When it comes to North Dallas and studio spaces you unfortunately don’t have many options. Unless there are other studios I’m not aware of, you basically have two choices: this place and Jamstation(I believe it’s now called NuJamstation). I’m currently a Boston resident, where there’s a nice selection of studios nearby to choose from, but recently found out I’m moving to North Dallas, so I was in the market for a studio space… I want to note that I have not physically visited either location yet, and have only seen pictures. So my review is solely based on customer service, which should be a paramount factor for any business. I first called NuJamstation where they were were very accommodating and friendly. After receiving the information I was looking for on the phone, I decided to give his place a call to compare prices. I do have to admit on the phone the individual was very accommodating and friendly as well. There was a studio space here that recently had been renovated and was vacant, so I requested if he could send me pictures. The individually happily agreed, and within a few minutes I received some great pictures. I stated the pics look good, and he replied this unit is actually dimension smaller than what he original told me on the telephone. Honest mistake, and was not an issue at all for me. At that point, I simply replied with a thank you, and stated that the price he was asking for might be a bit too much for the newly stated correct dimensions. To most, that would merely branch to two possibilities: 1) Let me negotiate a bit with this person who seems interested or 2) Sorry, that’s the lowest price I can go. Which is totally fine by me. However, what I can’t seem to understand is, as a business owner how you can reply back to the customer with: Np, I could tell this is out of your price range. Jam station is a better option for you. Although this is beside the point, I’d like to stop here for a second and point out that my studio in Boston is at least 4 to 5 times the price of what got quoted to me here. So as a matter of fact, No. This is actually from a cost perspective a dream situation to get off this cheap. Secondly, I find it borderline insulting to PRESUMEANDSTATE to your customer he or she can not afford your product. And third, well I took his advice … I’m going to JamStation. Hopefully your experience will be different.

my band has been using both Universal Rehearsal spaces(Dallas and Arlington) for years. We love the environment and the staff is always helpful. Great space for the value and booking time is a breeze. check them out if you’re in need of a legit rehearsal space!!!
