I was very excited to try this place and it was such a let down. The building was hot, no air conditioning on in June in Texas. The selection was minimal and the staff careless. These things would have been forgivable if the cake was good but it was awful. The liquid they pour onto the cakes had turned them into wet mush. And they had been sitting so long the frosting was hard. They were terrible. I’d never recommend this place to anyone.

I had a groupon. I was very nervous as to whether or not the place would be open based on other people bitching about its hours of operation on Unilocal and facebook. On a rainy day, I dropped in. The interior was beautiful! Cool chairs and whatnot. A helpful lady made suggestions and loaded up my box of goodies. I had a strawberry daquiri, german chocolate hennessy, peach ciroc, red velvet, all of which were good. The amount of alcohol I could taste was a bit inconsistent, some were stronger than others. About the price? Given the cost of ingredients and presentation, these prices seem fair. Its not like a school bake sale where cheap ass ingredients are used and i layer of cheap ass Duncan Hines icing is haphazardly slathered on top. Anything bad? Oh yeah, the parking lot kinda sucks. Be careful.

I love cupcakes but Tipsy Cupcakes are not my favorite. The liquor saturated the cupcake which made them very soggy. The alcohol burned my tongue!

I was super excited to try this place as I love cupcakes. I went after work around 5pm and there wasn’t a big selection — maybe 4 types of cupcakes? We went with rose velvet and lemon patron. The rose velvet was pretty good — it just tasted like a regular red velvet cupcake. The lemon patron was… Interesting. There was so much liquor when you bit into the middle of the cupcake so it tasted like straight tequila. I’d probably give this place another shot — I just wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Well I finally got around to going over to this place its pretty far from Rowlett but it was worth it at $ 5 a cupcake or $ 4 per strawberry and it’s loaded with liquor you can’t lose. The inside is very nice and cute makes you want to hang out in there. But I can on a Sunday when they were fixing to close so I didn’t get the cupcake that I wanted because everything was gone but I bought 3 cupcakes and a strawberry and they were all awesome I will go back. I did not like the girl at the front she seemed like she didn’t want to be there and she was ready to leave and go home I asked her if she could hook me up since she was fixing the clothes and she didn’t have much left with a little discount if I bought all the cupcakes and she said it wasn’t up to her and didn’t even try to see if anything else so she wasn’t in a selling mood I guess but I guess I’ll go back so I can try what I will wanted to try.

I got a coupon off groupon for Tipsy cupcakes and was excited to try this place out. It was a very cute bakery. The shop was Very girly which I loved the cupcakes looked pretty too. But for how the cupcakes taste… My expectations were very different, it didn’t taste like the cupcakes had alcohol at all tell the very bottom and boom in your face just straight alcohol not very satisfying after the top of the cupcake was already eaten by then your just eating straight alcohol a very unsatisfying taste.

I was excited to try this place because of the recent reviews but my wife and I went yesterday(Friday) when it was suppose to be a great selection. I was hoping to try a mudslide. They didn’t have it. They only had 4 different cupcakes and a few other things. The lady working was not personable at all. We got the patron lemon, rose velvet and strawberry ciroc. We were not big fans. Didn’t taste the liquor till the very middle and boom super strong. not very appetizing. Not my favorite snack.

It took us a minute to get the cupcakes because they kept selling out but today I got my cupcakes and they were delicious! I’ll be back as soon as the doors open.

I had heard so much about this place and finally got a Groupon to check this place out. The location is cozy and if you aren’t looking for it, you could pass it. Once inside there is 1 display case with cupcakes. After reading all of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive, but upon eating one that was out of the window. These came to Girls Night out and were a hit. The flavors I had were: Lemon Patron, Apple Ciroc, Strawberry Daiquiri, and Apple Cinnamon. They were all moist, the liquor was strong in them and the frosting complimented it well

These cupcakes were so delicious and all so uniquely decorated and pretty! And u get a good kick of liquor with every bite, it taste just like a cocktail in a cupcake. I also really enjoyed the ciroc infused gummy bears! They also have coffee which is perfect bc the lounge area is set up in a way where you’d like to lounge eat a cupcake & have a coffee.

I heard about this place from Groupon. I decided to go on a Sunday afternoon. When I got there, the selection was pretty sparse and I was told that they make the entire menu Friday and Saturday(partial menu offerings are made on Wednesday). What I was able to see and taste was awesome. The décor in the place was nice… a couple of large chairs in the front and other places where you can eat. The cupcakes are really cute. All of them seem to be decorated with glitter and other edible decorations(pearls, etc). They also offer chocolate covered strawberries and cake balls, both with tiny tubes of liquor stuck in them. The cupcakes are a bit pricy($ 5), but not much more than any other cupcakery. I am looking forward to coming back to try the red velvet and strawberry cupcakes!

I think these cupcakes are fantastic! I am shocked by the horrible reviews. I was a little skeptical to try this place after seeing the reviews but I already had a groupon. It’s a very cute little boutique style cupcakery. It’s not super busy yet, but they will be once more people get wind of these great cupcakes. Inside, it’s clean with very little clutter and a small refrigerated bin full of cupcakes, brownies and whoopee pies. I got a the bailey’s mudslide, German chocolate Hennessey, fireball cinnamon, red velvet champagne. My favorite by far was the mudslide. It wasn’t too overwhelming with the liquor and was very moist but not crumbly. My second favorite was the fireball cinnamon. The icing on it was delicious and creamy. The german chocolate Hennessey was great cake, but way too powerful tasting for me, but my friend that loves Hennessey really enjoyed it. The red velvet was dry. I was a little disappointed with it because it looked the prettiest. :P I can’t wait to see what more this place has in store for us. The lady working the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. All of my friends were impressed by the cupcakes!

I have no idea what the issue is with this place. The staff are nice, the décor is awesome… Now on to the cupcakes — this place could turn me into an alcoholic. I love it. I have no complaints about the cupcakes. I had the red velvet cupcake — delicious. The alcohol, the cream cheese, and the icing were a perfect mix. And the presentation was beautiful. My friend had the very berry tequila — you can definitely taste the tequila, but when you add the sweetness it’s pure bliss. Needless to say, I have no complaints and will definitely be back — heck, I’m taking 4 home with me!

The inside was nicely decorated. The staff was friendly, but not professional. I asked questions about the menu: top seller and how long they’ve been in business, all my questions were answered by the owner but she was not dressed professionally. The cupcakes were not good. Totally not worth $ 5.00. I will not visit again.

Décor and staff are nice. Cupcakes are almost not edible due to all the glitter and awful tasting icing. Cupcakes are soggy due to them soaked in liquor. Yuck
