Eh. Overpriced drinks, «hipster» kids shuffling and druggies getting product from dealers… Not my scene. It is way tiny in there and hardly any breathing room, let alone dancing room. And the woman’s bathroom door locks you inside it!(well, maybe I just couldn’t work the knob since I was drunk but still…) Will def not be back in there…

Love the place! Ive been going for many many years now. The drinks are great, service great, the crowd fun… but I enjoy any party crowd. Thursday nights(as anywhere in Dallas) seem to be Asian night. Fri-Sun good mix of people just looking to have fun!

Hotel Capri is not an actual hotel, much to my confusion during my first visit. No, it is in fact a slim, skeezy bar on Greenville Avenue with a makeshift double bed propped on a makeshift platform in the makeshift«VIP» area, which is right next to the bathroom door. Are you disgusted yet? Before giving a place a low-star rating, I generally like to give the venue a few tries, but one, two, three strikes you’re out, as is the case with Hotel Capri. The bar is located in prime Greenville Ave. club real-estate, and tries really hard to be a dance club and a bar in its tiny space. Seating along the wall is cramped and the amount of tables they try to place with it make for awkward maneuvering to your seat, especially in heels. This, plus the bar on the other side, leaves for very little dance space and the venue, on busy nights, gets overly crowded pretty quickly. The crowd is your average low-income college student and barista/waiter looking to party. Ladies, as a heads up, the men here are very forward. If you don’t want a denim cock ground against your ass, stay away. It’s almost unavoidable. No dress code is enforced, which is part of the appeal along with the scantily-clad raver go-go girls shaking their booties on the tables. During my third visit an actual fight broke out between two scantily-clad fat chicks, which was funny until they killed the music because someone got hurt. But speaking of music, the jams are one plus side to this place. The DJ, at least on Saturday, plays a great mix of house, top 40 remixes, and Dallas-based artists, and is open to requests. The volume in such a small space however makes it difficult to communicate with the bartenders. Ordering a dry martini got me an apple-tini and a $ 10 charge. Btw, drinking any kind of ‘tini here will have you sticking out like a sore thumb. It’s just not the place for anything associated with class.

This place is a joke… its a haven for underage girls and old dudes trying to get them drunk. Its tacky and the prices suck and the people do too!

Let me first start out by saying 1. I am not a big«club» person and 2. nor am I a fan of any of the clubs in lower greenville. With these two things in mind Hotel Capri was actually tolerable for me but it took taking advantage of their free champagne and the PR dude buying my lady friends and I drinks throughout the night. Hotel Capri is small but cozy with dark modern furniture, nice décor above and a somewhat clean restroom. My friends and I arrived around 10:30 so it was still a bit early but half of the seating area was already reserved for some party so we ended up sitting outside(not cool). I have to give props to the DJ though, he was such a great sport. We kept buying him drinks so he would play girly music like TLC and the SPICE Girls =) don’t ya just love it!

not a bad place to grab a drink and people watching. music selection isn’t bad either. they do however need more bartenders when the club does start getting busy

The Hotel Capri. My friends do not like this place. Immediately walking in, they asked me «Are you ready to leave?» An emphatic«No!» I replied. «This is where the hipsters are!!!» But let’s get serious… this is Unilocal after all… By far my favorite bar(say that 2x fast) on Lower Greenville. I like the music they play. I like the atmosphere. And I like the girls that go there.(My über-beer goggles help that category tremendously) If you like hip-hop or some good mixes of popular songs today, check this place out. The assistant manager even bought me and a friend a shot of crown last time I went. Sweet nuts!

I Love this bar. I’ve always been there on a Saturday; so it is crowded. The music is not too bad just chill;goes hand-in-hand with one of their drinks.

4 of us ladies out on the town Saturday night… watch out! Checked out Hotel Capri and it was a blast! The music is awesome and though it’s a small bar, we found great seating in the back. The décor is much like a hotel bar, very nice! The bartenders are so friendly(and cute!) and pour their drinks just right. I will be going back in the near future!

Hotel or Club? How about club with a alcove bed in the back? The crowd was hopping by 9:15. Best yet, free Champagne for the ladies on Thursday night until midnight. Had the sliders, truffle fries and artichoke dip. All were great. Parking was fine for lower Greenville. Go early enough to camp out in the alcove for some privacy if you want to have an intimate conversation. Superperson kicked back and enjoyed them self too, I think! Who can resist a crowd of beautiful women plied with free Champagne?

A great place to get your drink on. The decoration is sultry and plush on the inside and also the outside. Friendly bartenders, and good music on Wednesdays… they also have free champagne for women on Thursdays… this place used to be Moosh, the owners have done a good job on revamping the place. A must see on Greenville Avenue.
