No really, this place is incredibly awesome. It’s been in Dallas a while, but it hasn’t been until recently that I decided to go and try it out. It’s incredibly convenient, located right off of 75 and Walnut Hill. The parking is plentiful, and I like that there is a light right off of Walnut Hill that makes getting in and out of incredibly easy.
Ok. The food. OMG. The food!!! As soon as you walking you’re greeted by a small section of produce. Everything looks fresh, and I bought two of the largest cauliflower heads for $ 1.99! The demo station (my lucky day) had their famous Tikka Masala with garlic Naan. I grabbed one of those, and I’m glad I did! It was perfect with their Edamame Hummus.
Additionally, I purchased the whole wheat pizza dough for around a buck. It was chewy and full of yeast flavor, not something you would expect from a whole wheat dough.
Finally – their tarte de’allace. This ish is the ish. It is a frozen pizza-​like tarte that is covered in Gruyère cheese, sweet onions, and smoky ham bits.
The kids working there are all kind and definitely not fazed by the modern life, at least, it didn’t seem that way. They were quick to make conversation and eager to just be pleasant. It was a nice touch to end my trip! I cannot wait to go back tomorrow!

I love Trader Joe’s, and this is a great Trader Joe’s. Located right off of US-​75 South, in the same shopping center as Modmarket and Pakpao Thai, it feels shiny and new (although I’m not sure how new it really is). At Trader Joe’s you can always count on two things: unique, delicious food that you didn’t know you needed in your life, and SAMPLES! Always samples. It never fails. They have a little kitchen with a counter in the back dedicated to samples. Usually more than one, it’s great. And often there are wine samples to enjoy while you shop. It really enhances the (already enjoyable) Trader Joe’s shopping experience.
On my visit to this location, I found the employees to be incredibly friendly and helpful. When I asked one employee (standing behind the samples counter, clearly in the middle of something) where I could find non-​Dairy cheese, he insisted on walking me over to the section himself, all while making friendly conversation with a smile. The cashier that rang up my purchases joked around with me and bagged my items lightning fast.
Unlike other grocery stores, Trader Joe’s does not have a very large produce section. They have SOME produce (lots of apples and bananas) but not a lot of refrigerated vegetables (like broccoli or asparagus) and the ones they do have are pre-​washed and packaged. They also have a very small toiletries section (for example, they sell toothpaste, but not floss). It’s definitely a more boutique grocery store. Come here to find awesome frozen foods, delicious treats, great wine, specialty cheeses… all at a surprisingly good price.

Everybody has their TJ product pics… their favorite items that are only offered by the friendly grocers in Hawaiian shirts. Cheap wine, obscure nut varieties, frozen foreign foods from Trader Juan or Trader Ming.
But I also would like to encourage Trader Joe fans old and new to direct their attention to some of the legendary «Opportunity Buys.» Sometimes they are marked, and sometimes they are not. Sometimes they are everywhere, and sometimes they are a little harder to find. Sometimes you have to enter the store with the faith of a child waiting for Christmas. Keep your eyes peeled and these bargains will materialize. Yes Virginia, there really is a saffron sauce. Thai red curry too, in case you were looking. Is that your favorite wine at half the price that you pay at other stores? Triple cream brie at single cream savings? Asparagus for 99 cents a pound this week? Aye Aye captain… fill up me basket.
Are you on the fence as to whether Bubbie’s Pickles and Sauerkraut (in the refrigerated section) sounds brilliant or revolting? Ask to taste it (or anything you are curious about) and it will be opened and offered to you on the spot.
But the absolute best part of Trader Joe’s is the fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, and outstanding prices in the floral section. Don’t go expecting your favorite name brands, they may or may not be there. Also don’t expect to find a variety of cleaning products, pet food or paper plates or plastic forks. This place is about food.
So go forth with these new gems of Trader Joe wisdom and shop confidence. Once you are there, check out some of my TJ favs:

I love Trader Joes for many reasons. First, it’s cheap as hell. Because they already have low prices, you will likely never get stuck in a line interminably because some old snatch wants a rain check on Lean Cuisine or because someone is arguing about some sale price they probably misread anyway. Secondly, they have good essentials. This won’t be a place to going you need light bulbs or bug spray, but when it comes to foodstuffs, they have everything an average human could want. They have good, cheap, apparently organic produce. They have convenience foods for the less kitchen-​minded. They have wine and beer and freakin macaroons! Honestly, their macaroons are about $ 5 for a dozen and just as good as one of those snobbish cookie boutiques.
Thirdly, not only do they have almost everything I ever have on my shopping list, they also have great flowers. You walk in and front and center are some really nice and affordable bouquets, herbs, cinnamon wreaths (at Christmas), succulents, etc. it’s a nice little add on in my opinion. Many a TJ’s flower arrangement have graced my dining room table.
Now, the store itself isn’t huge like a Kroger, but it doesn’t need to be. Oddly, in such a small space, human shoppers are somehow able to navigate more efficiently and with more courtesy than at other bigger supermarkets.
This however does not apply to the parking lot. Eff that lot. It’s small, it’s circuitous, and every entitled pendejo in a Lexus drives like they have sole ownership of every space in that lot. I’ve seen more vehicular aggression in this lot than at Monster Jam.
Anyway, the last thing I’ll say is that unlike basically every other place you trade money for goods, the employees here don’t act like they’re above working at a grocer. Everyone is nice, personable, attentive, and they can pack a grocery bag like they’re competing in a Tetris championship. It seems like a decent gig for decent folks making some scratch. I will continue to be a shopper here for all of the above — parking lot be damned.

I used to shop at the ones in Southern California when I lived there. I recently moved to Dallas and wanted to start shopping at Trader Joes again since I hadn’t since I moved away from CA almost 2 years ago. I like this store, the employees are friendly and they have all the same stuff I used to get back in CA.

I love Trader Joe’s especially this one for couple of reasons. Fresh produce for a reasonable price, check out’s are usually faster but please avoid going on a Sunday’s, flower section its not as quite as huge as compared to Central Market/​Whole foods but its does have a variety of them, and the only downfall is the parking can be a bit pain. But overall the staff are super friendly and very clean grocery store.

I LOVE Trader Joes! We don’t have one in Oklahoma, so this is the one that I visit whenever I’m in Dallas. The products are awesome, I particularly love the Cookie Butter! You can only get it here, and it’s to die for! I definitely recommend it for your next visit.

I love Trader Joe’s everywhere, and this new store is great. I can walk here from my in-​laws’ house. Eric R. and I took a stroll over here on Saturday morning and initially planned to get only non-​perishable items. However, in the frozen section I saw something I never thought I would ever see… chicken soup dumplings! Eric R. once lived in China and loves Xiao Long Bao. XLB is usually filled with pork and pork broth (and maybe crab and other stuff), so I had collected a recipe, recently made my Grandma’s chicken soup recipe, and planned to make my broth gelatinous so I could make him a chicken version of XLB. This is very labor intensive and I am glad I need not do this because TJ’s makes these! So we grabbed these, then decided we must buy other frozen things like sticky toffee pudding, mushroom mochi bites, and pumpkin tamales. Now we knew we had to check out bags back on the plane.
Then we sampled pumpkin soup with a parmesan crisp and had to buy those things. We found pumpkin pie in a jar, and I also replenished our near-​empty pecan praline granola box… mmm! I also grabbed the fireworks chocolate bar (pop rocks and chilies!) and more green tea mints. On Sunday, we ended up putting the frozen food with ice packs in a box and checking it, and the food was still frozen when we got back home. We went straight from the airport to the house, steaming the chicken soup dumplings in 10 minutes and both scarfing down 3 each. Now I have to get back to TJ’s to buy a ton of these because they were amazing!!! Oh, and of course the cashier had that fantastic personality that TJ’s employees always have. This is a great place to shop!

I love Trader Joe’s! From all of the fresh produce to the specialty products that only they carry, I can’t get enough! I especially like this location since it’s on my way home and like all Trader Joe’s, the staff is extremely nice/​helpful.
In addition to their produce section, they have a great frozen food aisle. From Indian meals to seafood, they have something for everybody. Also, they have a sample station, which is usually showcasing one of their frozen items. I know I am guilty of walking into the store set on getting just what’s on my list, but after visiting the sample station, my cart will mysteriously grow by a few items.
Some of my current favorite products include: caramelized onion cheddar cheese (YUM!), gluten-​free granola, and their roasted plantain chips. Not to be forgotten, they have a great and CHEAP alcohol section. The selection includes local craft brews and a plethora of export wines with easy-​on-​the-​wallet price tags.
If you are a fan of Central Market or Whole Foods, check this place out if you haven’t already. They don’t have everything that those stores carry, but what they do have is just as good, and A LOT cheaper!

Wait, is there not an option for a six star review? Because these guys need it. Trader Joe’s is the jam wherever they pop up, but this location takes the cake for me. Preston Hollow Trader Joe’s is packed full of parking, super friendly staff, and of course, delicious TJ goodies. My hubs and I are working our debt snowball (shout out, Dave Ramsey!) and live on a pretty strict budget. Trader Joe’s never disappoints. I can always find exactly what I need (plus some) within my budget and more often than not, it’s healthy and nutritious too.
Perhaps my favorite Trader Joe’s feature is their commitment to supporting local farmers. I love that I’m getting the deals that I want and helping support local businesses in the same shopping trip!

My review is a little late but I am oh so excited to have a Trader Joe’s in my neighborhood. I frequently run down the road to grab a quick meal or groceries for the week. For a while I kept forgetting Trader Joe’s was so close. I’m hoping they will make an easy way to walk here from the condos to the North.
Before this location opened I had to drive at least 20 minutes to the closest Trader Joe’s. Not only do I love this location for everything Trader Joe’s is know for but it provides an option for safe, clean grocery store where previously there was anything for several miles.
Everyone here that I have talked to has provided superior customer service plus everyone is friendly. Also I haven had a problem with my favorite items being out of stalk. I love their pre-​made items that are just enough for a small family or single person.
If you haven’t check this location out I highly recommend it.

Well, it’s a Trader Joe’s, but this is my favorite in Dallas proper. It is so big! And the staff is always friendly and I never have to wait to check out. The restroom is cute (the paintings!) and a great wine selection.
They have never hassled me about returns, which is greatly appreciated. I always feel like TJ baked goods a seem to go bad so quickly, and this location is no exception; I had to return moldy tortillas 2 days after purchase, but he didn’t even ask for my receipt, which was great.
Happy customer and always happy to return and try new things.

One of the better TJ’s locations I’ve been to in the DFW! They have a massive selection of goodies and the produce section is awesome. And really you cannot go wrong with their customer service anywhere you go. I stocked up on my coconut oil and some bananas. Check out the samples too… there’s always something new! This one is not close by but when I’m in the area I am absolutely swinging by!

Holy Real Estate! This has got to be the biggest Trader Joe’s I’ve ever been in. It’s extremely convenient as it is right off the highway and it is massive! Maybe I’m just used to city standards as the locations in Boston, Cambridge, and DC are only a fraction of size.
The staff was super attentive and cheerful, per typical TJ’s staff. They have a bigger produce section than any other one I’ve been to.
Everything is bigger in Tejas and this place is definitely a case in point. Just go.

It’s Trader Joe’s. I’m mean yeah its awesome.
No matter if your in store for cheap wine, inexpensive chocolate, or some easy to prepare pasta or precooked pot roast. This place has it. They also have a limited selection of fresh meats and seafoods but they don’t have an active butcher department. I mainly stop in here for some options but find myself going to a different store to supplement what you can’t find here.

I really enjoyed this new Trader Joe’s location. It is conveniently located near Walnut Hill and 75… Right in my neck of the woods.
The employees were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we do bs everything that we were looking for.
I love their beer and wine selection. They have great house wines and other affordable bottles.
Another thing I love about TJ’s is the pizza dough. It comes in three flavors: regular, while wheat, and garlic & herb. For $ 2, it is delicious and affordable way to make a pizza.
I will most definitely be back… Frequently!

I love that Trader Joe’s is infiltrating DFW! This location is convenient and does not disappoint. I have now gone in twice and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Maybe it is just me, but the aisles seem wider, which is great since other locations can get a little crowded. This one has not been too crowded when I have gone, but people may not realize that it is open yet.

I found foods I had never seen before! This location seems smaller than the Plano location but shinier. I can’t explain that.
The parking situation was a little frustrating because there aren’t that many parking spaces. You’ll probably have to wait patiently if you want a good space. The customer service was friendly although not that over-​the-​top friendly I’ve grown accustom to in the Plano store. For example, after checking out, I picked up my one bag. The clerk nudged my cart in my direction and said, «You can take that.» In Plano, there is usually some very eager individual sliding in to scoop the cart out of my way. No biggie.
The grocery items are not arranged in the same way as the other location. This or the fact that there is less space may be the reason I stumbled upon so many things I hadn’t seen before. It could also be that they truly do offer some cool products not offered at my regular Trader Joe’s.
They have a variety of meatless meat products that I’m excited to try. They also seemed to have more variety in their hummus selection. I saw a white bean hummus that sparked my interest and a red beet hummus that raised a brow. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I was very intrigued by a cold brew coffee concentrate I saw on the shelf. Someone I know is going to try that! In addition to these great finds, I found whole wheat pizza dough in a bag and lots of candy! If the words dark chocolate peanut butter salted caramel truffles don’t make you salivate, don’t talk to me.
In the end, I’m still up in the air about whether this TJ’s will become my new go to. It is a little closer but I usually don’t travel south to grocery shop. The lure of products I won’t find anywhere else though, might make it worth my drive.

Yay yay yay! Another one in town! What I absolutely love about this one is the location as it is so easy to get to and from on my daily commute.
Just like any other Trader Joe’s, this grocery store caters to those who are health conscious, stays on top of the latest nutrition trends, but can be thrifty as can be. You’ll find items you can’t find at your normal grocery store such as coconut flour and kale greek yogurt avocado dip but at a much better price than Whole Foods.
And of course, big shout out to the staff. Trader Joe’s seems to always have the friendliest people ready to help you out.
Don’t forget to bring your own bags peoples!

Trader Joe’s is finally open on Walnut Hill Lane and 75 and it is everything I thought it could be! This location is much more accessible than the others because it’s right off the expressway.
I visited on the Grand Opening on February 20^th. This Trader Joe’s is a whole lot like all the other ones. Flowers, produce, frozen goods, fresh meat and seafood, a nice coffee selection, and plenty of random goodies that you didn’t know you needed. Check out the Cowboy Bark near the checkout lanes! I will also say the same thing I’ve said about other TJ’s locations and that is check the expiration dates and quality of your produce before purchasing it. Most of the fresher items like fruits and breads are not meant to be stored and eaten a week later.
I’m in trouble now. I probably won’t be going to many other grocery stores since this is a one stop shop for me. Having a location so close to me has started a whole new obsession with their products! Welcome to the neighborhood Joe!
