History

Established in 1970.

Three generations of the Klausner /​Schweig family have been in the patio furniture business in the Dallas /​Fort Worth Metroplex. David and Debbie’s goal was to create a company that offered the best value in the Dallas/​Fort Worth Metroplex on quality outdoor furnishings and accessories. Their primary focus for the company has been to offer stylish merchandise at discounted prices along with exceptional and superior customer service.

In 2002, in conjunction with an expansion and renovation of the shopping center, Sunnyland began a major transformation and expansion of its showroom, including a 10,000 sq. ft. design showroom addition, new courtyard, and expanded clearance center. Sunnyland celebrated its grand re-​opening in 2003 and has been the leading, innovative single showroom store in the USA ever since. In the last 15 years, Sunnyland has ben nominated for the prestigious Apollo 9 time and has won the Best Outdoor Furniture store on 3 different occasions.

Tremendous customer service. We bought a couch and had problems with the frame. Toni repeatedly went back to the manufacturer to finally get it fixed. She never wavered in her helpful attitude towards us and her dogged pursuit to get our problem fixed. She finally did after three tries. Most people would have shrugged it off after one or two attempts but she never did.
Great people to deal with and rely on.

We had a fantastic experience at Sunnyland. They had a huge selection and we found just what we wanted. Josh Brumley was our salesman– he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We were at the store less than 30 minutes, and our furniture was delivered 2 hours later. WOW! We will definitely be back.

Ordered a few custom items for an outdoor pool area that I am very happy with. A little hiccup with the wrong color first time around but the managers and delivery guys fixed and turned around everything quickly. They also did an umbrella repair for minimal cost a few months later when a gust of wind smashed it up.
They have lots of stuff on the floor, but a ton of catalogs to look through as well.
Delivery guys are great too.

Going into this showroom is like walking into a dream world. I want this, and I want that. Heck, I want everything! Service is very good and not pushy. In fact, browsing is encouraged. That’s easy to do. Thank God they are in the Dallas area so that we can visit them as often as we want.

We’ve been very pleased with our patio furniture (sofa, table and chairs, gliders and a double chaise); purchased in March 2015. After visiting a few places, I found Sunnyland via a Google search. Their showroom sets them apart from the rest, as does their customer service. Teresa was our salesperson and she was very patient, helpful and responsive. We did have a couple quality issues, but both Teresa and Toni were extremely responsive and motivated to resolve them for us (and quickly). Unfortunately, I think it’s just the state of manufacturing quality these days. We definitely recommend them and will go back for future purchases.

I recently visited Sunnyland Outdoor Furniture after looking at all the cheap big box inventories. It is true, you get what you pay for and I did note that the furniture was expensive, but high quality. Marilyn helped my wife and I find some very nice furniture that was marked way down. I also liked the round rug the patio table was displayed on but it was the only one they had and it was way to expensive for a used rug. She agreed and marked the rug down about 50% and I thanked her for her generous discount. All the people were very friendly and when we concluded our business they loaded my truck up.
If you are looking for high quality products this is the place. I will be back for future purchase!

I have purchased high quality outdoor furniture from this location twice now. The staff does not seem pushy or overbearing like some of the national box type furniture stores. They were willing to help me move several pieces from different parts of the store together, to make sure I was going to get the right configuration for my small space. Prices were discounted appropriately for the season. The bronze aluminum cushion chair rocker and ottoman that I’ve had sitting outside in the Texas sun for the past three years has not weathered much at all. They have a huge selection, and specialize in the type of furniture that will last for a decade. Shipping for an entire patio of furniture only mounted to $ 100, even though we live an hour away. Always stop here first if you are looking for very good outdoor furniture… You will not be disappointed. Ask for Thad.

I recently purchased several pieces of patio furniture from Sunnyland and could not be more pleased with their service. I received all pieces on time and complete.
A few weeks after receiving the furniture I had a small issue with some of the cushions. Tony immediately took care of the problem and I couldn’t be happier.

We purchased a number of pieces from Sunnyland recently and were very pleased with the selection and service. Josh did a great job helping us out and most pieces were in stock. I haven’t taken delivery of the furniture yet so I can’t speak to how it wears. We bought a set by Malin which is supposed to be a good manufacturer. I will keep you posted on how we like it:)

Giving 4 starts simply because I can’t guarantee durability until I’ve had the set a few years. Plus, if you’re like me, you trust these more over the 5 star reviews.
Went in this weekend not expecting to buy. I’d heard they had a huge selection, so if anything the trip would help educate me on all the possibilities. This is our first house w/​pool and without the largest patio around the pool I didn’t want to order the wrong set. I’d seen what Crate and Barrel had to offer, but at the cost was intimidated by a few ratings about the questionable durability of 1 – 2 of their sets in this Texas summer sun. I was planning on ordering a wicker set from Costco, as you get a good bit of stuff for under $ 2000. But ordering without seeing and trying out isn’t much my style, and just how much you give up on quality was anybody’s guess. Still, that was the plan.
However, we got lucky. John was old-​school service. He has more than enough knowledge of not only his product, but pretty much all that’s out there. He told me in detail of the difference in quality and of their superior warranties. I found a wicker set that had an especially appealing price. This made it comparable to Costco’s, but in my understanding, is far better made. They even delivered same day. Umbrella color selection is huge. All in all an easy process and someone’s there to answer any questions. Things you give up with the big box stores.
I wouldn’t expect others to happen upon an attractive well made patio set at a very affordable price here on any given day. But worth your time to at least see the large selection and get better informed. Faster and more informative than searching on Google. Now I have a confidence in a set that holds up to the elements. We’ll see. But I do plan on adding a piece or two later on. Oh, and their $ 99 delivery fee is good for any future purchases for a year. Smart.

Hands down the best/​biggest selection of outdoor furniture in DFW. Very knowledgeable staff. We have been extremely happy with both our purchases here. We bought our first outdoor table and chairs set 6 years ago and it has held up beautifully. Still looks perfect. Friendly people – from the salespeople on the floor to the great guys who helped load our purchase.

Don’t even bother with this place. They will tell you what you want to hear during the sale and then just make excuses AFTER you pay the bill!!, We were told SO many things at the time of ordering and nothing was delivered.
GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!
The resling prices are $ 10 per chair cheaper but believe me… It’s not worth it.
The salesman was terrible. He was more interested in playing facebook slouched down in his chair then assisting us.
We will NEVER return to this place.
And we will tell everyone we see how terrible this place is.
Now we know why they were pushing so hard for good reviews on Unilocal — even offering discounts if you gave them a good review.

Eek! The prices!
I didn’t buy anything from here, so I’m not rating up or down… just wanted to post my feedback.
I went here on a recommendation from someone who was doing some outdoor work for me at home. He mentioned Sunnyland has been around for 80+ years, so I decided to at least pay a visit.
I came in looking for outdoor fans that have water misters. No luck, none sold there. I was also looking for some retractable shades that I can use for my large porch. Also didn’t find that.
What I did find is lots of furniture, while nice looking. and some VERY nice, that had some serious price tags! Sweet monkey I just about walked out at every turn! I’m not sure if I saw a single chair that was under $ 200. $ 300-​$ 500+ for a chair? $ 2k+ for a table? Some single items reach upwards of $ 10K!
OK, I was obviously out of my element and in the wrong store. I’m just a poor boy from a poor family and I don’t belong here. Very pretty things, but way out of my price range. Yeesh.

We spent $ 7,393.58 on 2 loveseats, 2 chairs, 1 side table, pillows, and 2 ottomans.
We placed our order with Sunnyland on March 16th 2013 (order #2 343 530)
Sunnyland delivered most of the order correctly on May 8th but we learned that an error within the store caused the wrong ottoman to be ordered and only 1 instead of 2 ottomans were ordered.
Sunnyland then requested $ 510.51 to correct their error and we refused. We offered to return the Ottoman that Sunnyland delivered and have Sunnyland deliver the 2 ottomans that we originally ordered or we would accept the ottoman delivered if Sunnyland matched that ottoman at their expense. It was agreed that Sunnyland would match the ottoman delivered at their expense and they would put a RUSH on the ottoman.
After I called Sunnyland last week to check the status of the missing ottoman Sunnyland scheduled the delivery for this past Saturday. They did not deliver as promised. NO SHOW NO CALL and still NO OTTOMAN!
Today is July 1st 105 days (over 15 weeks) after we originally placed our order and we still don’t have the ottoman!

I like this store a lot, the selection is excellent. The clearance section is where we do most of our shopping and where prices are considerably cheaper. We have been here many times and are never disappointed. Plus, across the street there are some great restaurants so you can shop and then eat.

Holy crap! I’ve never seen so much patio furniture in one store in my whole life! The store is the size of a grocery store only instead of cereal and meat they have outdoor furniture! They have almost anything you could be looking for– hammocks, wicker, wrought iron, plastic, round tables, square tables, oblong tables, lounge chairs… you name it, all set up in little cute ways to show you how happy you and yours could be drinking out of plastic wine glasses.
We wandered around and happened to find the «discount» room where I actually found what I was looking for– something metal but a little more modern with seating for six. We got 30% off the price (because that color had been discontinued or some reason) and they deliver right to your house for only $ 55. Discount patio furniture that I don’t have to haul down 635 in a pickup?! I’m sold!
There were lots of great umbreallas (we even saw one that was thatched! Gah! Just like Gilligan! I’m so tempted!) and cushions but I’d made enough decisions for one day and was in full on analysis paralysis, so that will wait for another day. Party in our backyard, yo! Who’s coming?!? :)
