The food is delicious and fresh. …will go back again… the meat was seasoned perfectly.

Found this restaurant on Unilocal.Got there and the place on the outside doesn’t look like much but please don’t hesitate to go inside and get the food. It’s clean the guys in there are helpful the food I really can’t describe but i was extremely happy. The food is fresh my girlfriend knows fresh food.

This place is awesome. Everything we’ve ever gotten here is top notch (and we’ve gotten almost everything). There is one soup that comes with a blood product (not the phở) so if you have concerns there, be sure to ask and have them not include it … They are super accommodating. We’ve always gotten everything to go and find that it’s best to call 20 mins before you are going to be there. By the time you arrive everything will be packed up, hot and ready to roll. The spicy scale is helpful but keep in mind that they are not scared to make things spicy! So don’t try to be brave unless you’re really down for some crazy hot stuff! This place continues to be one of our favorite stops… Best pad thai ever!

This is literally hands down the best phở place in Dallas… nothing beats this!
This small restaurant type deal is within an asian grocery store and all you have to do is order from the front of the store and once you do that there are table that you can sit at and enjoy your meal (lovely set up) plus you can also order carry out… if your going to order phở to-​go, make sure to call 15 – 20 minutes before.
The phở is amazing. I literally want to die and go to heaven when I have it… the broth is rich in flavor and does not lack a single thing. The meatballs in the beef phở tastes and looks like actually meat (unlike others who have spongy meatballs)! Also the meat is cut and proportioned just right! Every thing about it is just amazing.
The fried rice is to die for! Forget any other take out place… this is where you need to be buying your fried rice!
This is seriously my favorite phở place… I have tried many phở places and this one reigns on high! Although one bowl of phở prices at like $ 8 and maybe $ 7 for a fair amount of fried rice. But nonetheless I love it here and recommend to all!!!

Let me just start by saying their peanut sauce is to DIE for! I normally don’t eat peanut sauce with my spring rolls but the one made here is the exception! It’s not runny and fishy like the other ones I’ve tried. I seriously just come here for the sauce and the spring rolls, ok maybe not just for that. The beef phở is good! I always order take out and always ask for hoisin sauce on the side. The price is very reasonable no more than $ 10 for a plate. You can get an order of shrimp/​chicken spring rolls and phở for a round $ 12. The portions are generous as well.

In town for business. Found this place on Unilocal.When i enter, this place looks ‘interesting’ there’s a jewelry saling place on the right side of the place, little grocery store. And the tiny cafeteria (4 table) at the back. But the food is delicious and the price is cheap. Definitely going to recommend to friends when in Dallas.

Interesting place. A small restaurant with a micro menu and Asian market with a little bit of everything. The fact that it exists in Oak Cliff was a revelation to me. You order at the front. There are photos of (maybe) 10 items. Currently no curry; but they have phở, fried egg rolls (good), summer rolls (good), pad kee mow (delicious; but doesn’t need cashews on top); larb (good; but a little dry — huge portion — no cucumbers or tomatoes which I would like; but did have a large wedge of iceberg lettuce) papaya salad, pad thai, fried rice and pad see ew, that I remember. They have a comfortable four table dining area in back and a TV for the interested. We had a choice of steamed or sticky rice with the larb. Steamed was the best choice today. The sticky rice was too dry for the fairly dry but very favorful chicken larb. Prices were modest. As noted by others, they do serve your entrees in a to go box. Our rolls were on plates, though, and there are all kinds of plates and tiny bowls on a shelf if you want to use them.
The market was a very pleasant surprise for fresh produce, Asian sausages and meatballs, herbs, frozen fish and nice aisles of condiments, cooking ingredients and, well, a little bit of everything. They had beautiful fresh handmade rice noodles at the checkout.
Very friendly people. I got the impression they are willing to tweak your order to suit you. My husband and I didn’t find the Thai heat level to be any hotter here than other honest 1 – 5 heat levels. The experience was a good one and we’ll be back.

I should’ve said 2. It was a wonderful spicy, though. Flavorful and large in portion. Their spring rolls are also delicious and large. Easily share 3 with two people, or three.
Staff was very friendly, the service was quick, the chicken wasn’t full of tendons, the price was more than fair for the amount of food I got. Very highly recommend.

Tiny restaurant tucked behind aisles of the grocery store, this is a hidden gem. It’s like someone’s mother is cooking individual orders of food for her family. The pad Thai is wonderful, as is the pad see yew. Try the bubble tea in about 20 different flavors. The mango tea with the tapioca pearls was like a dessert.

I went on a Monday… closed. don’t do that again. Notice I’m in an appropriate ethnic area where you always find the good grub. That small place, home made, full of spices… I love that stuff!
Went back and had to do this! Go in and notice the signs «Only accept cash or debit card» which makes me think this must be a new development. Hmmm, ok… so I order and pay with cash… head to the back. She brings the spring rolls (I ordered chicken) and they were really tasty… but she explains that she can only bring food on take out containers. Something about they can’t «serve» with plates anymore… ooookkk…
I really like the additional tray you are supposed to get with these foods. The one with the hot pepper oil and fish oil… yum!
Then comes the chicken Laab. I really enjoyed it and it turned out the take out box was handy since I didn’t finish it… I also ordered a Pad Thai to go and ate that later (yes, piggy piggy)… but all 3 for under $ 20!
Everything has a good spice and flavor and sitting there scanning the isle was a bit fun. It is a haphazard little store of random items and Asian stuff. I’m a bit worried about the cash/​debit only change as well as this take out container only… I hope it’s not because they aren’t doing well. I’d hate to think i won’t have opportunities to go back!
when i leave and notice the whole «jewelry repair» sign I just chuckle to myself and scan the window to see if it also says «bait shop» haha

I’m so glad this place is close by and I’m so glad I finally tried it. I’ve only tried the fresh spring rolls so far, but they were equal to the best I’ve ever had, and may be the best. They had all the great fresh veggies and herbs, 2 shrimps each, 3 to an order. Yum. I can’t wait to try everything else.
Also, this is a great place to get Asian groceries. I’m so happy to find a place nearby so I don’t have to make a special trip so far north.

I come here all the time with my coworkers. At first I was a bit nervous; what good food could be had in the back of an Asian market?
But booooooyyyyyy, let me tell you — this place is fantastic, spicy, authentic and simply amazing. The family that runs the restaurant is really kind and hilarious. They’re always happy to see you and very accommodating.
Though there are only a couple of chairs in the back of the grocery store, it still has such a cozy and laid back feel. I certainly don’t feel like I’m even in Dallas anymore when I’m back there.
Beware of the spice though. I normally get a Level 2 and its such a delicious burn that I suffer through it. The shrimp fried rice is Heaven!

Love going to this hidden gem for Lao food! I’ve had one less-​than-​stellar experience from there, but it’s pretty good overall!

My favorite Thai spot in Dallas is tucked in the back of an Asian grocery, four small tables behind the isles of spices and noodles, modest to say the lest. but the food is anything but modest, fresh, fiery, and family made. Like grandmas house in Bangkok :).

This market and the little restaurant in the back are LEGIT! Owners here are very friendly and helpful (didn’t have any Kaffir lime leaves in the cooler — went and got some from the kitchen for my buddy). They were out of fresh chilis and again went into the back and got some for me.
Sweet older Vietnamese Mom in the back cooking. Good food. Small menu done right.

Super friendly super quick and it wasn’t expensive. Had an appetizer 2 entrées and 2 bubble teas for under $ 30. The food was delicious and we will be back for more!

Amazing Laotian style Thai food. The best! Favorite dishes are thai style phở, pad ke mow, and pad see ew noodle dishes. They treat you like family here.

Affordable thai food. Food is pretty spicy even I asked for level 1. I guess next time I should ask for no spicy.
I still prefer Nalinh Market in Irving for thai food since they have fresher food and all you can eat rice: P But this restaurant is not bad if you want some thai food in this area.

It’s tucked away in a retail strip at the southwest corner of Illinois and Cockrell Hill. In front you’ll think it’s just a market. I wondered if the food was pre-​prepared and I would just be given an order to go. But no… you place your order at the front then you can sit in the back (ahhhh, there’s the kitchen!) and your freshly prepared meal is served to you at one of a few tables.
I shared the Seafood & Tofu Pad Kee Mao, amazingly delicious; watch out for the jalapeños cut so thick I thought it was a green pepper, that was a hot oops! The portion was huge, made 4 ‘normal’ meals.
The bubble drinks were absolutely marvelous! The tamarind and mango we tried were authentically fruit flavored and wonderfully frosty cold; like a South Asian slurpee. I’ll be craving these when the summer heat hits us!
