Zero stars is more appropriate. Decided to try them despite seeing all of the bad reviews on here. Ordered a pizza and cheese sticks for pickup. My wife picked it up and they didn’t give her our entire order which I didn’t discover until she got home. Given that we now had our kids sitting down to eat, we called back to ask them to deliver the rest of our order that they failed to give us(and for which we have paid for). They initially told my wife that they would bring the rest of our order to us. Then 20 minutes later they called to say that if we wanted them to deliver our take out order we would have to pay them a fee or come pick it up ourselves. I explained the situation that they didn’t give us the entire order the first time and they just repeated that if we want to change our order from pick up to delivery we would have to pay for it. The person was very rude and we just told them to forget it. The part of the order we did get was a pizza and it was edible but nothing special.

Okay here goes. I wish I could give zero stars because that is what our last and final trip to Rockyanos is worthy of. My husband’s family has lived in Lake Highlands almost his entire life, and they have been customers of Rockyanos for quite some time. I ordered food for the entire family last week and unfortunately have never had a more disgusting experience in my life. My husband and I each got their sub sandwich. We started eating, and I noticed there was a black hair sticking out of my sandwich. It’s happened to all of us at some point, and funny enough my husband told me to just keep eating. Well I’m glad I decided to check the rest of the sandwich anyway, because I found probably about 6 or so long black hairs squished in between the meats. Totally looked intentional. I immediately started throwing up. I mean, it couldn’t have looked more intentional due to the fact that they were neatly hidden in the meats, and the ends of the meat were folded around it. Whether it was or not I’m sure will remain a mystery. I’ve ordered from them only once before, never had any issue, have never been«that» customer that would warrant them wanting to take«revenge» on me or anything. I am such a big supporter of small businesses too, so it sucks that I even have to write this, but I also have to warn consumers as well. Do not eat here. I wouldn’t trust their quality control one bit.

The chicken Parmesan sandwich is NOT the typical chicken Parmesan. It’s a slice of carved chicken smothered in mozzarella and sauce — -very disappointing since I had asked them to describe it prior to ordering

Step above Dominos, but not amazing. Good prices. They have a salamander type conveyor belt pizza oven, not a real pizza oven. I would happily eat there over most fast food pizza delivery.

I’ve lived in lake highlands for 11 years and Rockyano’s used to be a pretty reliable neighborhood delivery joint. The quality has gone down over the years but I thought I would give them one last shot recently and was utterly disappointed. The pizza was soggy and undercooked with the toppings stuck to the top of the pizza box as if the driver slammed on his brakes without bracing the pizza. Ordered an eggplant parm sandwich also and it had NO marinara! Just cheap cheese melted on hockey puck eggplant stuffed in stale bread. Very disappointing. Never, ever again. It was like an episode of kitchen nightmares, I’m so shocked and disappointed.

The worst. Under cooked raw pizza. Use to be good a couple years ago. No marinara on the eggplant parm. The owner tried to hustle me saying that I was a first time customer and didn’t know to order it extra crispy. He was lying and hustling. The pizza dough was raw. I use to order from here all the time a couple years ago. Look at most recent reviews. This place is trash. Gone down hill. And the owner and his son don’t give any care about ripping the hardworking people in this neighborhood off. Shut them down. Oh yeah, they gave me a receipt for my refund but didn’t refund my tip.

Ordered a Cesar salad. They used iceberg lettuce with carrots instead of the typical romaine lettuce. The only thing Cesar about it was the dressing. I also ordered the spaghetti with meatball. The noodles were way over done to the point that they were just a pile of mush and the sauce had a weird flavor I can’t describe. The French bread that came with it tasted like it had been in a refrigerator for days. My husband had the pizza and it was soggy. There are better options for Italian food in the area that are even cheaper.

I love this place, but, I was looking at the photos. There is a photo by gentleman by the name of Andy W., he posted a wrong picture. the picture that he posted is from another restaurant right up the street from this restaurant. I just would like to let everyone know this is a in and out restaurant. They a only have a table and two chairs to sit on while you wait to carry out your pizza, the delivery service is pretty accurate when it comes for home delivery.
But, over all, this place is a good place for pizza the owners are really nice, I believe that it is family operated, but again, the pizza is really great!!!

The girl Jessica is very rude over the phone(Plano rd location) & hung up on me when I cancelled my order(before the food was made) & got even more rude when I called back after being hung up on to make sure my credit card wasn’t being charged. Used to really love this place, but never again will I order from here.

Had the chicken Alfredo fettuccini. Wasn’t as good as I expected it to be and the pineapple smoothie tasted weird… Delivery wasn’t prompt and they have nice service. Maybe I’ll try something else next time…

Pleasurable experience. Prompt delivery. Nothing exceptional but it’s definitely not bad. I can understand why people don’t care for the crust. It could definitely be fluffier and tends to be more of a thin the crust than anything else. I also ordered buffalo wings as well which were lightly sauced and not breaded. I thoroughly enjoyed them. You could tell they were par boiled but at least they were not tough. I think they went very well with the ranch but if eaten by themselves they tended to lack seasoning. Overall this was a pretty good experience. It’s definitely worth ordering if you have a good coupon which they do.

Tradition, you have to love it. My hubster and I have a tradition of eating pizza our first night in any place we move and moving to Lake Highlands meant trying Rockyano’s. We’ve ordered there several times… it’s not a favorite but it’s pretty good, plus we always have coupons from them :) The cheese is delicious, the dough is soft and chewy, not very crispy. Wings are okay. We’ve even bought pizza dough(for $ 2) from there when our homemade pizza dough didn’t rise. Will we go back? Yep, definitely. If you live in the area, it’s a must try.

I’m brand new to Dallas so as a ritual with any new city I move to or visit, I have to try random pizza places. I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza, wings and cheesebread. It was delivered within 35 mins. The pizza wasn’t that bad. The sausage really stood out to me and the dough was soft and kinda chewy. The wings… didn’t care for em too much. The cheesbread tasted like beer was sprinkled on it. lol I don’t know man. But all in all, the pizza was decent.

I tried this place one time for lunch. I think they were having a special or something, so I said what the heck. I did takeout, seemed like I waited a good 20 – 25 minutes and I was the only person in the place. I got a small cheese. My overwhelming impression was that the dough was too chewy, I like thinner and crisper, and that there was WAY too much cheese. Even if the crust had been thin it would have become soggy from so much cheese. My last impression, and the most important, is that the whole experience lacked taste, and if it does not have any taste what is the point? It was like eating balls of doughy cheese. I never went back.

I should have just had the $ 1 Totino’s in the freezer. It wasn’t bad pizza, but it wasn’t great. Dough isn’t bad, and the sauce isn’t great. Plus, my small cheese pizza and small salad was $ 8.87 — when the sign on the window said the special was a small pizza and small salad for $ 6.50. I was told the difference was because I asked for my dressing on the side and a side of garlic butter. WTF?! For what I paid, the size, and the taste, I should have just had the frozen one at home. Very disappointing since I had heard such great things.
