I provide affordable advice on color selection for walls, cabinets, flooring, fabrics, countertops and other surfaces. To assist with your selection, I bring thousands of color samples on several fan decks, decorator-​sized chips, small sheets, and large posterboards.

Because each person and each home is unique, so are my recommendations. Unlike services who claim to «pick your colors» over the Internet, or merely provide pre-​determined color schemes, I consider all relevant factors — including your personality, lifestyle, existing furnishings, room size, and particular lighting conditions — to guide my suggestions. The result is a personally tailored approach that can save you hours of worry and frustration. Plus, you get free follow-​up via phone or email. Rates start at just $ 55/​hour within Dallas, and increase with distance.

History

Established in 2008.

I received color training as a consultant and custom matcher for a major Fortune 500 company, where I worked for 7 years.

This background familiarized me with pigments, formulas, and a variety of coatings. I often assisted retail customers with their decorating needs, and also worked with painters to help them replicate looks from magazines for high-​end homes.

In 2008, I took this expertise to the next level by creating a service offering color consultation in the customer’s home. Working onsite has allowed me to provide much more precise color advice, because I can view all other surfaces and décor present, and also take into account any unique lighting conditions — which can have a profound effect on how paint color appears.

To date, I have helped hundreds of homeowners across the Metroplex, and developed color schemes for every style home or décor, from ultra-​modern to Old World and Victorian.
