Have been here several times with no problem, except for today. Not sure if there’s been a change of staff… but I’m not impressed at all. Especially by these paper thin and burned hash browns. The place was filthy and there was no communication amongst the staff. A line of complete orders sat on the ready line waiting to be taken to the customers. Witnessed one of the cooks handle food with his hand. Placing food from a returned plate onto a new plate. That can’t possibly be sanitary. I get that it was lunch hour, but there’s simply no excuse. Needless to say I won’t be going back. Really makes Waffle House look bad.

Made a special trip and used GPS to find Waffle House on corner of NW Highway and Midway: this location DOESNOTEXIST. When I called to get clarification on directions however, the line was constantly busy. We are not amused. Was looking for an alternative to the constantly jam-packed Pancake House. Will just stay home next weekend.

The food is nicely done. Moreover, the service is pretty nice too, and the price is prefect for everyone. They have a variety of American you can eat ranging from hamburger to steak, and the waiter is nice to customer and well manner. For my favorite food, I like the Steak and Egg because the steak is pretty good and the egg eat with the toast is awesome. I never forget the taste of it, and I always want more

We decided to meet at the Waffle House to have an early breakfast before going to work. My husband and I walked in and immediately sat down. We sat there for 15 minutes with no one greeting us or even acknowledging us. We would of walked out by now, but were meeting other coworkers there. We were finally asked if we had been helped and one of the waitress came and apologized and took our order. To try to get a refill on our coffee was a major challenge. We kept trying to flag our waitress down so many times. I guess we were just invisible to her. This place was full of people getting out of the clubs and the waitresses were more interested in flirting and hanging out at the guys tables. When our food finally arrived, it did not look appealing. The food was not even hot, lukewarm at best. I ended up boxing up my food and gave it to a homeless person. I gave this place one star, just to be able to post my review. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We will NEVER meet here again.

Love this place. Been to waffle house all over the country. Love their fast service and great food. Really love the pancakes. Especially the pecan pancakes. The sweet tea is like a drug. I have tried to replicate it but failed miserably. Also like that I can see where my food is being prepared.

Dear GAY Waiter that served my BF early this morning… SHAMEONYOU for providing horrible service to him mainly because he was with a homeless patron that he was trying to feed this morning. The ONLY reason why I will point out that you are GAY is because I’m sure you have spent your life being shunned, ignored and/or mistreated because of your life choice. He is one of the most mild mannered and accepting men you will ever meet in your life and for you to treat him and this cold, hungry man that he was just trying to feed was absolutely unacceptable. He was so incredibly upset when he came home after working a 16 hour work day having to deal with your attitude and lack of service and to make the comment that according to your manager that wasn’t even present that your entire staff is not allowed to serve this person EVEN if he has money… really? I hope you NEVEREVER come across the misfortune in your life that you lose your home and can’t make enough money to feed yourself. Next time you make an attempt to apologize suck it up and at least come across like you mean it… Aren’t you people supposed to be a little more sensitive in judging others?

Their waffles always hit home!!! First off, the service. As soon as we walked in…“Welcome to Waffle House”. From almost all the employees! Ummmmm awesome!!! Truly makes you feel welcome. Happens all the time. Our waitress was super sweet! «Baby this, baby that», I admit it’s my weakness! She was so attentive with my husband and I. Overall, I really love the ambiance. Everyone is so friendly and it seems they’ve all been working there a long time. Definitely super ‘homey’ like!!! The food came out fast and hot! Hash Browns were crunchy and soft and mm mm good! Waffle, awesome as always. Great prices. Can’t wait till’ next time to get our grub on! :D

Hehe, I feel so guilty saying that this place is awesome. I grew up on the west coast and for me, hearty cheap breakfast diners consisted of Denny’s and IHOP. Waffle House is just that but take the homestyle knob and turn it to max. I absolutely love it. There’s nothing fancy about it. You get what you want and how you want it. Want guilty pleasures cooked into your hash browns?! YESPLEASE! My friend and I did have to wait a bit but hey, I’m not complaining. You know a place keeps it real when you can taste residual flavors that remain on the grill from previously cooked foods. Perfect!

got the equivalent to a grand slam here. and it was goooood. hash browns with add-ins like tomatoes and jalepenos. so happy! perfect for me. got bacon that was so crispy that it would have made better bacon bits, eggs over easy with hints of butter from the grill, and four pieces of toast! omg, the toast with butter, it was not«toasted» in a toaster, but on the grill… my toasts tasted of egg, while my friend’s toast tasted of vegetables! so random but fun. no wonder we ripped through those. also got extra crispy waffles! melting my butter with that delicious syrup? yummmm! in addition, the texas location was not the cleanest, but they were unbelievably friendly. truly genuine and sweet southern hospitality. made my meal even more fantastic~! only thing i’d change… actual fresh squeezed orange juice and thick cut pieces of bacon. :]

Waffle house in our family could be its own food group. On a map, my visits to Waffle Houses country-wide would bleed into a one big red dot. So, when it came time to choose a spot for xmas dinner on my first xmas away from home, there wasn’t even a close second. Today, on this rare, white xmas, we traveled to our home away from home to have the best meal on the planet– cheese eggs with raison toast and«covered» hash-browns and it was everything a dinner time breakfast should be.

Waffle House! A staple of every neighborhood… or something like that. We all know that gourmet isn’t what they’re shooting for in the first place. They’re shooting for waffles. It’s not hard food, and they don’t put a ton of work into it, but I do have to say, I’ve always kind of enjoyed the waffles here. Not sure why. The staff at this particular location is… homey? Like. Homestyle restaurant. They enjoy what they do, and they do it well. When I came here, I had strawberry waffles, bacon, eggs, and they were all pretty decent! The restaurant itself was rather clean, and no one was smoking behind the counter. So I guess that’s a good thing! :) Anywho, I’d go here again. It’s not far most of the time, and it’s right off the highway, cheap, and generally quick. I think all Waffle Houses are due for a good re-branding and remodeling though.

This is one of my favorite WHs around town. It’s close to work and Love Field. So it’s easy to stop by and get b’fast before work or an early morning flight. I’ve found the staff to be friendly and fun. And the food is spot on at this particular WH. Very consistent, I like that. I prefer my eggs scrambled«lite» or «soft», or over easy, either way, a little runny. And they cook them the same way every time I go. The other thing I like about this location, compared to some other WH, this one is very clean. One downside for some, they only have three full size booths, the rest of setup for just two people. No problem for me, but if you’re planning to bring the family, think again.

This Waffle House has become my favorite breakfast spot. I always get the 3-egg cheese-steak omelette with chili topped hashbrowns. It tastes like heaven, the omelette consistency is perfect. And also any topping for the hashbrowns is only 35ct, amazing deal. Waiters are not too friendly sometimes but I guess that’s what happens when you work at a Waffle Hourse 7 days a week. Basically they tend to drop off your food without saying anything. But it’s efficient and I’m here for food and not for small talk. So definitely get an omelette, you’ll end up paying about 8 $ for a hearty breakfast and it tastes great. I guess I’m more of a pancake than a waffle person, the waffles didn’t stand out in my opinion.

My experience at this Waffle House makes me sad because it’s definitely not the Waffle House I know and love! After a night out in Dallas, I wanted to take my out-of-town friend to Waffle House since I’ve been raving on for so long about how wonderful it is. None of us had a smartphone, so we just drove around until we found a Waffle house. This location seemed to be fine, and I thought– WAFFLEHOUSE, where could I go wrong? Well, the service was *meh*, the food came out cold, and hashbrowns were nowhere near crispy although we asked specifically for just that. AND depressingly, the CHOCOLATEMILK that I ordered came out in a kiddie carton– granted, if they just poured the chocolate milk into a cup, I probably wouldn’t have noticed a difference, however presentation does mean a lot. STAYAWAYFROMTHISWAFFLEHOUSELOCATION!

Ohhhhh, waffle house. I wish soooo very much that you were in Washington. After a day of tailgating and football, we were driving home late at night and I saw the glorious sign for the waffle house. Then came my 15 minute rant of why we HAVE to go to the waffle house before leaving on our recent trip to Dallas. We went the next morning. I am still dreaming about my waffle and cheesy hashbrowns. Seriously. This place is an old school type of diner with the line cooks and the waitress that calls out your order. And it is reasonably priced. WIN. And the food stick to your ribs good. DOUBLEWIN. Try a waffle and a breakfast sandwich — you won’t be disappointed.

Waffle House kills Dennys in so many ways! The prices are reasonable and their steaks actually taste good! I guess it must be the Texan cows, lol! Everytime I am in Dallas, I have to hit up Waffle House at least a couple times! We need Waffle House to be branched off to Southern California!
