Rusty Wallis Collision Center

Had a great experience at the collision center for my Volkswagen. Ask for David– he is fantastic! He went above and beyond for Mr in regard to service and efficiency!

I took my Honda to this location twice for repairs. Each time the service and quality of work was great. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars was price — it seemed a little high for paint and body work.

I parked my car at work. Had a hit and run. Drove to their body shop soon after. Got an estimate 10 min upon my arrival and had it fixed and ready to go all in a week. Affordable price as well. Incredibly friendly staff. They knew I was quite upset about the incident so they made sure I was smiling and laughing, as well as assuring me that I will be taken care of. They have a very keen eye for any nicks on your car. I’ve noticed that they’ve actually fixed a few dints on my car that was not caused by the incident. Very generous of them. I would definitely come back for their service.

I went to three different body shops before a friend recommended Rusty Wallis to me. I explained to them the frustration I had over a minor ding on my bumper that no one else could apparently fix. They repaired the problem within ONE day, so I was able to drop my car off, run a few errands, and pick it back up on the same day! A friendly staff, affordable prices, and great service– I’d definitely go back.

I actually had a great experience with the body shop. They did a great job repairing my car and honestly it looked better than before the accident. The fixed little minor dings without me asking. The customer service was great and I will be using this shop again in the future.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I don’t know if I have ever experienced more SLEAZY, SHADY people than this collision center. They estimated more than I paid for the car for hitting a median. (There wasn’t any body damage even.) And they had already begun work (an alignment) WITHOUT authorization. They did not communicate well and once the man found out that we would not be fixing our car with them, he got super defensive and brought up storage fees (our insurance said he should not of spoke about this at all since it is covered). when he discovered we were keeping it and fixing it elsewhere at the recommendation of another mechanic, he kept saying that we needed to be «careful» until we finally shut him up by revealing that said mechanic was a family member. The mechanic recommended we take it to the a dealership affiliated place because my airbags had deployed but upon looking at their shady estimate, he advised we take it to someone he knew. I just found out the price to fix my vehicle will be a little over 1,000 versus 3,700 estimated by this place (they did not even include the airbags in that price). They kept saying they could not find what the Rusty Wallis center was claiming needed to be fixed. These are HORRIBLE PEOPLE. DO NOT GET CHEATED BY THEM.

I chose rusty wallis collision because it was a dealer affiliated repair shop and I figured the work would be done right with no hassle. As it turns out they were more shady and unreliable than any other body shop.
Repairs that insurance paid them to fix were left undone. Instead of replacing parts they just buffed and painted them to save a buck. The alignment they did left the car pulling hard to one side and when I brought it back they said they couldn’t redo it because there was suspension damage! Took it to NTB and they fixed me up in an hour.
They wouldn’t even look at my car a second time without having an insurance adjuster give them additional money for supplements on work that should have been done right the first time. Awful experience.

Poor communication. Sloppy quality of work. Indifferent service from the estimator. Approachable manager (the ONLY plus!).
I chose Rusty Wallis Collision Center because of the fantastic service I have received from Rusty Wallis VW in Garland. Well, these two members of the Rusty Wallis family operate very differently — and I don’t mean that in a good way!
There HAVE to be better body shops in the Dallas area… I recommend you seek them out and avoid the frustration and disappointment I experienced with this place.

Thank you Rusty Wallis Collision Center! I took my car here after a «fender bender» (I have a less appropriate word to describe it!) Anyway, I dropped it off on a Tuesday, and they called Enterprise to pick me up. :) I got it back the following Monday! When I got there, I noticed a small hair line strip where it looked like there was no paint. They pulled out a can of paint and fixed it right there! In 108 degree weather. They sure know customer service :) Thanks guys!
