Brought my 94′ F-​350 in for a coolant leak. Within an hour Scott called me to let me know he had tightened one of the hoses and it had stopped the problem. They also performed a pressure test to assure there were no additional problems. Realizing they could have replaced the whole hose and probably charged me an arm and a leg including labor… they didn’t. Wildcat Automotive will be my go-​to mechanic from now on. Honesty goes a long way. Thank you Scott!

Found Wildcat Automotive thanks to Unilocal and I also experienced great customer service from Scott and his crew. He did only what he thought was necessary to fix my blower. I’m sure other places would have told be I needed a new motor but Scott felt confident that a new resistor would fix the problem. So far so good. I’ll definitely be back!

These guys are legit. I’m usually skeptical about going to auto repair shops in general. The older gentleman (Jeff or is it jim?) who sits behind the counter is so brutally honest with his assessment that I feel that they might be losing out on potential business. However, it is this honesty that made me a repeat customer and give them my $ and business. Avoid places likes Kwik kar and pep boys and take your vehicles to them instead.

This place was great, super friendly and very fast. I went in on a Saturday morning, around 8:45am, and got an oil change ($ 40). I was out of there at 9:15am, thats right, only a half an hour. Not only wat the service quick but they said that they checked all of my levels on fluids and toped them off for me, for free. They did a 27 point inspection on my vehicle and said everything looked good. Thats a great thing to hear at a shop, seeing as most places will try and get you to fix something else. All I can say is fast, honest, and friendly service. Great place!

Heard of wildcat automotive through a friend took my car in when it was making a noise. Dealership told me I needed a new alternator when I took it to Jeff Chapman at Wildcat Automotive it was literally just a cable that had come loose he had it fixed in no time at all and saved me over $ 800! Will no longer go anywhere else for my vehicle and recommend highly to everyone in the DFW Metroplex!

They was really professional and straight forward. I felt comfortable dealing with them. Like some other Automotive places have you feeling unsure. But these guys here at Wildcats, was absolutely, amazing. They even pointed out the problem. Also gave my old parts back to prove their performance. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! We were in town from Houston and our car battery ran out. They stayed late on a Saturday for us and replaced it. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We got back to Houston because of Wildcat Automotive.

I will never use another repair shop. My car started having trouble on Friday evening, so my husband took it over to Wildcat around noon on Saturday. Scott brought my husband back to our house and then took my car to work on it. They’re supposed to close at 2 on Saturday and they stayed until they finished my car around 2:30. They also noticed my Freon was low and topped it off. These guys are great!

Just got my truck back. .. anticipated a large bill for services (based on the advice from another local garage). They quickly identified the culprit, called me with a reasonable estimate, advised me that the other work was unnecessary, and fixed it right then. They turned my truck in 3 hours. .. I was anticipating being without for a couple of days.
Great guys to works with and are straight shooters. Finally, a garage that I trust.

I have been taking my vehicles here for many years. Jeff is the most honest technician I know, which in this day are hard to come by. There is never an upsell. In fact, I took my old car there for an oil change and diagnostic check and he told me «you need a new fuel filter». I passed. The next time in «you probably should replace your fuel filter». I passed again. (stupid). Summer day with the kids, car won’t start. Have it towed to Wildcat, prognosis? New oil filter… They also made a $ HVAC distribution recommendation for me based on the age and overall value of my car and saved me a ton. Having an honest dependable mechanic is like having a honest dependable plumber, as they save your arse when you are in a tough spot usually. Take your car here before the dealership, or qwik change oil places.

Dropped my wife’s Subaru off this morning and mechanic fixed it same day. Called me within 2 hours of drop off to tell me what the problems were. You could eat off the floor of the shop. Upon pickup of car, mechanic showed me all the parts he had replaced and provided me with a detailed bill with parts and labor listed separately.

Right here in Lake Highlands, Rico Padilla runs one of the best full-​service automotive shops in Dallas. Rico restores big Detroit metal, which he also races, so these guys are tops in high-​performance vehicles. He’s a great community business owner, supporter of LHHS sports, and an all-​around nice guy. I’ve been doing business with him for years.
The shop is tucked in behind Wendy’s & Taco Bell @ Walnut Hill & Audelia, so keep an eye out for them!
