The Fairways of Bent Tree

I’ll update this as soon as I figure out how the new management is…
But we are undergoing remodels for the office and club house.
(I’m going to stop right there and go ahead and finish this review)
Noooo they’re not finished. Had I of known that I was going to end up paying to live in the middle of a construction project I wouldn’t have signed the lease. 5 more months seems entirely too long. The complex has lost its originality as its now being painting orange just like the complex across the street. (Owned by the same management) In addition, when I get home after a 10 hour shift in the afternoon I wish I could sleep instead of listening to a bunch of loud machinery daily.
So irritated with this property

This is the noisiest complex I’ve ever lived in. The «remodel» is taking far too long. There is a new project weekly. All projects this far have been petty and mind-​numbing.
1) Why do you spend weeks cutting down all the trees around the pool? It’s Texas. We need a little shade.
2) Why do you wait till the day before Christmas to shut off water, and replace water mains for «preventative maintenance?» Some people had family visiting.
3) Why wait till the middle of December to do chimney sweeps? That is something you do in the fall, not the middle of winter.
4) You repainted the fencing to match across the street, but didn’t fix and replace all the missing and broken planks…
5) Don’t send out letters telling residents you are painting, and to remove all items from patio. Then say you are not responsible for paint splatter. Um. You are, actually. If you can’t keep your paint under control, stay away from my stuff.
6) When I have complaints, don’t give me some excuse about the complex being bought by some company 5 states away that has never seen the property. You’re the property manager. Manage it!
7) When the mailman leaves a package in the office, please notify the resident. My last one was there 2 weeks.
8) I pay for a carport. Don’t tell me you’re out of parking tags, and it’s okay to park there for the weekend till you get more, then tow my car that night…
9) When replacing the walkways, replace them ALL, not just bits and pieces. We now have a horrible flooding issue due to walkways not being level any longer.
10) I’d like to be able to walk to my front door without being soaked head to toe by sprinklers every night. Fix the heads. They spray everywhere.
11) Dog poop. It’s everywhere! I step in it weekly. Checking the mail is a disgusting chore.
12) Why did you take the Clorox wipes out of the gym? It’s disgusting. I pay about $ 1100 per month. Wipes cost $ 3. Figure it out.
There’s more, but I’m over this. If you work night shift and sleep during the day, forget it. If you enjoy privacy, forget. If you enjoy living in a constant construction zone, this is your place.

While the living space is great the overall experience at these apartments has been less than ideal. The new ownership is deplorable. The first thing they did was cancel the valet trash service and now the are doing a «million dollar renovation» that where nothing is being done. The security is awful, a small SUV with flashing lights that parks and ignores the masses of homeless that come from behind the complex. They also can’t seem to figure out how much is owed for rent each month because the figure constantly changes. I would not recommend this complex to anyone, even my worst enemy.

Horrible management. The office manager seems nice until you move in. All she cares about is looking good on paper for the people above her. Don’t be deceived. She doesn’t care at all about the residents. The maintenence team is lazy and has no idea what they’re doing. Plan on going weeks without getting things fixed sometimes. If it’s anything somewhat complicated, sometimes they’ll just sign off on their paperwork saying they’ve fixed it. The intire time we lived there we had no hot water in our laundry room. So, no hot water to wash clothes with. They kept signing off without doing anything.

I have lived here for a year now. I’ve never experienced any of the problem that the previous user spoke of. Other than seeing a few raccoons around the trash cans but that’s nothing I’m going to lose sleep over. When I looked for apartments I looked at 17 apartments in 2 days and I chose these. Safety location and space were what I was looking for. Because these apartments were originally condos, they are a lot bigger than your average apartment. I’m very pleased with these apartments and my experience here.

Don’t sign here!!! Had to find somewhere to live quick and it’s been a nightmare since. Pools are never cleaned, there are raccoons and possums on the property. The apartment I lived in reeked of smoke and I never got use to it. They get kickbacks from towing companies and tow like crazy! Had plenty of neighbors get towed even though they gave the complex their liscence plate information. There’s not even a parking problem. So happy I’m out! Oh yeah. Roaches are everywhere even though I keep the place clean. Very disappointed with this place. The ONLY thing going for it is the awesome location by Addison.
