and quit and won’t turn on for all the prayer in the world.
Brought over it to Josh and he diagnosed it for free, figured out that it was the power supply, and gave me a reasonable quote and installed the new power supply while refreshing the cooling system.
Bottom line, PC went from dead to the world to running like new, no issues whatsoever. Josh is hands down the most down-​to-​earth, helpful repair man out there, 5 stars

You can’t ask for better customer service!
After I broke my laptop so that it wouldn’t power on, I took it in for an expert opinion. He tried many things in the interest of being thorough before determining that the problem was most likely the motherboard. I’m confident his diagnosis was correct.
Since replacing the motherboard would cost more than replacing the computer, he recommended several options. All this service was provide at no charge.

I have a 2008 Macbook pro that wouldn’t power on anymore. I didn’t want to take it to the Apple store because I figured they would just tell me that I need to buy a new laptop. Josh disassembled my laptop, cleaned it, and diagnosed the problem, which was… nothing. Since he determined that there was nothing wrong with my laptop, we figured out that the issue was a bad charger. I was only charged a small fee for labor, then Josh referred me to his friend’s store down the street where I was able to purchase a new charger at a sweet discount. Josh was even nice enough to answer my pesky questions about an iTunes debacle and laptop shopping. I plan on bringing my new laptop here to get the specs maxed out instead of paying retail for a top-​of-​the-​line model.
I had my reservations about going to a private residence, but I am so glad that I did! You just don’t get this kind of service in retail settings. They certainly don’t have lovable dogs like Teddy at the Apple store. I was completely charmed by the entire experience. I don’t think I’ve ever felt «charmed» when I’ve had something repaired before, but that’s the only way to describe it.

Had a good experience with Josh. My laptop died and he tried to revive it, but it was just dead (I had owned it for several years, so it was not surprising). He didn’t charge me for this service and gave me some recommendations for buying a replacement. I purchased a new computer and gave it to Josh to transfer the laptop hard drive to my new device. He transferred the files promptly, in addition to cleaning up my new computer and installing some necessary programs (anti-​virus, office). As other members have noted, it is a home-​based business so you are just going to a private residence (duplex). This didn’t bother me, but just be mindful when you plug in the address and go to the location.

Josh was fantastic. When my laptop broke, everything went to hell. My business is run off of that laptop. I didn’t have a spare. I needed something I could write with and something I could still work with.
I showed up to Josh’s house, casually bitching to him, and he offered to give me a loaner laptop.
Well, it turned out my laptop was dead– and super dead. He worked on it, his friends worked on it, he tried replacing various parts: dead.
How much does he charge me for all that labor and 2 weeks of laptop loaning? $ 20.
Go to Josh. He busts his ass for you.
Plus, there’s a dog at his office to pet while you nod and pretend you know what you’re talking about.
