I decided to change my alarm company to ADT, considering they have the best technology and service, I had the 800 dollars free equipment boucher, but decided to upgrade to a 2200 dollars equipment. long story short, it took 5 techs to come to my house during a 4 week period, and one over the phone to trouble shoot. the first guy was not trained, he did not protect several windows, left several holes in the wall, took 9 hours, and had to leave without finishing the install. I was offered two gift cards as a compensation, one for 100, and one for 75, I received one for 25 and one for 100. I took 4 personal days, which cost me way much more than that. on the first visit, the police surrounded my house, since they forgot to add delays to my door sensors, same thing happened the 4th visit. now I am one strike away from being fined by the city. now I am screwed with a 36 month contract with them.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. They didn’t install all that was promised/purchased. Tech wasn’t licensed to install our fire alarm(then why send him???) Half of the installed devices don’t work. Plus the system wasn’t even programmed properly so we’re not fully protected. 9 days later and no one has come to correct it. Customer service is horrible. Management could care less about quality and service. The worst thing of all is that the tech tricks you into signing a contract without showing you or first telling you that’s what you’re signing. With the shenanigans I’ve seen so far, I’ll be cancelling! CONSIDEROTHERMONITORINGCOMPANIES especially with all the wireless options out there. You can get equipment in the mail that is easy to install, and avoid the outrageous costs and contracts.

Sleazy sales alert: ADT alarm company!!! I hate this new trend is telemarketing. «Hi JT, it’s Dawn Lynch congrats on your recent sale of 1234 Property Drive, call me back please at 972−555−5555.» That’s it. No odea who she is. Is she an agent with a question? Is she a neighbor? She didn’t say. So I am intrigued and call her back. It’s just $#@% ADT trying to sell rip-off alarms. Grrrrrrr…
