Business Owner

Dr Kevin Nguyen attended the University of California, Irvine as Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. Before he graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2009, he devoted several years of intense scientific research at prestigious Cedars-​Sinai Medical Center. Therefore, Dr Kevin’s philosophy of practice is more scientific base. He has strong passion for his work and likes to have the one-​on-​one interaction with our patients. THANK YOU DR. NGUYEN and ASSOCIATES. Talk about good hearted people who practice dentistry FOR THE PATIENT. I came here to get a second opinion because the previous dentist I visited informed me of the dreaded root canal news, although the cavity had not yet invaded the nerve. I put my Faith in Dr. Nguyen, saying, if there is still hope that we can fill this cavity without a root canal, I would rather hold onto it than give up. Dr. Nguyen was extremely understanding of my viewpoint and took action based on what I was feeling. He was honest too, because he said if he saw ANY signs of bleeding, that meant a root canal would have to be done. SO the procedure went on, and SUCCESS. This doctor just saved tooth nerves that have been a part of me since birth and was able to SAVE ME without doing me unnecessary operation. I mean it’s not about the money, but for him to understand where I was coming from and operate successfully while respecting what I believe and feel, RARE GEM. Come here, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Doctor Nguyen and Associate! You have done very well!

A dentist that is open on Saturdays AND Sundays. A true blessing! The team there will take excellent care of you. Anyways, I’ve been wanting a smile makeover for the longest time. Now I feel a million times better when I smile. Thank you so much Dr Kevin. You and your staff are awesome! I have also put the picture of my before and after crowns!

I went here a year ago. The staff is very good and the women are pretty. The doctor seemed to have small hands which was nice because I did not have to stretch my mouth open far. They worked with my insurance to get my covered. I give it only three stars because of the three cavities they fixed, one of them hurt when I would eat and I had to go back and get it fixed. After they fixed it, it still hurt to eat on that side just not as much. A year later that tooth is still very sensitive. None of my teeth hurt before going to the dentist. They did say I could come back again if I had anymore pain and I never did so that’s why they still get three stars and not one. Hopefully soon I’ll find a new dentist to fix that tooth.

I just have to say I’m glad that owners can see these reviews. I just received a call from Dr. Kevin and he sincerely apologized for his employee.
I applaud the owners that are concerned about their business and taking time to look at the reviews that effect their business. He informed me that I did not have to worry about the guy I spoke with, and they do offer the service that I was initially inquiring about. Speaking with Dr. Kevin showed me customer service at its best! I’m glad I will never have to deal with that guy again.
In the future I will ask to speak with the manger to make sure I am getting accurate information especially when I have an experience like this! I have my appointment set now! I am a happy future customer!

I think the place is okay. The nurses were nice but I am now officially scared of this dentist. I have been to a lot of dentists but none of them have ever advice me to get braces. I’m 23 now and I just went not too long ago this year.
I felt like he wanted me to buy a lot of stuff and use a lot of his services.
I do think he knows what he is doing (but I’m no dentist)
However, I feel like I would go to another dentist for a second opinion on my teeth now.
He is good for the times (open sundays) but I am also looking at another dentist now who I heard from my best friend that her dentist (up in Addision) is very honest and will not push you to buy or add on services.
I am not bashing him but this was my experience.

I am so happy I found Richardson Dental Care. My crown cracked on a Saturday and I was looking for someone that can assist me on a Saturday. Not only could they fit me it, I found a gem. I recently moved to Dallas and was looking for a Dentist. My cracked crown turned into a blessing. They are so nice, the office is so clean, and they make you feel so comfortable. Also, I have seen them with children and they are very patient and supportive of both the parent and child.

I cannot praise highly enough. Dr Kevin & the staff are fantastic! I don’t know any Dr nicer, and more full of love & care than this cheerful Doctor. They can squeeze you in anytime 24 hours/​7 days. Very clean. I genuinely recommend them. There is absolutely no way you will regret. Just try them!

I thnk Richardson Dental Care was great. The cost of the initial exam was very reasonable. They took care of my immediate problem and sat down with me to outline a plan to take care of everything I need done. I have already scheduled my next visit and will be a patient for years to come!

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside it’s all sparkly brand new.
Everyone’s nice, and discussed a plan with me to maximize my lousy insurance ($ 1,500 annual cap) to fix my many large cavities, perform root canals, and employ crowns to cover up a dead tooth and major visible fillings in my smile. For the first time in 15 years I’ll have a perfect smile and instead of the $ 20,000 quotes of cosmetic dentistry outfits, it’s only going to cost me around $ 1,500 out of pocket over the next few months.
They take payments, and do everything in-​house, so I don’t have to get a referral for the cosmetic work. Plus they’re only a few blocks from home. I’m here on a Saturday and they’re ready to start my first root canal same day. The convenience of scheduling major work on a Saturday is huge. Night and day difference compared to my former dentists.
I really hope this new-​ish business thrives because I’d like to be coming here for a long time.
PS: I forgot to mention, they do have six private rooms for dental work. So that’s ten chairs total I guess. The open area is for convenience and parents, you aren’t going to be holding hands with strangers while getting a root-​canal. ;-)

Awesome place for dental care. The dentists try their best to help out their patients. I came in expecting to get a root canal, which basically kills the tooth and would probably cost me an arm. The dentist was actually able to save the tooth with just a filling. I would recommend this place to anyone.
