My computer was dead as can be and I googled laptop repair since I am new to the area. Darrell came to the house, checked it out and took it to have it checked out more thoroughly. This was on a Friday afternoon, he called me on Saturday to let me know what they had found out, and brought it back to my house on Monday. I had taken it to Geek Squad and the only thing they could do was send it off to the manufacturer and have it back in 3 – 4 weeks. Who has time for that? I was thrilled to have my computer back in working order in 1 business day. Price seems fair as well. Darrell was friendly and courteous and I would use him again.

Don’t let a couple of bad customer experiences sway your decision to use this company. They did an excellent job for me. Daryl was on time and the price was as stated. My mother in law’s laptop had a horrible virus on it. She could hardly even get on the internet with it. Daryl picked it up from my place of work, a television station in Dallas, and drop it back off to me in about 2 hours. The laptop worked great. The viruses were cleared off. He did such a great job on it I let him fix my son’s laptop as well. Same thing… He picked it up from my place of work and returned it to me in about 2 hours. The laptop has worked great ever since. Daryl was on time every time. I can’t speak for other computer repair issues, but I can attest that Darrell’s virus removal has been successful both times I’ve used him. He was polite, on time, knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional.

I was very hesitant to call this company because I had read the previous review and was concerned about their business practices. However, I was also desperate because my laptop had completely stopped working and had all of my work documents, home/​office documents, wedding planning documents, pictures, and music on the hard drive. All of which was NOT backed up (which is a huge mistake that I will never make again). When I initially called, the representative was polite and explained that they were a mobile service that sends technicians directly to you to try to fix the computer/​laptop. They found a time that was convenient for me to come by and take a look at the computer. They did not mention a price estimation at this point, but I also did not ask. I think it would be less of a surprise if the customer at least had an idea of how you price your services, so they can decide if they want to continue or try another repair service. The technician, Darrell, was about 10 minutes late for the appointment. However, he was extremely polite and did a great job explaining what was wrong with my computer in layman’s terms. I was very lucky, and he was able to recover all of my files and my computer was able to start up again properly. He charged $ 150 for the service fee, and I asked him to install a virus protector which was another $ 50 bucks. This was a little more expensive than I anticipated, however, it’s hard to put a price on all those valuable pictures and documents had they not been recovered. Clearly the reviewers before me had a bad experience, but I did not. I would suggest that the company address the issues that occurred with the previous reviewers and the late arrival with me. They were able to fix my computer in a very timely manner, and I am very happy with their service.

Timelyness: good (late to appointment, but able to fix my laptop on the same day)
Price: excellent (some of the pictures lost would have been priceless)
