History
Established in 1982.
Private medical practice opened in 1982 for treatment of allergic diseases and asthma. Currently 2 physicians and 1 physician’s assistant seeing patients. Dr. Lumry is involved in clinical research to develop new therapies for allergic diseases and asthma and has completed over 250 clinical trials. He is a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine/Allergy Division at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He has be recognized as one of Dallas’ best doctors by D Magazine every year since 1994 and is a Texas Monthly Super Doc and belongs to Who’s Who in America. Dr. Buchmiller joined the practice in July, 2008 and specializes in both adult and children’s allergies. He is an instructor at Southwestern Medical School.

Business Owner
Dr. Lumry is a board certified Internist and Allergist. He treats adults and children with allergic diseases and asthma. A Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, he teaches at Parkland Memorial and Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
He graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, completed his internal medicine training at Washington University in St. Louis and received his clinical fellowship in Allergy and Immunology from Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California.
Dr. Lumry is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy and College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
He directs the AARA Research Center and participates actively in clinical research of new treatments for asthma and allergic diseases and hereditary angioedema. He lectures to local, national and international conferences and has published many articles in prominent medical journals on allergy and asthma.
