Definitely take Professor Semple! It’s a tough class, but a life changer, along with a Professor that can relate to the students.

Great school with great connections! You have a lot of resources while attending this school. Most of the teachers are really great and you learn a lot in their classes. They are always trying to help you when you need it.

I am a Cox MBA alum and I would highly recommend their PMBA program to accelerate your skill set. One of my elective courses during my program was «Starting a Business». The course was amazing, hard work, long hours, but I walked away knowing how to write a business plan suitable to pitch to VCs.
I am back to take the course a second time to offer myself the rigorous structure I require to flesh out another business concept.
If you are a budding or experienced entrepreneur looking to sharpen the tools in your tool box, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. It’s not a «regular» certification program. You will walk away with more than knowledge, you will be connected with a network of entrepreneurs and investors.
