Dr. Chilcoat received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio in 1981. He then went on to complete a one year residency in hospital dentistry at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Dr. Chilcoat returned to Texas for a one year residency in anesthesia and a four year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, both at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He enjoys all aspects of the specialty with particular focus on implantology and maxillofacial surgery. He enjoys traveling, reading, scuba diving and staying physically fit. Dr. Chilcoat has practiced his specialty in Dallas for over 20 years. Known for his careful and meticulous chairside manner, Dr. Chilcoat’s patient appreciate his personal attention to every detail when it comes to their oral surgery care.
