I have nothing but praises for Dr Margolis. He is one of the best anesthesiologist I have ever met. He is so caring and professional. I highly recommend him as an anesthesiologist. He took care of a friend of mine and I was so pleased how he was with her and her family. Not only he took the time with her in pre op but also made sure she was ok all the way through stepdown. He checked on her several times to make sure she was fine, for me, that’s God send.

Best place to have surgery. Staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Place is very nice and clean. I had a tonsillectomy there by Dr. Bates and Dr. Margolis was my Anesthesiologist. Both physicians did an excellent job from beginning to end. They made me feel comfortable and at ease before going into the OR. The OR nurse, Theresa, was great too! I woke up in the PACU with no problems. Registration was a breeze. The wait to be called back to PREOP was not long, and the PREOP/​PACU staff (especially Shanel and Rachel) were great. They also use lidocaine to numb the area before starting the IV so that’s a plus. My whole experience there was great and everything went very smooth. Would definitely go there again for surgery if needed.

I would give Texas institute for surgery 10 stars if I could. I had sinus surgery there may 2015 done by Dr. Albritton and hip surgery July 27, 2015 done by Dr. Steven Thornton. The doctors and nurses are very caring, happy, professional, organized, and knowledgable people. They treated me with respect and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The two anesthesiologists that I had listened to me and my concerns about getting super nauseated after surgery. They gave me several different things before, during, and after surgery to prevent nausea. I never got nauseated. It was such a relief. I am so grateful for these positive experiences with a hospital. Recovery has been easy and fast. I would recommend these doctors and hospital to anyone.

I’ve never had surgery besides wisdom teeth removal. Even then, that was local anesthesia. The thought of general anesthesia just freaked me out like a shivering raccoon trapped in a dumpster.
Was I going to wake up in the middle of the terror? Was I going to experience side effects? Was I going to die?! Dude, I could die!
Despite my fears and abhorrence for surgery facilities, my experience here was actually quite comfortable. I was expecting to wear one of those fashionable blue gowns I see on TV, but instead I dawned a purple Bair Paws gown. Besides looking awfully sexy, I was hooked up to a machine that blew warm air into it. It felt like being a child again and running to your parents’ bedroom to sleep with them. It felt so good!
I have also never met an entire medical staff that in general was very nice. Genuinely nice. The four nurses (or whoever they were) that entered my room made me feel like I was their priority. The doctor and his staff had the best bedside manner, especially for it being 6:45AM! Everyone looked awake and it was reassuring to see them on their A game.
From the moment I checked in to the moment I was wheeled out, I was treated with the utmost care. Hopefully I’ll never have to go through surgery ever again, but I’m glad it at least happened here.

Absolutely LOVED my entire experience at this surgery center. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and clean environment, and a hassle-​free day of surgery. I have had multiple surgeries, and the one I had at Texas Institute for Surgery was simply the most peaceful of them all. If you need to have surgery, do your best to have it here — you won’t regret it!

After having a dreadful experience at Precision Surgery Center in Dallas, it makes me realize just how truly outstanding and remarkable the Texas Institute for Surgery is! It’s about time someone set the bar high for others to follow. Everyone (and I LITERALLY mean EVERYONE) was so welcoming, kind, courteous and friendly! Unbelievable staff!!! The waiting/​registration lobby was beautiful and clean with a lot of privacy as well. The private rooms were large and comfortable. No one tried rushing us out after our son’s surgery. They let us take as much time as we needed and then some. We could not have asked for a better experience! And to top it all off, no gimmicky games afterwards where they continue to bill you for extra «stuff» after your procedure. Straight up, honest, dependable, caring… I could go on and on.
If you have the time, do yourself a HUGE favor and spend the time to go see ANY surgical centers out there before deciding where to have your procedure done. It makes a HUGE difference. If your doctor doesn’t perform surgery at the surgical center you pick out as the right center for you, but rather at some sub-​standard center, then I would question why and maybe even look in to finding a different doctor who cares enough about their patients that they would actually be concerned with associating their reputation to any surgical center that does not perform to standards of excellence.

If y have to have a day surgery, this is the place you want it. This is like the Ritz Carlton of surgery centers. Very professional and caring staff while utilizing hi-​tech to keep you informed throughout the surgery. Free wifi in the waiting room is a big plus.

Great atmosphere, great nurses, great bedside manner & extremely clean! What more can I (or you) ask for?
