Rio Ritz Boutique

This used to be one of my favorite stores. I have purchased things from them in the past and online. However, I recently purchased a dress from them online. It was delivered when I was out of town. I noticed this week when I went to wear it, it has two small holes in a brand new dress. When I contacted about exchanging it (since I saw on the receipt it could only be done 14 days) I was told sorry. So now I am left with a faulty dress and out $ 45. Total disappointment.

My favorite Dallas boutique right now! They don’t always have everything in store that they have online (heartbreaking), but they always have more than enough in store to make up for that.

It pains me but, as a long time customer, I can no longer support this establishment. I went in to return a few dresses and have them look at a necklace that I thought was tangled when I pulled it out of the bag but I didn’t want to mess it up. After sniffing, yes sniffing, the dresses I was returning, they said they’d look at the necklace while I looked around. After deciding not to exchange and just return, they told me that the necklace was broken. It is their policy to not refund accessories, which I totally understand on any other circumstance other than this one. She showed me how it was broken and missing a link. It was like that, unknowingly to me, when I purchased it, which I explained. It even still had the tag on it. They offered me a partial refund, which sounds ridiculous to me. Why in the world would I pay anything for a broken necklace I can’t wear, or store credit. Which is unacceptable to me if you sold me broken merchandise. Luckily, I had brought everything that day to return that I could, minus the other jewelry I purchased as I am aware of their policy. The employee basically called me a liar on saying that she has no way to know if I broke it and then brought it back. Well, it didn’t happen. She went to speak to the manager, who never actually came out to talk to me, an irate customer. The girl that was behind the counter when I was waiting agreed with me and even admitted they constantly break jewelry when unpacking their shipments.
So, moral of the story, they’d rather keep that $ 22 from broken merchandise they sold me than keep my business. So, the $ 200+ I ordered online over the weekend was refunded as well. I will no longer support this store. I don’t like to feel like I’m being accused of something I didn’t do. Beware: throughly check your accessories before purchasing. They won’t make it right if you end up with a broken item. Here’s hoping the store credit I use for another piece of jewelry at the same price because I won’t spend another cent there isn’t broken when I get it home.

In addition to the boutique itself being absolutely adorable, the owner is amazing. I can’t say enough about Rio Ritz! While the boutique was relocating their online store, they had a situation come up while dealing with my order and handled it in the best way possible!
I placed an order online Aug 8^th for a couple of tops and a super cute necklace. I received an email the next day (the 9^th) stating that due to the relocation of their online store, there would be a slight delay on packaging my order. The email then stated that for any inconveniences caused, they would be emailing a $ 10 gift card and refund my shipping fee ($ 5). The boutique could have EASILY realized my package may be a day or so late and decided not to contact me, like most shops probably would have done! I received both of those emails, the gift card and shipping fee refund, right away.
Then I received an email from the owner, Thais, with a sincere apology for the delay in my order. She stated they like to sent things out 1 – 2 days after the order is placed with the 4^th day being their max. Even though my order was placed on the 4^th day, they still chose to refund my shipping fee and provide me with a gift card. Then, the necklace I ordered was sold out so she refunded me right away and then said it would be restocked in a couple of weeks. On top of the refund, she gave me ½ off the necklace and is shipping it to me for free. I couldn’t believe the email! SO SWEET! I will forever support this shop!!!

Love this boutique shop in dallas. It has original pieces that are reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and they have mimosas if you want to shop and drink. Every time I come in the store I find a piece I love!

The best boutique around. Cute affordable clothes and the sweetest staff. After had just being at another boutique, milk and honey, and having awful customer service, I was greeted immediately, by tei different girls, asking if I needed anything to drink and the second she saw me holding clothes, asked if I needed a room. This is the place to shop! Keep up the good work rio ritz!

This cozy and welcoming boutique falls in line with many of the other affordable, on-​trend Dallas women’s clothing boutiques, but what sets Rio Ritz apart is the staff.
Pros: They were quite attentive and friendly, which Is refreshing after having been in so many stores with staff that just can’t be bothered. Smiling is a good thing. To be asked if I need help and to have recommendations provided can put you in a good mood (aka buying mood). There was usually one of every size, and the store was well organized, which really makes my shopping experience better and more pleasant. They had a good mix of slubby sweaters, patterned tops, dresses, and sequined skirts and shorts. Parking is easy during a weekday morning. Not sure about at busier times like the weekend.
Cons: To be expected the clothes are all variations on a theme, but if it’s ‘your style,’ you’ll love every piece in the shop.
I will be back, especially since it’s so convenient for people who live in Uptown.

This boutique consistently has the cutest clothes, best prices and best staff on the Dallas small business scene. I was in the other day after a disappointing experience of another boutique (AHEM MILK AND HONEY COUGH) being extremely rude to me. The associate here remembered me from just the one other time I had been in and helped me pull new looks and find pieces that she thought were my style and a good fit for what I was shopping for. This is what shopping at a boutique should be like!

Obsessed with this charming, hip, affordable boutique! Great finds that you won’t see anywhere near Dallas! The owner clearly has amazing taste! Can’t wait to pop back in when I get back to Dallas!

Absolutely love this quaint little store! What’s the best thing about it? You can afford it! Most boutiques in the metroplex are sooo expensive and you can barely afford one item versus an outfit. This was such a charming surprise from the wine, the prices, and the employees. If you don’t shop here, you’re crazy.

I am so happy to find Rio ritz boutique! It’s right in the heart of uptown Dallas. The clothes are ao trendy and chic and SO affordable! Every time I go in there are always lots of new options. The owner, Thais is so sweet! She always helps me put outfits together. They have shoes and jewelry and purses that are amazing prices. I love that they have pieces and lines I hacent seen in all of the other boutiques. This store is the perfect place to come in and find a really cute outfit for the casual weekend, date night and girls night out. So happy rio ritz is here! It’s just what uptown shopping needed!!!
