Turkey Hill Minit Market

ICED TEA RULES!
its got a consistancy unlike any ive ever had, but its so friggin good!
plus Tastycakes rule so hard i could explode!

I come here for three things only.
1. Tastykake pies (it usually has the best selection)
2. Middleswarth chips (I know you can get them anywhere in NEPA, but I swear they taste best from here)
and 3. TURKEY HILL ICED TEA! Best pre-​fab iced tea ever (at least in the States [Kirin makes some awesome teas in Japan] – only competitors are Oakhurst Dairy near Portland, Maine, and Galliker’s Dairy in Johnstown – maybe Snapple peach). Especially the orange iced tea. Thankfully, even though it’s expanded throughout most of the East and part of the Midwest (not Chicago, though!), it still is made with and tastes like real tea (though they use more HF corn syrup than they did when I was a kid and even more than ten years ago).
This is one of the friendlier Turkey Hills. This and the one on Scott Street in Wilkes-​Barre. I prefer this one, though the other has a lot of sentimental value (always packed a big bag at that one full of Tastykakes and Middleswarth and as much Turkey Hill tea as I could for the Martz bus ride to NYC and the train up to Boston – much of my haul would be consumed before I got back).
