Highly recommend! I took my HP laptop in to be checked. Had tons of malware and spyware. Tran cleaned and deleted everything for $ 59. Geek Squad wanted to charge $ 130. Super nice and had donuts and coffee!

As a professional photographer other than my camera gear my computer is the most important piece of equipment I have. Several times I have taken my computers to Tran and they have always done a great job! Today right in the middle of my busiest(Christmas) season I drop my laptop. My husband says take it to Tran right now, on a Saturday morning, I did and was afraid I wouldn’t have it the rest of the weekend and asked how quick they could get it fixed. The guy at Tran said would an hour work? So I can’t thank them enough for getting me back on track and so quick!

So this place is probably a geeks heaven or a time warp into the computer past. They have plenty of computer parts and older computers. Everything from monitors, shells, hardware and much much more. My experience with Tran is for computer repair. It appears that this is a family business. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I witnessed them being very courteous to an older/retired guy who had a problem with a previous repair. I have to say that was a good sign. And as far as my issue goes. they weren’t able to help me, but they surely were nice enough for me to come back if I need them. Tran Computer is a a warehouse style place with a lot of things packed into a every available space.

Having been in the technology industry running my own technology consulting business I have worked with Tran Computer and the owner Kim for well over 10 years. While our own consulting firms focus is on serving business clients we routinely recommend Tran for personal computer service and repair. The technicians demonstrate a high level of technical skill and Kim runs a no nonsense operation. They will diagnose your computer and let you know if it is repairable and how much it will cost. Often the cost is equal to a new computer and Tran is good about advising you of this. I recommend all of my friends visit this local gem for personal computer services. I still refer our clients needing personal repairs to their computers! A+ certified repair center run with integrity!

Anytime I’ve had a problem with an older computer and needed parts that were probably obsolete, I always know I can go to Tran and find it. They are efficient and knowledgeable, not to mention they will most likely have what you need at a very decent price.

Simple repair diagnosed and completed within minutes: Old Faithful blew a power supply. Based on reviews, and knowing where Tran is because I live here, I carried ‘er in and described the problem. Tran fixed it there on the spot for $ 43 plus tax. No complaints here.

I’m a computer guy, have been one since 3rd grade when I got and Apple II. This place has lots of stuff, so if you need it they probably have it: –28.8 modem — Sure! –Keyboard with old-school PS/2 plug — Sure! –Compaq Proliant Quad PIII Xeon — probably. –Copy of Lotus 123 for a Win98SE machine — Yes. So why two stars, too expensive. You can’t go there and buy old computer stuff like I’d like to, and that is why I think he has so much stock, everything is too expensive for the casual computer guy to buy – I only go there if I really need something.

If you’re having issues with your computer, whether it’s a notebook for your personal use and entertainment or a desktop that you have for business purposes, Tran Computer is a great place to find help. The owners are really wonderful people: Kim Do, Tony Tran and Tan Do. They will do everything in their power to fix your computer problems, within reason and they won’t charge you an arm and a leg to do it either. In addition to technical help, they sell a wide variety of computer hardware and software, new and used, from Microsoft mice to video cards and external hard drives. They’re open in Casa Linda from 8 – 5 Monday through Friday and 9 – 4 on Saturdays if you work during the week. Multiple times in the past few years if I’ve had issues with my pc, they’ve managed to help me out of a bind. Definitely keep them in mind before considering other service options or paying a premium for hardware and software at other retail stores!
