That was the most uncomfortable shopping experience of my life. I only went in, because I had a gift certificate, but ended up not buying or trying on anything, because the saleswoman was so awful and we just wanted to get out of there. She followed us around the store and commented on everything we looked at or touched. After telling her 3 times that I was not going to buy a bra, she still insisted on measuring me for a bra. When I told her that I had already been professionally fitted for a bra at another specialty bra store, she said «I can tell you right now by looking at you that they fitted you wrong». I will never go back in that store.

They have awesome lines like huit, which I love. Pricing seemed normal for me. Was just a bit uncomfortable with the saleslady who came in the fitting room with me as I tried on. Guess I’m just shy though!

Is there no where in the world a big busted girl can go and get a good bra for a decent price??? The answer is no… no there isn’t. I had high hopes for Trousseau’s and was greatly disappointed. I had just been sized at Nordstrom. Unfortunately I didn’t like any of their bras and didn’t want to spend $ 85 on a bra I didn’t love. My size is hard to find in store so I went to Trousseau. The first time I went in the owner sized me. I told her I had just been sized and told her the sizing. She placed me in a much larger band than Nordstrom. It was very very loose around but the cups were fine. She said ignore the size label because they all fit differently. She guaranteed me this was the correct size by looking at me even though I kept saying it felt loose… I figured she was the expert so I bought the $ 125 bra and ordered another one since that was the only 1 they had in stock. $ 250+ bucks on this transaction. I was told it would be 2 – 3 weeks until they received the bra they had to order. Fast forward 4 weeks and still no call from the store so I go by and ask where my bra is. I was told that oooops they never placed the order. I was required to pay for it before they would order it and yet they never placed the order. I was very frustrated because not only had I waited a month for a bra they was never ordered, the bra I had taken home was too big. I let the lady know that the band on the bra kept riding up and was too loose. She took a look and said yes this is too big. Put me in 1 that was smaller and said this is the correct size and told me to take that one in place of the one Id already paid for that was never ordered. No mention of exchanging the poorly fitting bra that they guaranteed fit perfectly. All in all very frustrating to be out over $ 250 for two bras and neither of them fit well. I honestly feel that during both trips the ladies put me in bras they had in stock and pushed them on me to get rid of inventory. I won’t go back. If you do go there, don’t allow yourself to be talked into a purchase you won’t be happy with. Go with your gut. Oh and to be fair, the shop is beautiful. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 1 star.

The customer service here was excellent. And I bought stuff for my wedding I really loved. However, it was quite a bit overpriced.

Totally awesome stuff here, Instead of having big and bulky bras that just irritate the crap out of me I got fitted into a lovely light and airy bra that still give my large chest all the support it needs, the shape ware is too legit, its so light and airy as well I love wearing it on a daily basis since I just had a baby, and its so chic looking it integrates into night time affairs as a set up with lingerie. Totally love this place.

Had a great time at a bachelorette party here. And learned a ton. Will definitely be back!

Love this store! I was in desperate need of a good fitting bra and they did not disappoint! She (the owner) brought me several to try and she was right about the fit (don’t go by the size, go by the fit)!
I’ll be back after I lose more weight to get a few. Didn’t want to buy more than one… yet. The owner is very kind and they know their stuff. Very few places have actual «fitters» like they used to, so this is the place to go! My new bra makes me look so much better!

This place is classy, sophisticated and very cheek!!! If you are looking for a place where you get one on one with the staff who listen to your needs, this is the place to go. Not only was I helped by the staff, I was greeted and welcomed by the owner who helped me pick out some beautiful one of a kind pieces, including the perfect strapless bra that not only gives me a lift, but one I don’t have to worry about pulling up every two seconds (which could be embarrassing). I recently got engaged and used this strapless bra to fit my wedding dress and what a difference it made!!! Thank you Trousseau!
The price is not bad at all for the quality of service and product you are getting. They also allowed me to register and pick out some items I loved so that my fiancé doesn’t make the mistake of getting me something I would dislike or wouldn’t fit into.
They also explain clearly that they do not allow returns or exchanges which I’m happy for because I know I’m not buying something that was worn or used by someone else. Besides, who would want to return anything you buy??? … This place is fabulous! And their items are worth it! I highly recommend this place and I am definitely going to consider having my bridal shower here!

Terrible experience overall. If no stars was an option that would have been my choice. Went with a friend because she wanted to be measured for an accurate fit. The lady stood behind her and measured her with her hands. No tape measure in sight. Poor selection and extremely overpriced for the quality.

I have been to a lot of lingerie stores prior to this one, and so I have expectations about what the service should be like. Let me break down what I think of each section.
Store Appearance: 4 stars
Very nice and clean. Could stand to be a more intimate, but overall nice.
Selection: 3 Stars
It’s not great, but it’s not bad. They have some unique pieces (but very expensive). The rest is okay. Standard fare you would see at a department store, but slightly more expensive.
Customer Service: 1 Star
The one reason I will not go back is because of the service. I would like to go into a store and not feel pressured to buy. However, I went through 18 different outfits, the owner told me what she thought looked good on me, and disregarded my opinion. At the end, I was pressured to buy more than I was expecting, and I regret it. I will be taking it up with my credit card so I don’t have to deal with the experience other customers have had with her, but I would recommend NOT returning here. You will absolutely feel pressured to buy, and when I shop, I want to know my needs will be front and center… not just the sales.
Conclusion: Expect to be pressured to buy here. I will be going elsewhere.

I’ve shopped at Trousseau’s three or four times now and I have to say it’s one of my favorites. Some of the reviews here speak to «pushy» of «pressured» service, but after being a repeat customer I can tell you it’s just the eagerness to please and a «hyper» personality. The store owner is more than happy to pull a huge assortment of things for you to try on. If you feel pressured by this, it can be uncomfortable. If you’re like me and don’t know where to start, it feels like a personal shopper ~ which I LOVE. I always plan to spend close to an hour in this tiny shop because it’s just that fun. My husband has been with me several times as well and he’s always made to feel comfortable, gets input on what we pick out and gets to enjoy part of the show. If you’re happy with Victoria’s Secret and you want a cookie cutter black bra go there, it’s cheaper and will guarantee your size. If you want something different, luxury and sexy, definitely check out Trousseau’s! This is the stuff you see in the movies. My only wish is that they had a bigger location with even more things to try on.

Trousseau of Dallas is a horrible business. Not only were we constantly pressured throughout our shopping experience — pushed through trying things on so quickly that we didn’t have time to look at price tags and then pressured into the purchase before we could process that we were getting 4 items for $ 850!!! Then when we had a day to think about it and return a $ 500+ bustier, she refused the return.
And she had no idea how to process our Living Social deal so she came up with some cockamamie scheme that also ended up costing me money on top of that. She undoubtedly did this to all the people who bought this deal.

This was my first time to go to a lingerie boutique, get sized, and all that good stuff. My boyfriend bought the Groupon ($ 50 for $ 100), and I was worried that I would only walk out with 1 bra due to how expensive boutiques can be. I was completely wrong! We were first greeted by a woman who, I can only assume, owns the store or at least was the manager. I felt compelled to tell her that I had never been sized or even bought a bra that was actually my correct size. She just gave off an extremely comforting disposition, which I feel is very important because shopping for a perfect fitting bra can be incredibly awkward.
Anyways, I told her that I’m not the flashiest person and she immediately found me about 10 bras that I could have easily walked out of the store with. She gave me a couple of pointers about shopping for bras and finding the best fitting cup size. She also made my boyfriend feel incredibly confortable, which is quite difficult to do because he is so awkward at times. :-)
This store CAN be expensive if you want to buy beautiful, lavishly-​delicate bras and panties. However, they have reasonably priced items as well that are similar in pricing to Victoria’s Secret and just as pretty. They also take down your name, size, and notes about what your style is so you can create a wish list that they store in their computer. You or your significant other can then call the store whenever you want, order whatever is on the wish list or whatever they pick out (because they know what you like) and they will mail it to you anytime if you can’t make it to Oak Lawn.
All in all, they set the standards for future lingerie boutiques for me. They were hands on (literally) and incredibly knowledgeable about all of their items. I walked out with a bra and matching panties and a babydoll top for a $ 100 and I wear the bra all the time because its THE MOST confortable one I have ever worn.

I did not realize what a terrible experience I had at Trousseau until I visited another lingerie store where I was actually treated with respect. So even though my visit was back in November, I’m writing this review now.
After reading recommendations online, I walked into Trousseau ready to spend hundreds of dollars, if necessary, on the perfect bridal lingerie. I went mid-​day in mid-​week, hoping to find the store empty so that I could really focus on finding some beautiful, flattering underthings.
I told the sales clerk first things first: I wanted Spanx or a variation thereof, and a waist cincher with strapless bra or corset. She handed me the one pair of Spanx they had (or whatever the brand is) and asked me my bra size. I told her I didn’t know because I’d never been measured. So off to the dressing room we go.
She never measured me. She asked what my bra size was again, I told her AGAIN that I didn’t know but that I’d been wearing whatever size for years, and she was like well we’ll just estimate. She then brought in a series of WAY too small items, trying to convince me each time that this item would fit properly. They offered only one kind of waist cincher, which was much shorter than I needed to suit my long torso. When I asked if they had other options, she looked at me like I was crazy to even think such a thing might exist and couldn’t I just be happy with this one?
We finally determined that probably the best size was one they did not have in stock, and instead of offering to order that size for me immediately or offering to order a longer waist cincher that was closer to what I wanted, she said probably the too-​small one would work. My wedding was months away at that point, and I was in no hurry. She was just so obviously trying to get me to buy a $ 90 cincher that did not fit and was not what I wanted.
(FWIW, I am a 36dd — not an especially unusual size, which I later learned at the better lingerie store that actually took time to measure and fit me properly. To my mind, there is no reason to not have that in stock in most items at all times. Especially not at a place that claims to be the greatest lingerie store in the world.)
I ended up buying the Spanx because whatever, everybody looks decent in Spanx, and when I was checking out, the sales woman pushed me to register there and have a bridal shower where my friends could come buy me more stuff. Which I would happily have done if I had gotten great service and felt like their selection was up to snuff, but seriously lady, you just tried to sell me items that didn’t fit and don’t appear to carry my size as a regular practice? Are you kidding me?
This place is a perfect example of how three-​digit price tags and fancy digs don’t necessarily guarantee quality.

I came here after buying a Gilt City Voucher, $ 50 for $ 100 worth of merch, and after having recently been fitted by a wonderful expert on all things boobielicious at Intimacy. They seem to have tons of merch but not so much on the sizes, which I understand since it’s a boutique, but also you kinda have to dig through the racks to find your size. Unlike VS or Intimacy where you can just pull out a drawer full of your size. So I pulled some things to try and nothing seems to be fitting. The girl working pulls some more things for me, and really puts the pressure on me buying something i know is not my size and too big around. Please no, I know how these are supposed to fit and look. She just didn’t seem very knowledgeable about how to fit me, and maybe it’s because she knew they just don’t stock my size in much? I finally decided on one that worked and went to check out and here comes the don’t you want the matching panty sell… um no thanks. I barely found a bra to fit.
Overall, nice store and selection but I’m glad I went to Intimacy first to get fitted, I don’t think I would have had a very good first time fancy lingerie experience here.

So here’s the story.
It all began with a Groupon for Trousseau of Dallas ($ 60 off $ 100). I’ve seen the Groupon before and ignored it but it kept nagging and nagging, «BUY ME»…and so I did and am I glad I did! :)
I really like this store, it’s small but the pieces are elegant and classy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a Victoria’s Secret fan, but if you want something unique, go to Trousseau. Trousseau compared to Victoria’s Secret is like Gucci compared to Coach. Their lingerie is top of the line, designer pieces. Nasrin is the owner and she’s the one who helped me. She picked out pieces for me that looked and felt awesome!!! I ended up buying a La Perla set, and she placed the other items on my wishlist for when I come back, and boy am I coming back! :D

The most gentle and comfortable way to shop for lingerie.
At Trousseau I was perfectly fitted and also given options that fit my body. I’m a curvy girl and it is so nice to have someone understand my curves and what looks best on me. The best part is that they kept all my measurements on file along with what style fit me right. So if I’m in a hurry they can send items to me! If you are local they will deliver to you!
Plus I love the fact that not only do these pieces make me look and feel sexy, they are one of kind, unique designs that are so very special. There were so many great options and a range of prices. I actually got great European lingerie and some pieces were less than what you would pay at your run of the mill lingerie store!
Recently engaged, I spoke to them about planning a bridal shower. Not only will they host the shower, but they provide champagne and hors d’oevres. The best part is that I can make a wish list and people can come give a monetary gift towards the pieces I want, instead of buying me a bunch of things that wont fit that I just have to return. Plus its sooo pretty!
I highly recommend Trousseau for everyday wear, special items, and shape-​wear. They have everything to accommodate formal-​wear so you feel secure without showing off bands, lines, and straps!

I don’t really like bras. Uncomfortable, awkward to shop for, expensive… Honestly, I try to find clothes that don’t require me to wear them, and since I’m kind of small up top, I succeed once in a while. But most of the time, outfits require undergarments. After a failed attempt to find a strapless bra at Victoria’s Secret and Nordstrom, I remembered this little shop, just down the way from The Mint and La Duni.
As soon as I walked in, the shopkeeper greeted me and asked if she could help. Indeed she could. She asked what I needed and what size I wore. Then she looked at my chest carefully and pulled a bra of the rack for me to try. She actually came into the dressing room and put it on me, and sure enough, perfect fit. Totally comfortable, ideal cut for under my outfit, exactly the right size (not the size I expected AT ALL).
The sale didn’t feel aggressive; she just knew her business. I did look online for the bra after I got home, and it was cheaper than in the store; however, I don’t feel that I overpaid. The price for the strapless bra didn’t exceed what I saw at the other stores I’d visited, I’m definitely willing to pay a little more for the expertise anyway. I couldn’t have found this online by myself.
The store had tons of cute and unique items, ranging from $ 20 to $ 200+, and it isn’t your run of the mill Victoria’s Secret stuff that everyone else is wearing. I’d definitely shop here again for myself or for special gifts. Now that I see the Unilocal coupon, I think I’ll have to go back soon!

Ladies, this lingerie isn’t for the shy schoolgirl (no pun intended) who plays nice. This stuff is for women who want to show their goods. I mean, why else would you buy a $ 80 bra with frilly pink lace and bows?
I walked in looking for a shower gift for one of my dearest friends. From what I know, she’s no adventurer in the bedroom… I was looking for something cute but casual so she will feel comfortable in it.
The shop owner greeted me warmly and asked what I was looking for. She got her description, sizes, my budget and went to work pulling things for me. I hit the sales rack after gazing at a few price tags and thankfully found something in my budget and that is freaking adorable.
The owner pulled a few things that fit around or just over my budget — while all were cute and a little frilly (including a pair of undies that had «I DO» in rhinestones), I was already stuck on my first item.
Then the sales pressure hit. «Well don’t you want to get her a pair of bottoms to go with the slip?» I shook my head and she insisted again, then I finally put my foot down gently and she backed off.
She wrapped up the gift in a cute little bag, complete with a bow and gift receipt. She also notified me that they host birthdays and showers, complete with free fittings, champagne and appetizers. By the details she went into, I’m guessing that’s her push during this slow economy.
I left with a cute little something for less than $ 40 — not too shabby, considering I saw price tags going anywhere from $ 18 to $ 245.
