Helene is very rude and unprofessional. Got a groupon and I couldn’t schedule an appointment for over 3 months! Then when I show up 3 months later for my appointment, she says she can’t honor my groupon and wants me to pay the full price, $ 130. A small business owner should treat her customers with respect, not refuse to honor their own groupon and demand for more money.

Helene is AMAZING! I have received facials at many different spas all over the place – Chicago, Indiana, Vermont, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc. I cannot even begin to compare her’s to the others. She is so through and knowledgeable. I love how my face feels and looks when I get finished. The whole experience is wonderful. She really takes her time and gets deep in there. I remember Helene telling me that she does not mess around when it comes to extractions – which I LOVE! You definitely get your money’s worth with Helene. She is pleasant to talk to throughout and gives awesome tips for your skincare. I have been to Helene three times now and I am so sad that I will be moving away soon. I hope to see her one more time before I move out of Dallas, but honestly, I would make the trip out here just for a facial! She is the best. Come see her, you will NOT be disappointed! :)

Horrible customer service!!! I bought a Groupon. First, it was very difficult to get a hold of Helene. Once I was able to speak to her, she stated she had no available appointments for the Groupon offer that her next open slot would be in May. I asked if she would honor the offer if I went ahead and scheduled now. She was very rude and I got a very determined NO, that I had months to schedule with her and it was not her fault I waited this long. She didn’t offer any solution when I asked if she could call me during a cancellation stating I am very flexible with dates and times. Just by this I would not recommend her and after reading other reviews and the poor customer service they received after their appointment I am glad I was not able to schedule an appointment with such an unprofessional person.

I NEED Helene!!! I found her about 6 yrs ago by purchasing a Groupon and have been a loyal (every six weeks) customer ever since! I’ve been getting facials for about 17 yrs and she’s the best I’ve found. She takes her time and does what your face needs. Her expertise is comforting and she always goes above and beyond to make my facial experience feel super personal, which I appreciate. Over the years I’ve grown to know Helene more, since I see her about every 6 weeks, and would recommend her services to anyone– I even brought my mother to her! It may be hard for some to get an appt– but think about it… if she wasn’t good, she’d be super available. Being busy says a lot about how people want and need her services. So, try her and I’m positive you’ll look amazing after– your skin will thank you!

Helene was rude for a one hour facial which ended in about 45 – 50 minutes. Her attitude was rude the entire time. She didn’t even steam my face before extractions which can cause my pore to scare. Rude service I would not recommend going here unless you want someone to work on your face who is not gentle or thorough. She also is extremely rough around your eyes when removing masks and knowing this is the thinnest skin in your face she should know better and be gentle and avoid scrubbing it. The more I think about it the more upset I get about how terrible her service was. Running straight back to exhale.

Owner was extremely unprofessional, should not be in this field in she does not know how to deal with customers in a pleasant way. I called 3 months before my groupon vouvher expired and she stated that she was booked until after the expiration date so my only option was to use the promotional value towards the service and pay the difference. On the contrary Groupon states this on their website– «If a business is fully booked as the expiration date nears, your appointment can be for any available date — even after the promotional value expires — as long as you schedule your appointment before expiration.»

Worst customer service! Made an appointment 3 months in advance (because that was the first opening) then the day before my appointment was diagnosed with the flu. Helene was extremely rude and told me she would absolutely not reschedule me and would not give me my money back! I offered a copy of my flu test with the date and time, but she refused to work with me! Even reschedule 2 months out. I have never been treated with such disrespect… Considering I was contagious and would have most likely infected her… I would never recommend her service.

Got a groupon for Xmas. No appointments available until late February (25^th). Boo. I guess that’s why there are no regular checkin.
Also the person on the phone was extremely unprofessional sounded more like a teenager on the phone than a business… not sure I would trust them with my face even if I wanted to wait around for an appt. epic fail– trying to get my money back from Groupon. I guess you get what you pay for. :/​. New Years Resolution — no more spa «deals» from Groupon.

I had a very good experience here — the location is a touch tricky the first time you go, but it is nice that there is free valet (until 6:30pm). This was my first facial and I was very impressed. She knew exactly what were the issues with my skin and gave me several tips to help with the redness. I would absolutely recommend this spa to anyone.

I visited Urban Skin Care and had my first facial in over 2 years. Man I needed it. Helene was great. I feel like she took my special needs into account, instead of just applying a cookie-​cutter type facial. Loved her minty mask at the end. My skin still feels clean and it’s glowing. I already made a follow-​up appointment. Excited I found this place.

I was fortunate to purchase a coupon deal for a facial here and I found a true gem. Helene is an absolute MASTER at what she does, and I had plans to return but I had a bunch of facial deals to use up first. After the awful facial I experienced since at Faceology, I’m even more sold on Urban Skin Care and will not be buying any more facial deals off LivingSocial or Groupon because I will be going to Helene loyally from here on out. First off, the whole vibe/​atmosphere of Urban Skin Care oozes relaxation. She has the type of personality that is soothing in itself, and it transcends through her spa design, furnishings, and her touch. I remember having the distinct impression that she must either play the piano or she is a paintbrush artist because it felt like hers was the touch of a maestro. I wasn’t even that tired, but I fell asleep during the massage and was so relaxed that I actually snored! LOL! My skin looked fantastic, and she is truly a sweetheart to boot. Wonderful service.

OMG!!! Helena is the ABSOLUTE best!!! I have been to many, however the buck stops here. Helena diagnosed my skin condition just as the dermo. My FACE is the best and cleanest ever!!! She is not pushy and does not push product down your throat. After my first session, I booked out for the rest of the year! My daughter loved her right off from 1^st visit. She cleaned her face and it was such a noticeable difference. Helena is very knowledgable in the business!!!

, and decided to take advantage of the offer. Today I had my Galvanic facial with her and I was BEYOND impressed with her kindness, professionalism, knowledge, and skills! :)
The atmosphere is serene and comfortable and the facial is TOP NOTCH! My skin looks as good as it feels and I can’t wait to go back for another appointment.
WARNING: Be prepared to experience what it feels like to be STRESS-​FREE and ULTRA RELAXED! :) Coupon or not, Helene is worth every cent and then some!

Awesome experience. I went in for a Chemical Peel. The Esthetician was very informative, she explained the procedure and gave me a helpful product list (that I can get at most cosmetic stores) that will help me keep my skin moisturized and young looking. I definitely will be back!
