Business Owner
Born in Baton Rouge Louisiana, David Anthony Temple always had an eye for cooking. Growing up from ages 4 — 12 by farms in Amelia, Virginia raising chickens and eating local meats and produce allowed him to be introduced to a farm to table way of life at an early age. After graduation of grade school in Doyline, LA in 2001 he moved onto Dallas, TX working as a bartender and server at many top dining establishments. After travels and stints in kitchens in San Diego and Honolulu, Chef DAT went back home to Louisiana to freshen up his skills and palate. In 2009, he created the Chef DAT Underground Dinners in Dallas, TX and quickly expanded to New Orleans, Houston, Colorado, San Francisco, Sonoma, Portland and Honolulu. Now 5 years later David Anthony Temple is the Chef/Owner of Twenty-Seven, his eclectic take on a Michelin star quality restaurant.
