Sonic Drive-In

Service was nice. Food and Shake was great. It took a little while to get the food, but luckily I was in no hurry.

I have seen hundreds of commercials for Sonic Drive-​In on cable while living in Los Angeles, yet I had never actually seen one until I went to Texas. This particular Sonic is not a drive-​in, and is located within a mall food court at the Northpark Center. I had to give this place a shot because the food always looked so good in the commercials.
So I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster combo, which is basically a bacon burger on toasted bread with BBQ sauce… and it was sinfully good! When you get a combo Sonic gives you the option of fries or tater tots, and of course I had to get the tots since that was a unique item to be a part of a lunch combo… and they were good too! Everything was so good that I went back for desert later. I got a Blue Coconut Slush, which completed the meal for me. After how much I enjoyed that meal, I have to say that Sonic may quite possibly be my new favorite fast food restaurant. However, I do need to find a drive-​in version in Los Angeles to get the full Sonic experience. If you have not tried Sonic before, and are craving some fast food, it is tasty.
