Pavilion Townplace

Most unfortunate. I have lived here for over four years and after the management/​ownership changed in the last year or so, things have not been the same. My husband’s car was stolen from directly in front of our building less than six months ago, and it was broken into again last night (no valuables had been left in the vehicle). He was told today by management that there is nothing they can do. At the initial theft we asked for an alert email to be sent out to our community, which they never did. So. While this was a lovely place to live in the past, I’m afraid the current crime and lack of intervention and involvement from the management and property owners is causing us to look to live elsewhere. Christmas is a terrible time to have a second deductible to pay from our car insurance. In the meanwhile, we are still waiting for the gatedoor on our building to be repaired since the lock has has been broken for about two weeks. I must say the individuals on the maintenance crew are lovely, as are the lower level folks in the office. It’s a shame that the upper level management doesn’t care more about the community here and the people living in it. It’s a modern Ebenezer Scrooge. In the meanwhile, I hate to write negative reviews, so everyone else please have a safe and Merry Christmas.

My husband and I rented an apartment for our housekeeper. The staff was very nice and made it very easy to complete the process. When our housekeeper moved in she was not treated well. She had a power outage and went to the management office and was told that it was not their problem. After calling the power company and finding it was a problem with the complex she went back and was told again that it was not their problem…“besides it was a weekend and the maintenance man was off duty”. She went 3 days without power. Finally on Monday my husband went by the office and they had someone check and sure enough it was fixed immediately. Everything in her refrigerator went bad and she was never compensated. The management has never treated her well, but when we complain on her behalf they are happy to assist. I have to assume there is some discrimination going on here and would not recommend this complex. She is moving out.
